As a 2pac fan, its hard to not let at least 1 tear drop while listening to thug mansion..
Agreed😢
Facts, I just did ! RIP Pac, Biblical!
Bitter sweet feeling
Tupac had so much more to give this world. He was so far ahead of his time talking about real problems. I know he’s in the master bedroom in thug mansion. Rest in peace
''picture me inside the misery of poverty, no man alive ever witness struggles I survived''. Man that made me cry when I first heard that
Baby don’t cry by 2pac is pretty good too.
RIP the GOAT
I remember hearing about his death on a news report, even in those days it was a global event with masses gathering in all different countries. This was pre social media, a true show of how much supporters he had globally
Im a fan of Shady and many say he opened the door for Hip-hop globally but many already supported 1 legend in the field 🏴
I have always loved this track. Tupac with his genius, poetic ways and raw emotion. That last verse gets me every time. Interesting story behind the lyric -
'Little Latasha sho’ grown
Tell the lady in the liquor store that she’s forgiven, so come home'
Latasha Harlins was a 15 year-old Black girl who was shot and killed on March 16, 1991 by “the lady in the liquor store” Soon Ja Du (the owner).
Long story short, Du saw Harlins putting a bottle of orange juice in her backpack. Du concluded that Harlins was attempting to steal, evidently not seeing the money Harlins was holding. After words were exchanged and a few things were thrown at each other, Du shot her in the back and head after Harlins turned around to leave the store.
She would’ve been 26 had she been alive when this song was released, hence the “Little Latasha sho' grown” line.
Would love to see Life Goes On and/or Shorty Wanna Be a Thug in future. Keep up the great work!
didnt know that story! but it speaks volumes on pac's lyrics, knowledge, passion and empathy. Love that man to death
@@roccovb5377 Absolutely! He was way ahead of his years. Legend
Well, 2Pac passed in 1996, so he likely wrote this then. I think the powerful part is that he's saying that the girl forgives her shooter. Forgiveness is very hard for some people, so Pac suggesting a murder victim forgive their killer, essentially telling us all to have that level of forgiveness in our hearts, is deep. In one of his last interviews, he himself said that his anger towards Biggie was temporary and said he considered Biggie like a little brother, so he practiced what he preached.
@@petej7136 exactly
Pac is a global legend. One love from Somaliland ❤ ❤
Thank God 2pac left me with good music
REACT TO THESE TWO SONGS ..2PAC FROM A THERAPIST PERSPECTIVE..
UNCONDITIONAL LOVE &
SHED SO MANY TEARS
The last verse is a little surreal from the fact that this song was released years after he passed, so it's like he's really speaking to us from the after life.
Whole albums were released after he passed. Supposedly, he did so many songs those last 15 months because he was trying to complete his contract obligations as quickly as possible and get out of his contract. He was still on a rookie/new-artist contract at the time, which pay artists pennies on a dollar. He never signed a deal with Death Row as an established star, he was still under his 1st contract which was given to Death Row because he became too controversial for the original record label.
Awesome reaction, sir 👍
God bless you and yours 🙏
This is a song that's on the same level as the song imagine of John Lennon. An I would say I like Tupac's song even better
RIP Pac
love the pac reactions
Nice watching reactions from a professionals perspective as with your profession. You were spot on with your comments about those in your office, sad it's only a fraction of the many kinds of struggles we suffer with and through. I could go on for days in detail and still not said enough. More people are finally starting to speak up and it's that information that will help those who will go online and not to a DR. I come from the perspective of you and those sitting across from you. When your brain is an ass and you're simultaneously aware of it. A high level of 24/7 self awareness is exhausting. And only gets easier with influx of information and knowledge
Oh this is one of my favorite reactions ever! 🙌🏼🙌🏼💐💐💐💐💐🫶🏼
Thanks John 🙏🏼 brings back good memories 🙌🏼
Honestly I tried IT twice. The second time I swear on everything all I heard was that line in my head ( and when I held that 9 all I could see was my mama's eyes) that line help save my life but it was god first. Praise GOD
