  • I installed a set of AMP Research Running Boards on my '19 Ranger over the weekend. I'm very happy with the way they tuck up to the truck when not in use and they make entry/egress so much easier! Link to product page: www.stage3motorsports.com/761...

    Josh, great job on the installation video of the E-Boards, your video finally convinced me to buy them. You did a much better job than AMP Research.
    Keep up the great work.

    You know what the drop distance is for this? I have a stock 2020 ranger would like to know what the distance is from the ground to the step if you could find that out. Amp research told me a foot from floor boards to step but doesn't seem like alot from my stock ones, only about 3 inches. Thanks

    Josh, how low is the step when down? I'm thinking of taking my factory ones off and installing these. The bottom of my factory steps are about 15.5" off the ground, hoping to get it a couple inches closer to the grown.

    I watch this video to see if they have the same clunk mine do when retracted. Mine has the same clunk when retracted. Maybe it’s normal? I’ve seen other amp steps that are quiet when retracted. Hmmmmm 😎 great video!!!!

    • @wsteele5864
      @wsteele5864 ปีที่แล้ว

      I just installed my AMP Research Powersteps on my 2022 Ranger today. Yes, the clunk at the very end of the closure is normal. I installed them on a GMC Sierra AT4 and that too had the clunk at the end. It seems the clunk is the final snugging of the steps against the rockers by the motor,
