@@JeremyPaulVisuals ended up getting a 2021 when they first came out. Took me a while to start buying some mods. I have a silver xlt blacked out Couldn’t get the darker gray color but I still love mine. It’ll be sexy once I get some new tires and that grill in. I don’t remember if you do or not but let me tell ya. Get ranger stickers on Amazon that go into the indentations on the tailgate if you haven’t already. COMPLETELY changed the look of the entire back end of the truck and it looks great.

I leveled my ranger and just bought some 32’s they fit great and look great. They’re also on the stock 18’s
Nice, I need to level it as well. I do want wheels that have a more negative offset so that it fits snug within the fender flares.
Wondering if raising it 2" would fit slightly bigger tires, maybe 33-34's ?
@@JeremyPaulVisuals have you looked at customoffsets.com/gallery. People upload their builds and it’ll tell you the lift wheel and tire setup.
I have been considering something like that on my ranger, how does a setup like that affect gas mileage? I do a ton of highway driving for work and want to know if the bigger tires and leveling kit will cost me a lot in gas

Not hard at all, just use a clip removal tool

Get wheel spacers. Fenders without spacers is like toothpick legs with XL cargo shorts lol. Looks great though

Revan1606 definitely don’t need wheel spacers. Just yet the right off set wheels. I did the 2.0 fox coil overs, method wheels, Nitto ridge grapplers 285/70/R17’s and the truck rides and looks great. Also did the GO Rhino rb20 running boards and a Diamondback Se tonneau cover.

Where did you tap the electricity for the grill lights?
It comes with a splitter cable and you route it under the driver side fender to connect it to the sensor.
Where do I get that Ranger sticker for each side of the rear?
I just bought the same Truck. I came from a Black one... Black is horrible... How is your paint holding up??? Any scratching just from washing??? My Black truck scratches when you look at it.

The paint is holding up real well, we've been off-roading lately and I haven't seen any noticeable scratches/chips - I've hit a few small branches when going off road too. It is honestly inevitable though.

get a foam cannon for your pressure washer, they are much better than the hose kind. Tons of foam

Also got my side steps for my Ranger from Stage 3 and the instructions called for 'left' and 'right' side steps, but gave no clue as to how to tell. I finally spotted a drawing where, if you looked closely, there's a little rectangle on the drawing of the left side step that shows the brand at the REAR end of the step on the left side. That's how I mounted my steps. You mounted your steps with the brand on the forward end, so you may technically have your steps reversed. But, you're steps look symmetrical where I were not so it matters to me which step goes to which side, but, with your steps looking symmetrical, it should not matter and just be a matter of which way you like it. As for the new grill; is there any warning that the new grill might interfere with the radar panel behind the grill that's used for passive cruise control? If the new grill is all plastic, I would think not, but if the new grill has metal, then maybe.
Yeah they look symmetrical and are solid!
As for the grille, it has not interfered with my cruise control or lane keeping assist after all these years!

nice! I'm 10k miles in and it is still standing tall - no issues or complaints here, wish I had a longer bed but that is about it!
I'm @19k mis on my black '19 Ranger XLT FX4 crew cab. Been flawless so far! I really expected no less.. as Ford is the King of trucks! Just changed the air filter for 1st time.. w/AEM dry flow (synthetic) air filter.. flows better/improve MPGs. We should only be using SN+ full synthetic (any good brand) motor oil & Motorcraft oil filters ! I change my oil every 4500mis religiously. These TGDI - Ecoboost motors last forever & run best w/ SN+ full synthetic motor oil. Tranny fluid will be changed by my local Ford dealer here in NW Ohio @40k mis (10spd trans we have is very durable.. same unit as in F150) since i tow a classic Mustang 2 wknds p/mo . May have friend install new Roush- Fox 2.0 shock kit soon /raises 2in / levels truck /much better shocks than the already good Ford FX4. Lastly, my Ranger drives & runs as good or BETTER than day I bought it .."very solid build quality" like the F150! Its superior to '15 Tacoma TRD Pro i traded in. #Ecoboost
Do break-in oil change @ 1000-1500mis max / go easy on it 1st - 1000mis /no revving - long idling / very tight tolerance internals- forged. Use ONLY SN+ rated *full synthetic 5w30* (any good brand - I use Pennzoil Platinum). Use Motorcraft oil filters - are cheap & outstanding. Go to Ranger5g.com an study! ;)

What size wheel and tire after you level the front end? I'm getting my Ranger soon and I don't want to do a full lift, but I'm reading people are fitting 33s without cutting anything after the leveling.

Check out the newest video! I ended up getting 33s with the fox suspension kit and had to cut the front crash bars due to rubbing.
@@JeremyPaulVisuals Dang it. I build my Ranger with the FX4 package to get the rear locking diff. I living in the blueridge mountains, so it comes in handy. I guess I'll have to get some miles oit of the suspension before I switch.
Was you able to keep the same rims after putting on mud tires?
I haven't upgraded my wheel/tire set yet. Will cover that in my next upgrade video!
I'm interested to find out about the tires you put on. I want to do a little more than 33's but the crash bars from what I was told, would be in the way. Also others did cut their bars to fit a bigger tire.
Yeah that's what I want to avoid - going to run these tires out and do a 2-3" level kit and see how big I can go.
@@JeremyPaulVisuals, I was told by Ford that if I did the 3"level kit, I can get 33's on my stock rim. I also noticed the other day taking a closer look at mine and the crash bars in front and behind the front tires are bolted on as if they knew people would want bigger tires. I'd say if you can...try to change the arms out for pushing the tire slightly out. Doing that with the lift and removing the crash bars, might all for a 35" tire. Now that would be nice.
Where you buy parts bro? Get the big tires and will be complete badass!
I plan to continue upgrading my truck, next on the list is a locking bed cover and the tires/wheels will be next.

I use this type of rear view mirror, I have been using these types of clip-on's for every car I own. Really widens your view, safer lane changes, blind spot checks, etc.

Hey Jonathan thanks for the question, while car washes may seem more efficient in cost & time - the process isnt entirely good for the paint of your vehicle (bristles could scratch new paint). It also never gets it entirely clean, I have always hand washed all my cars growing up - plus you get a sense of accomplishment when it's all said and done.

How did the lights for the new grill connect?
They are powered by a splitter - it is wired through to the driver-side front tire and hooked into the halogen light bulb (where the front sensor is located)

Unfortunately after I cleaned my truck I forgot to record it! Application is pretty easy, just apply like a sticker and use a flat card to get the air bubbles out.
I bought a gladiator for myself 6 months ago and love it but bought a Ranger 4 door 4x4 for my son and love it as well. Adding 2” lift and 33s as well as any other mods , very excited with our build and yours.
Right on! Glad you guys are loving your new purchases, I definitely can't wait to throw a 3" level kit and some 33-34s on there, might be regretting not opting for the 4x4, but with some good tires I'm sure I'll be fine (hopefully). Stay tuned for the future mods!
