Special Shout out to @raikenprofit I watched a video long ago where he showed me how to research items with the minimum price on Ebay Navigation. Also @dailyrefinement and @technsports facebook group taught me a few tricks too.@technsports has a different way of researching then I do. check out their paid group to learn even more about how to research your items and make more money reselling on Ebay
This is the first video if yours that I've ever watched. You got me to subscribe just off the value of this video alone. I've been a reseller for over 20 years, and you just helped me learn a few new keywords.
Just stumbled on your video. I literally just found about 7 or 8 vintage 80s wrangler "brushpopper" shirts this weekend. You just made me a few hundred bucks. Gonna subscribe...
Holy crap! I have about 6 VCRs in my garage collecting dust. They all work and I have 2 Panasonic Blue Line and 4 Combo drives. I didn't want to deal with the listing and shipping on those items, but it is with it if they sell for that much.
This was awesome! New subbie here too! I constantly try to find new key words and have lists of them on my desk. Thank you SO MUCH for the info and for getting right into it, I stayed until the very end.
One keyword not commonly thought of is common misspellings. I had an item and the color was Caribbean. I misspelled it doing my initial search and only came up with a handful of results. When I spelled it correctly there were a lot more results. So when I listed mine I spelled it both ways and sold the item in under 1 week.
That was really smart to spell it both ways. I wouldn’t have thought of that. I just would’ve smelled it correctly. However, by spelling it both ways, you were able to find a buyer quickly. That was genius!!! Thanks for the tip. You learn something new every day 🎉 Do you have a channel here on TH-cam? What platform do you sell on and under what name? Id like to check out your items 😀
Very true key words matter. I do video games and if it's a game that has repos galore I always put in the word authentic and make sure I take the correct pictures of certain spots on labels and even show the motherboard with the manufacturer's logo clear as day.
This is the best advice. I struggle with keywords all the time and always wondered why some of my items might sell for a lot higher and some don't. I didn't realize I was getting lucky sometimes and using special keywords to attract higher paying buyers. Thanks for clarifying it!!!! I will redo my whole inventory and search for those special keywords to relist with.
Great video! Thanks for the tips. We're currently reviewing our titles for our old listings. When we started a couple of years ago, we were way too vague! This advice helps a lot!
Thank you for this video. This is the information I was looking for and didn’t know how to phrase the question. Your videos help me so much and quick and easy to follow I love it!!!
You get a big thumbs up my friend. I've been an ebay seller since 2002 and while I know these techniques I definitely don't practice them regularly and don't periodically look to find more or better keywords for things I am familiar with. I know other long term resellers that just throw up listings and complain about low/slow sales but just do more of the same day in and day out. Never consider the hungry competition is upping their game while the "experienced" is gloating over how many years they've been doing this.
When things slow down I try to utilize my time on what is already listed. This has opened a new avenue to work on. I am subscribed and now a faithful follower. Please continue to share the knowledge. I will get you more subscribers. Thank You
Hello. I just found your channel the other day and learning so many tips. I was out today and was checking out the electronics and found a BLUE LINE Panasonic PV8450. Paid $9 for it. Didn't see any remote controls. LOL. I am so excited to get this listed. I would have never thought to look through electronics until I saw your video. I have been on posh for nearly 2 years but just started selling ebay May 2023. I was hesistant to list on ebay because of the shipping but I sat down and watched some videos and now I have the shipping down. I also liked your advice about shipping costs for clothes. etc. Looking forward to more video's.
One definition for Brushpopper is water-repellent, wind dust and sand resistant work shirts. Another defines them as much thicker material than traditional pearl snaps and button ups and says Wrangler produced them between 1979 and 2003.
One of the most useful videos I’ve watched! Just posted some vintage Scully Western shirts and they sold for much more than others quickly when I put other words like “Cowboy, Rodeo, Rockabilly” in the title
I sell coins, and I usually look through sold auctions for the coin I'm listing, find the recent listing that sold for the most (that's comparable in grade) and click "sell one like this". I reword the title a little bit, put up my own pictures, and that's about it. Sometimes it works REALLY well, others... not so much. This week's auctions are a bust so far, for example. I may have to rethink my technique. 🤷♂ Informative video. Subscribed! 🍻
As I am watching this video, I am revising listings to have better keyword order. Just sold one of the newly revised items and I’m still watching the video while making more corrections. Thank you
Huge fan of your work. Thank you so much for the tips and tricks. I know you don’t cover in this video however, some of your other videos you have and I’m just curious how you list and test remotes controls to TVs/electronics and such. Thanks
Great info brother, got a subscriber, always looking for ways to get better at my ebay business, just crossed 5000$ in sales. appreciate the video, knowledge is key
That's because Terapeak does NOT work,....I know this because half of the items that I've sold over the last 2 years don't show up in the Terapeak results. The "1 year" and "3 month" terapeak results are extremely terrible. The 2-year search pulls up about 30% of the results in my experience. I use Terapeak everyday, -but I use it with a huge grain of salt if you know what i mean.
Excellent video and excellent advice! Thank you sir! Keep up the good work and you'll probably be hearing from me. I just posted my first listing today.
I struggle with keywords, especially with selling just jewelry on eBay, Poshmark and Mercari. I never know whether to put Vintage first or the brand first, if I should put the measurements, color, gold, silver, etc., etc, I do have all these keywords in my description, but the title I do not. By the way, just subscribed!
If you are serious about reselling jewelry I highly recommend Daily Refinements Reseller Nirvana group. It’s $35 a month and they have a dedicated jewelry call every week
@@JrideFlips You must of read my mind. I watch him all the time! And just sent him a comment yesterday that I was thinking about joining the group! So funny!
I buy/sell jewelry a lot; good titles for me include vintage, brand if known, material (ster silver, 18k, copper etc), descriptive shapes (Cross, star, shell etc) and any niche words you find while researching. Eg a cuff with copper and brass can be keyworded 'mixed metals'. Torsade is a multi-strand that's twisted around itself, demi parure is a match set etc. Moral of this video is know your product, know your niche buyer!
I am just getting started in Media, DVD, CD, and Vinyl, do key words help there, seems like, sell one like this has done all the work for you. I do have a few "blue line" players, so thanks for that lil tidbit. Thanks
Brushpopper is a specific fabric. The shirt you sold was definitely brushpopper but telling people to use that as a keyword for any wrangler shirt is terrible advice and probably going to result in many people receiving returns if not negative feedback. That’s like telling people to use the term cashmere for a sweater that’s made of polyester. The reason your shirt sold for the price it did was because it really was a brushpopper shirt. Obviously you want to know what that word is but don’t tell people to use this as a general keyword as it’s going to end poorly if people do that.
I really simplify my title wording and I look at it from the perspective of how is the simplest most common way a buyer would search this item or how would it look when typing it into the search bar I agree like blue line is a good thing maybe to put in but I don’t think there are more searches for blue line opposed to Panasonic VCR or Panasonic VHS Player If you get what I’m saying. I do love your deep digging for sure this is a topic I personally look deeply into myself I’d love to share ideas man
Great info, thanks - you have a mispelling in the about section of this video - it says item "septics" instead of specifics. I've never heard the term blue line with regard to VCR's and didn't find out what it means when I googled - what is it all about?
VCR player....LOL...I guess I am showing my age of 47....we call them VHS players.... I sold them for a living when I was in my early 20's and I have not used one in over 20 years..... super bulky and you get returns so I would never think about reselling them....the remotes make sense but the big tank VHS players are a waste of space. Awesome points on the Kobe label...I did not know that at all and yes I have sniped up coins from a reseller that had no idea what they had....and yes they messed up the listing description with the wrong key words...
Finally someone who does what they say in the title.
I immediately liked & subscribed.

Get it listed and keep researching other items to sell in your area!!
What videos did you watched that helped with shipping? That’s the part I’m in the least motivated.
Heck of a video that’s about to put you over 1k. Good info and very smart for where you’re at on TH-cam. I’ll check back in here and there. Good luck!
Thank you
Great advice! Keywords in the title are super important and making the most use of the 80 characters they give you!
Totally agree!
One definition for Brushpopper is water-repellent, wind dust and sand resistant work shirts. Another defines them as much thicker material than traditional pearl snaps and button ups and says Wrangler produced them between 1979 and 2003.
Wow man this is REAL ADVICE I cant thank you enough
Thank you for watching! More to come
Love your channel! Really good content, not alot of other youtube resellers give.
One of the most useful videos I’ve watched! Just posted some vintage Scully Western shirts and they sold for much more than others quickly when I put other words like “Cowboy, Rodeo, Rockabilly” in the title
I used to call them “hot words” back in the day. Good advice!
Also known as “clickies” lol

Awesome tip!! Love watching your videos. Do you sometimes not use the 80 allowed characters if there's not much to say about the item.
First time watcher, brilliant video and so helpful. Thank you for your honesty. Subscribed 😊 🇦🇺

Thanks for the tips. I have two NWT Wrangler pearl-snap brushpoppers listed, had never heard of brushpopper before.
Buying items on eBay to sell them more on eBay because of better “keywords” is straight beast mode status. Great video
Straight up bro
Great advice! Will definitely be adding this to the business! Thank you for sharing
Love the info, as a new seller I’ve got so much to learn and appreciate you!
That was fantastic! I’ve been selling a few years, but can definitely learn a lot from you! Subscribing for sure. Thanks so much!

Welcome aboard!
Fairly new seller, this helps so much, thank you!
I’m the last two years doing a Terapeak search, that VCR has sold only twice for $80 plus shipping and those had extra cables with it.
That's because Terapeak does NOT work,....I know this because half of the items that I've sold over the last 2 years don't show up in the Terapeak results. The "1 year" and "3 month" terapeak results are extremely terrible. The 2-year search pulls up about 30% of the results in my experience. Whats terapeak?
Very helpful. I have access to lots of used western wear and that brush popper will be super helpful! Thank you!
Glad it helped
Thank you so much for all that you do. Really helpful!
Excellent video and excellent advice! Thank you sir! Keep up the good work and you'll probably be hearing from me. I just posted my first listing today.
Not only have I heard of “brush popper” shirts, had bought them back in the day.
Novice eBay seller here. How would this work for video games? Thanks for all of the great content btw.
i love that wrangler shirt, we get wrangler in the uk (usually plain denim/ plaid/ check ect) but not the old colorful vintage styles
Wrangler is great!
I subscribed & liked thank you so much 👍🤗
Do you have a video for newbs without sales yet? Thank you for the information. I’m soaking it up
Thank you for the great advice. My only question is… how the heck did you buy a shirt on eBay for 99 cents?? How is that even possible???
I struggle with keywords, especially with selling just jewelry on eBay, Poshmark and Mercari. Search dvd and set it to $30 +. “Multi zone” is a great one etc, etc
I had the same identical wrangler shirt at the beginning of the video for $40 on poshmark.
Just ran across your video. Great content. Thanks. New subscriber. 😊
As soon as you said “very exciting video” I put my seatbelt on

i’m gonna refresh my top 25 titles with this tommorrow …. that’s for the examples
Love to hear it! You’re welcome sir
Yo I copped hella of those old wrangler shirts the one the pearl snaps
Can you tell me how you ship golf clubs and remotes?
Any keyword/title tips for pokemon trading cards that you would recommend that might not be so obvious?
No but if you do the sold $30 + exercise I’m sure you’ll find some
@@JrideFlips I will give that a shot. Thanks. I Enjoyed the video also.
