Executioner class custom animation by Huichelaar Fire Emblem Sacred Stones Microhacking

- Huichelaar is a Fairly new member of the FEuniverse hacking community and he is quite talented, in his own words the credits for this amazing animation are as follows:
"I re-used graphics from some GBA games. Credit:
Sword animation: Credit to Konami (Castlevania: Circle of the Moon) for the thunderbolt & SMITHYGCN for ripping it, IS for the mage knight crit effect & FEplanet for ripping it.
Magic animation: Credit for the thunderbolt vfx goes to Namco (Klonoa Dream Champ Tournament) & Frario (sheetrip), Krome Studios/Vivendi Games (The Legend of Spyro A New Beginning) & Heartlessdragoon (sheetrip), HAL Laboratory/Nintendo (Kirby: Nightmare in Dream Land) & ?, yay (sheetrip).
Map sprites: Credit to IS for the shaman map sprites and Lexou for ripping them.
Class card: Credit to Natsume (Medabots: Metabee/Rokusho) for the hook (I used Rokusho’s bladethingy from a cutscene) & Demonlemon for ripping it.
Everything else was made by me, Huichelaar. Everything is F2U and F2E, but do give credit."
And everyone asked for another option for Thiefs in Microhacking, so here we go!
Current changes made:
1.- Paladins can use axes now, Great Knights get +1 movement
2.-Marisa gets a proper custom animation for the assasin class (FPZero, Moocavo, Riku)
3.-We got Sophia in FE8 with a custom spell and a custom animation for the summoner class (Velvet Kitsune)
4.- And now we added custom animations for super Trainees on Tier one and two for Amelia and Ewan and for Tier 2 for Ross. Also they get their Japanese version max stats on their classes. (Spud, TBA, Black Mage, Temp, Wan, Waleed, Maiser6, Zomaxiee, Greentea, DerTheVaporeon)
5.-Sophia gets 4 support conversations
6.-Forblaze and Aircalibur are now functional (Shyuter)
7.-Suppot limit expanded from 5 to 9 (Circles, Aera, Marlon, 7343)
8.-Elphin from fe6 added with acces to light tomes (Black Mage, Temp, Wan, Eldritch Abomination)
9.-Lyn is added to FE8 with her Brave Lyn class and her Blade Lord Class as promotion options (Redbean, Marlon)
10.-adding third option promotion for some classes
11.-Making a Magic Flyer animation (Redbean, Marlon)
12.-Giving the Falcon Sage Proper animation and map sprite (Redbean, Marlon, streethero)
13.-Making a Dark Breath animation for Idunn or other big dragons. (Marlon, Shyuter)
14.-Archer gets female warrior promotion (Temp)
15.-Capture added
16.-Female myrmidon gets Female Hero promotion - Changed to Dread Fighter Mortal Savant (Nuramon)
17.-Tethys gets swords (Circles)
18.-Making Monsters stronger
19.-Giving some monsters new custom animations (gwillgi ranged teraspark, elder tarvos seal, elder bael ranged teraspark, gargoyle seal, gazer seal, wight teraspark, wan, entombed ranged teraspark, ST JACK)
20.-Circles Skill system added
21.- Adding Echidna and fixing monster glitches
22.- Custom battle animation for CAELLACH
23.-Custom Battle animattion for Joshua (SD9k)

When the normal attack animation looks like a crit, you know the actual crit animation will be mind-blowing.
I feel that the normal attack animation is a bit too long, but that crit is so cool!

I think my ONLY issue with this, is that as many people said, the regular attack animations feel a bit...Much. But if the issue is, is that to much effort was put into something to make it flashy? That’s honestly not a bad thing what so ever!
if it's to be considered the style just by the style, sure, there's no problem in "too much". The problem is when this style gets in the way of the experience. If the animation takes too long, who will patient enough to sit down and watch it whenever it plays? Most people will just skip it, boost speed or straight disable animations, which in the end, make all the effort useless, since no one will be watching the animation.
So yeah, though it may be better to have this as a problem, having *nothing* as a problem is much better.

Executioner: Has a grappling arm that pulls him towards his target.
Me: That's cool.
Also Executioner: Same Grappling Arm is also a magical arm cannon that he blasts spells from.
Me: "Oh my god!! He's so god. Damn. Cool!!!"

A cool mechanic for this class could be that this class can attack at a higher range, pulling him to an enemy with the grappling arm and leaving him at melee range. If there's a character already at melee range they'll swap places.

Or perhaps if their Con is lower than his strength?

For the animations, I feel that the normal attack could look a little more impactful i think is a right way to say, but the crit is perfect entirely and i love it. Overall pretty cool for a class idea and id love to see more from the creator in the future. 9/10 micro hack
Love the work you guys do and i like how you are showcasing the work of new members of the fe modding community. It looks really cool, but the part where the critical animation lands the strike feels a little off to me. But that is probably just me. Overall, nice showcase and keep up the good work.

i think it's cool to see the attack animation at first since it's flashy and all but it's not something i would typically watch every battle (it's pretty long for normal attack) , but the crit attack animation ... i wouldn't mind watching that over and over again.

How odd to see a class which combines both past and future into one. I love the animations but I feel the normal melee should just be the hook and then the blade (so fire first then strike with the blade, rather then reveal, shoot, toss, and then slash). The crit I don't mind, and the ranged attack I feel needs a little better positioning. But above all a really high quality animation

Absolutely flashy, but that's how you can tell there's effort, cause making sprite animation fancy is a labor of love XD i'm gonna enjoy this class for sure

Holy shit... While I do agree with everyone that said the normal sword animation takes a little bit, this class looks INSANE! Definitely when you get a clutch crit, you will SCREAM because the animation looks beautiful.

It seems a little over animated. Definitely not the kind of thing i would watch happen hundreds of times, even if its super cool.
i think that the magic animation looks a bit weird, with that magic arm, i feel it should be a staff, but at the same time, it looks badass!
I think a good way of shortening the animation would be to cut the part where he throws his knife into the air. He just goes straight for the kill.
I'm not sure how long it's been a thing but when I played it my convoy somehow deleted every staff and axe I had.

I was going to say that the animation seems a bit too robotic, but then I saw the mechanical arm...
My dude, obviously I don't know for sure, but it seems like the audio desync issues we're seeing in this animation showcase and in many of the showcases on your channel are coming from you using the "Record Movie" option in Virtual Boy Advance. Don't do that. It will ALWAYS desync and ruin these displays of your great animations.
Try using Open Broadcast Software as a free option to record these, or, barring that, use the "Record Screen" and "Record Audio" vba options separately and splice them together afterwards. Great animation and I hope this helps.
Feel like Executioner should be more of an Axe class imo.

I think its more because of the addition of items not in the base game, not the convoy size, that makes the cheat not work

What are his abilities
Looks cool but there's a few quality of life changes it could have.
1. When it's not selected it's very static on the map, it doesn't Bob like all the other normal units making stick out like a sore thumb.
2. While cool looking the none critical animations are just too long to justify keeping animations on. Personally id recommend cutting out the part where it throws the knife in the air and just have it hit the enemy with the hook shot -> moving in for the kill. Really like the miss animation though. For the magic shot id recommend ×2 the speed, it's not quite as long as melee but it's just long enough to enduce tedium after the 5th time.
Love your work and I hope you can see this not as a dis but as constructive criticism
Yeah, the map sprite stuff is a bit of a bug. Some of them do not work.
About the animation, I'm not the author, but I could change it in the future.

I agree that some of the animations do feel a tad long but I think the size of the sprite bothers me the most. It's too big.
there seems to be a minor bug about ross promoting from a journeyman into a pirate or fighter cause there was this one time when my ross reached level 10 he he didn't say anything about flexing how big his muscles became and then proceeding to become either a fighter or pirate and after that he never gained any exp after reaching lvl 10 like he's capped
