If I can wrack my brain cells .... I saw them twice just on the "Ritual de lo Habitual" tour. They attracted moderately violent mosh-pits. Just making an observation. I never wore boots so I had to be cautious about which one's I entered. For example, Slayer: no; Pantera: yes w/extreme caution--got my nose smashed in one of those; Fishbone: YES. I found the Fishbone pits to be the most "civilized." Yes, I know that some think the less civilized the better for mosh-pits. My favorite story is set at Vassar College, Poughkeepsie, NY, which was all-girl for many decades up to some time before I went to see Fishbone there, somewhere around 1990. It was set in a small room and I was in the pit not far from the stage. One sneaker fell off and those surrounding me made a circle so I could safely get it back on my foot. Needless to say had this been a pit at a Slayer show, I would have had my head kicked while bending over trying to pick up my sneaker, assuming of course that it could even be found.
They have fallen so far. I love their music, but the live show is just complete crap. Saw them in 09 and it seemed like they were just going through the motions. Thank god NIN was there and saved the day.
I am 47, Chris Chaneys Age ...The next Youngster is dave..50 and Perry ?? when you get to be 58..how good are you still? You have to pick your battles.to Play/ rock..the next night. Not picking a sparring battle, but How old are You? dlaird8
I saw them on the tour with NIN in Charlotte and thought the exact opposite. NIN blew hard. Jane's ruled that night with Eric Avery. And Tom Morellos band couldnt hold the guitar strings of either of those bands that night, they sucked bad
