The modes for ‘Portal 2’ are great as well. Recently I played ‘Portal Reloaded’ and ‘Portal Stories: Mell’ (Also thanks to Gameranx), and really enjoyed them both. Really recommend you to try them out for f you haven’t already as they they are the closest thing to a ‘Portal’ sequel we have at this moment

I don't know why he would not add timestamp.
@@Almighty_Flat_Earth because watch time is very important for channels. It’s half of the watch time and views part of the algorithm. More watch time means more recommendations and more ad revenue. In other words, adding time stamps hurts half their ability to gain subs, viewers, and ad revenue.
Right?... I thought I had a stroke and couldn't grammar anymore. - Which is something the way how the interwebs does make me feel like it anyway... Whatever, I've given up.
@@bdgrey - Or, people could open the video and jump through it and stay for what they WANT to see and not leave immediately when they see it's not timestamped. - It all equals out anyway... It's not gonna make most people just skip a bunch of stuff and drastically reduce watch-time. - If someone doesn't want to spend the entire video, they won't anyway, and again, they might even leave sooner if there's no way to be more specific. That said, the kind of videos gameranx makes doesn't really need timestamps/chapters, as they're so short that they go rather quickly, especially if you watch at like 1.25x speed or something, and you can even just drag across the timeline to see the slates for the numbers in a "list"-video and do the skipping anyway.
I love that Bethesda doesn’t even get a logo head. It’s just Todd Howard. Also, Dragon Age IV has the Solas follow up. So I don’t think it will disappoint since their stories tend to be really good

That game is so underappreciated. It looks generic but once you start playing you find out how different it is. I still have it installed, wish there was more players coz I want to try the multiplayer.
Just look into the bigger fan-made creations that already exist and are still coming. - Really, I'm not the biggest player of Portal-games, but I've loved them and am absolutely fascinated with that "universe", so to speak, and still need to get into some of those more significant community ones. - I encourage any fan or anyone who was still waiting for a "Portal 3" (as I was) to just check those out and support them. - Valve could indeed not live up to what fans have already done anymore, apart from perhaps production-value or whatever. - At this point, I just would like Valve to make like a bigger version of "The Lab", where you're not a test-subject but perhaps part of Aperture Science or something, so that you could actually manipulate the lab or chambers and so on. - It would also be fine if they did VR-only and with the newer engine, though a traditional option would be nice.

Well hopefully they just use one of the maps from ESO that already has been debugged and hotfixed to work properly instead of an entirely new map. In this i mean mesh wise not textures. The textures for a single player locally run game should be better than any MMORPG can support. The other issue is they will be marketing this to a userbase / player base that most likely will expect it on all platforms like Skyrim is though for what i said would only be possible on the PC Xbox series X / S and PS5. The harder part would be the thing of weather or not to include ESO as a ES5.5 title or a game outside of the timeline then if a ES5.5 title how far along into it to part ES6 as ESO is most likely still going to be a thing. So lore wise ES6 would have to take place during ESO's timeline either now or later when ESO catches up to when ES6 takes place. The other part that they might be having a hard time with is every elder scrolls game's character creation process has been different. ES6 most likely will be different from 1 through 5 and online's version of it. IF they are doing what they claimed they are and changed game engines for ES6 how to make character's work in programming also changed. So characters are probably going to still be bugged just with new bugs instead of old bugs

I would love to see Alan Wake sequel. That game has such a great, thick atmosphere.
Control's AWE DLC has part of it dedicated to Alan Wake, but I agree, a full sequel would be amazing
Same!
Hopefully Control leads the way.
Been waiting years.
You will properly get it, also want it so bad with Control Sequel, both is in the works at Remedy^^
Ubisoft has left Beyond Good & Evil fans on a cliffhanger since 2003
Remember that there are still people waiting for Sonic Adventure 3.
It's been over 20 years now...
I'm still waiting for a Jak 4 game, my hopes and dreams keep on living, I'll never surrender!!
Same here!
Same!!!
I heard Naughty Dog had converted their plans for Jak and Daxter into Uncharted: Drake's Fortune.
One day brother
It's never going to happen lmao. And we all know that. We've known that for a long time, my guy.
Star Wars Republic Commando deserves a sequel. Damn it lol.
That and Kotor, even if they feel impossible.
@@filip9587 kotor should get a sequel and it shall be called kotor 2, wait...
@@tiredperson1354 wow man haha so funny haha really clever
Who would be your dream studio for republic commando? I'm thinking coalition or machine games would do great.
Even just a remaster would be so good
I would love to see a new version of quake with single player. With the just release of Quake 1 enhanced and the reboot of Doom there is hope.
Quake 4 killed the franchise. I played it first on the hardest difficulty, expecting to get all 4 difficulty achievements from that, but noooo...had to play the same exact story line 4 times.
I put it down and never picked it up again.
I'm dying to see another Arkham game
No go & play Gotham knights 👍
Sadly, rocksteady said knight is the final Arkham game. I just finished playing Asylum, City, and Knight but can’t help but want more. Let’s hope the new Gothem Knights and Suicide Squad games are good when released.
@@XYZ-ky2ok that’s if it doesn’t get delayed again for another year
@@XYZ-ky2ok Sadly Gotham Knight looks like a RPG leveling system like the New AC series, the focus will be less on fluid combat and more on leveling up and grinding. So keeping my hopes low.
Ahhhh what's with series nowadays and dropping what made them great for RPG Mechanics
Not everything needs to be one.
Jet Set Radio. We've been begging for so long that a different company other than Sega pretty much made it themselves, now xD
And with the hype of this game, if and when it's successful, I really hope Sega finally notices it again!
but also, Fable. I know they released a teaser a while back for the launch of the new gen, but I haven't seen anything since.
What game and who are you talking to.

Megaman Legends came out in 2000 we have been waiting 21 years for a sequel.
judging by the fact that there's so many old games revived with remakes, i just hope they make sequels for Chrono Cross and Legend of Dragoons, at least make a remake.
Love both games
Legend of Dragoon was my favorite PS1 JRPG. Came out in the year 2000. It's been 21 years now lol.
Damn Chrono Trigger is amazing. Played it as my first JRPG this year and it's incredible. Still haven't finished it, stuck on that Rust Tyranno boss.
Edit: Finished it now
Legend of dragoon is my favorite game of all times, still hoping to gets a remake or something
@@aya8475 That's the SNES JRPG, right?
KOTOR 3 should be on this list. Also, I can't accept the MMO as the continuation for Revan and the Exile's story because, you know, it's a fucking MMO!!
Why can’t that be a sequel
Yes. Should have been on the list for sure. I'm waiting. Patiently. Forever.
Yeah it sucks you're not going to get a real Star Wars rpg as long as EA has the rights. Fallen Order is about as close as youre gonna get.
@@plaidchuck didn't you hear. EA does not own the rights to Star Wars games no more. Ubisoft is making one. Look it up.

I wish they would just so I could have it on xbox
There was a spiritual successor in the works called Star Wars 1313 (iirc) but it got canceled :(
LucasArts went bankrupt if I remember well
@@carloambrosio6726 Yeah, that's why I said it doesn't pass the "possible" requirement. It's too bad. I remember waiting patiently for a sequel to come out when I was a kid. Never did :(
@@GrechStudios f for you
This video made me redownload Portal 2. I remember seeing the commercials on TV and being so hyped for it. PC gaming was at its peak back then for me when Valve put out some really great games. Good times
Its 2011, you see 2 video game commercials, either Portal 2 or De Blob 2. Only one of which is a good answer
The title doesn’t make sense, should be “10 sequels fans have been waiting for the longest” or something. Apart from that amazing content as usual :)
IKR 😂
6.56 million subscribers have been waiting LONG for gameranx to provide timestamp chapters in his videos and he doesn't give a damn. He never gives the timestamps, which is annoying. That's a disgrace to us. Many of us asked him to add timestamps in his video, but he doesn't bother. Even small YT channels have timestamps chapters in the seekbar.
So I don’t think it will disappoint since their stories tend to be really good
Command and Conquer deserves a sequel. At least bring it back to C&C Generals/Zero hour era.
Maybe remaster them? That would actually be enough to please me, atleast.
We need a Tiberian Sun and Red Alert 2 remake
I miss c&c so much 😢
How the heck did you guys not mention KotOR or Fable? I've been waiting 17 years for another KotOR game!!! Don't get me wrong, I love this list and appreciate y'all. I'm just crusty about the lack of Star Wars games.
Ah, my bad. I guess I was "that guy" that missed the disclamer this time haha.
Republic Commandos needs a sequel too
Because Disney wiped the slate clean when they got Star Wars.
Which makes Kotor, and Republic Commando non canon and sequel impossible.
(Disney only wants games produced in their universe).
Fable is absolutely great
heh heh boyyyy
Freedom Fighters was my 2nd favorite game I had for my GameCube next to Geist. True Crime was a great series, too.
As much as I want all of these, wheres the jet set radio fans at? :'(
Check out Bomb Rush Cyberfunk.
It might answer yours, or ours, nostalgia
Freedom Fighters was the shit, my cousin and I would play it for hours. Send your whole team to the enemy bunker and watch the carnage through your binocs
Can't wait for the next Dragon Age and TES.
A game that I would love to see a spiritual sequel to is Return of The Obra Dinn, it does not have to be in the same setting, timeline or even universe but created as a solve a mystery game with the games mechanics, art and music identical or similar to Return of The Obra Dinn
At this point the devs' children will have gone to college, graduated, and gotten hired at Bethesda when Elder Scrolls VI comes out.
If someone was 2 when skyrim came out, they will be an adult when ES6 comes out. (based on a 5 year dev cycle)
The sequels are never as good, so they'll probably also suck at making sequels.

Bulletstorm - that game was so much fun and it seemed like it came out of nowhere. The shooting combined with powers was excellent

It's been almost 12 years since we had a good Fallout
Fallout 4??
And i say it, as someone who started his Fallout love by Fallout 4
Can't wait to finally play GTA VI in 2030... But really, I'd love to see a third Portal game.
I think I heard of a spiritual sequel coming...
Fucking Christ what about Half Life 2 Pt. 2 +??? There's a huge fan base waiting but valve can't count to three
Just look into the bigger fan-made creations that already exist and are still coming.
I would really love to see a sequel/reboot of the Prototype series and the Army of Two series. While I don't like the companies that made these games (Activision Blizzard/EA), I really do loves these series. These games have a lot of potential and could use some love.
Army of Two was so good
Army of Two was something my brother and I absolutely jammed on. But the chances of a new console co op shooter … yeesh.
Love Prototype

Skies of Arcadia, Chrono Trigger... we've been waiting even longer. We RPG fans are used to disappointment
You missed one, Stalker 2, we've been waiting for it since 2009, only recently being announced to release in 2022
I want the new Fable! It's been more than 10 years. But it will come out "before ES6" , which is basically every game in development except for Star Citizen.
Or 7 Days to Die. That game will never release either lol
Steambot Chronicles is a great game for the PS2 and not long after it was released, a sequel was announced. Game trailers were shown and the devs announced that they were nearly completed with the game. Then, a tsunami hit in Japan causing the development of the game to halt and Irem to close its doors with the console games industry. Since then, Granzella has started with some of the same members from the previous Irem team and has started making sequels to those previous abandoned franchises. 15 years after its release, there has still been no word on a sequel to Steambot Chronicles, but Granzella CEO said he still wants to finish that sequel for us, and fans patiently wait.

Let's skip the riot an I'll get the torches lit an sharpen the pitchforks...time for a good ole angry mob

Doesn't Ratchet and Clank Rift Apart count as a sequel to the R&C franchise? Because Ratchet and Clank 2016 was just a remake of the original 2002 game. And I personally don't count R&C 2016 as a continuation of the franchise. So, basically what I'm saying, is that fans of the franchise, had to wait 8 years for the sequel to Into The Nexus. I mean doesn't that count?🤔
11:40 quote: "For modern PC-s" After the price hikes for video cards due to miners, and the lack of a noticeable increase in the performance of x86 central processors, the phrase "modern PC" sounds like a mockery.

Ahh, Elder Scrolls 6.
I can't wait to experience all the same bugs and glitches that have been around since Morrowind, but in an all-new setting!
Shenmue fans had to wait 18 years for a third installment, absolutely insane!
