Thank you so much! In all honesty this is the first time I am attempting such a thing so I had no idea what I was doing nor any real hope that it would work. 😂 So it could have been a couple of hours in the video bin... not the first time unfortunately!
@@BrokeLifeEU Apple and Google should hand a broken Makita and a fiver to every job applicant as a screening procedure. The world would be a better place in a year!
14 is a really solid price for this. I initially did not think it could do much with the 4V battery, but I was very pleasantly surprised. Granted this is my first rotary tool but it did everything I asked of it and that mode panel was a challenge but it handled it very well. Thank you for the recommendation it is a nice little tool! In fact I am really starting to like the 4V Parkside tools that I have tried.
@@BrokeLifeEU I can't believe i accidentally posted half of my comment. Had to edit it again. 😂😂 But yes, those 4V Parkside Tools did what they are supposed to do flawlessly. I love the Flexiglass fix. As a self identified OCD patient for attention to details, i thank you for not ignoring it. 😅
The problem with cheap tools is the trigger feel... I'm fixing my dead Makita with genuine one because of that. I have also wondered if it's possible to make gisam/onevan or whatever tool better with Makita genuine trigger for better feel.
I don't think it is possible to do that on the Gisam. That said I have not attempted it, however it must be said that the electronics inside the Gisam are somewhere between regular Aliexpress and an actual Makita. Also you do have a point you do get a much higher quality with the genuine thing.
@@BrokeLifeEU It's worse if you use genuine thing for the last 8 years at work 😆. I'm definitely going to do motor swaps into Makita or triggers into gisam when i get a few dead ones!
@@wanderer7779 The motor swaps are doable, the triggers looked a bit different, but O don‘t have a genuine Makita one to try on the Gisam unfortunately. That said I think the Gisam has better speed control than the Parkside 😅
@@BrokeLifeEU And gisam is garbage what does that make Parkside 🫠. @@wanderer7779 Parkside is possibly the cheapest brand you could reasonably get away with purchasing. Mainly because of the warranty. The quality is becoming worse by the month but at least you can return it if you don‘t like it. Not the same with Aliexpress/Temu etc, if you don‘t like the product in most cases you are stuck with it.
Unfortunately I don‘t know. I don‘t have any inside information. I hope there will be one! I don‘t need it but it will be nice to have! I hope they bring one out soon!
Congrats on the mod! I did tried something like this myself on a makita 483 but didn't managed to finish it. On the motor itself, it matters the position of the wires?
I have used it for about 5 to 10 minutes. I will report back after using it some more. As for the mod yes, the wires need to be in order, just how they were on the original board. What caused your problems with your Makita restoration?
You are completely right, however I found that quite difficult to film so I went with this. Had it not been for the video content I would have washed it as you say. Thank you for the kind and constructive comment! I do hope you liked the rest of the video.
That head grinder you used to cut is one of best tools I bought in L. Very good presentation. And obvious knowledge and routine working.

🤣This is a wild guess but I will throw it out there. You did somewhat like the video right?

Or a Milwaukee for the "MURICANS could do too. 🤣 You know I am still shocked I managed to make it work 🤣
@@BrokeLifeEU Nah Milwaukee is too challenging, their tools have "Do Not Resuscitate" baked into their DNA 😆
😆😆😆 I will be hoping for someone to be throwing a stubby impact away so I can do some operating on it.
Very cool video. And thank you for the real review of the rotary tool 🔥 In my oocal lidl in Bulgaria the price was 14 euro

Just a very well made video 👍👍
Had lots of fun watching
Thank you so much! This means a lot! 🎈🎈🎈
More mod videos for sure. Would be interesting to see some of the makita clone wrenches transformed into drivers
I will see what I can do about that for sure! Did you like this video?
Nice ingenuity on the build. And a Parkside Ecosystem at home is looking like the best thing a man could possibly ask for. 🔥💯
Thank you! 4V Parkside is pretty decent indeed

Мне нравится тема восстановления инструмента 👍 Это как искусство.

Fantastic! Does it feel like 180nm of the original?
Thank you! In fact it does, feels at just about somewhere around that number.
