Most of these nail salons are the same. They treat their costumers like crap, even call the police. They ignore you when you are telling them what you want. Finally they are very rude and disrespectful.
Not to mention the life long diseases you acquire along the way.
Costumers dress people in costumes; customers buy goods and services. It’s a small difference in spelling with a big difference in meaning. Sometimes using the wrong word makes it difficult for non-native English speakers to understand comments
I stopped going to nail salons several years ago. The people who are still going to these nails shops are asking to be ripped off and infected. As you see, even they wear mask while using those chemicals. They do not clean any of the equipment thoroughly. Never!!!
By law, they're not supposed to be performing services on people with known fungus, and they're supposed to have you fill out forms about your health before even attempting to start working on you. For instance, those with diabetes have to get pedicures done a specific way. The nail tech is supposed to go over that with you prior to starting services. I haven't seen a nail salon do this yet! Plus, I've heard nothing but horror stories about the workers in a lot of nail salons, along with my terrible experiences, which resulted in me, to stop going altogether. They're rude. When you try to tell them anything about what you like or want, they're not receptive to it. They absolutely 100%, NEVER take accountability for anything!!!!
They speak Mandarin or their language in front of their 100% English speaking customers, which is asinine and rude as hell. Why?? Because 9 times out of ten, they're speaking badly about the customers.
Since when did a refill cast more than $35? Or a full set more than $50 to $75??
Here's how you stop them.
Stop going!!! America has let every race and cultural of people come to America and when they get here, they're rude, demanding, with a sense of entitlement and expect the legal English speaking Americans to conform to their ways!!! BS!!! We can't go to their country and any other country and behave this way. Period! Stop doing business with anyone who doesn't treat you with respect and shows appreciation for doing business with them. Stop giving them your money!!! Restaurants included.
If you're born here, then America is your home. Are you going to just let strangers come into your home and run it?? I think not. Hell, do your own nails and feet. They sell everything you need on Amazon. And cook at home!
The only way these people and corporations will change, is when WE CHANGE!

I learned a long time ago to ALWAYS ASK "how much" before any work is done for ANY SERVICES! (I.e., nails, hair, car, food, dental, medical, etc.) I'm not ashamed and I will continue to do so.
they should’ve called their bank immediately and stopped the charges. take them to court. It’ll cost the salons more to take them to court.
How are they still in business? The state inspector office needs to do an inspection . Bet they have violations. This is the reason I do my own nails and feet at home.

Iam in Nee York I get a Reg Mani and Pedi for $26 dollars. Ain’t No where in hell I would go to a nail Spot and pay $300 or $700 to get an ole Mani and Pedi done not in this Lifetime. Those Woman must be walking with their Head Down 😂😂

This is why I avoid nail shops and only work with independent nail techs. They do a much better job and are ethical.
A lot of nails salon will upcharge you. With inflation happening everywhere, just another excuse for salon to charge more.
