- This is a Compatiblity video. IT IS NOT A SETUP GUIDE OR TUTORIAL. The cracking audio is mainly a capture problem, I had to use an hdmi converter to use my capture card and it distorted the audio but in real time the games sound good

It is so easy to Modify a Wii, it is so easy to set up emulators, it is so easy to add Wiiware and Vc games, its just so easy to do everything.. It was harder when I modified my Wii about 7 years ago as it was a new thing back then...Think that was when I did it, well its been a long time... I was probably one of the first.. I chipped it first and that was also easy... Basically what I am saying is the Nintendo Wii is the easiest system to mess about with the tools are more advanced now to do it.. If anyone wants to know how to do it then research it like I did.. don't be lazy
Yeah bro it really is , at first I had a hard just because some people on TH-cam are all over the place with stuff 😂 but one I figured out a peace a cake , I just don't know how to get cover art

Do you have the system BIOS? if no then there is your issue.
Ugh, are you serious? They will not load from a USB drive? That really, really sucks.... I have tried to get this to work time and time again and it will never load past the "Press HOME to reset, 1 or 2 to load a ROMSET". It just sits at that screen no matter what I do.

what sort of framerate does it get? full speed?
slybunda You'll get dips here and there but most games run at full speed. The more demanding titles like metal slug run about half speed in certain areas especially boss fights

It does support the GameCube controllers, that's what I used. You might have to get into a menu of some sort with the Wii controller and set it up, I can't remember

@@Bonedown530 Yeah I know, but alot don't show up on the wii.
@@Bobby8451 I got mine in packs not individual ROMs, you might have to do some research on how the filesystem is set up on the sd card or usb. I believe that you have to download some extra neo geo files to get it to work. It's been a long time since I messed with my Wii so I can't remember. I do remember that I got a lot of my information from darkumbra.net

It depends on the game, mostly 60 but it stutters sometimes

I'm hoping someone will get a notification of this comment and repond, if they have successfully got a Neo-GeoCD game to to off a USB powered hard drive.
Here's the folder layout and files they contain in my USB HDD:

Now mind you, i can actually get to the settings options and change the load option from SD to USB and actually load a game "OFF THE SD CARD" I actually do not want to load anything off a SD card.
The error message i constantly get, when trying to boot neocd off the hdd via homebrew channel or a wii channel forwarder, "NO BIOS AVAILBLE!, PRESS A TO CONTINUE".
Now as you saw my file structure, it has the bios folder and bios file, included in the folder. I copied my setup for the SD card to the USB drive, exactly the way its setup on the SD card, ( which successfully booted a game and allowed me to access the settings options, so i can change from SD to USB.)
So yeah, that's my issue, For some reason, the emulator can't see or find my bios, even thought its in the directory its supposed to me in. This is as descriptive as i can get without creating a video. lol
Please someone respond, if you have gotten this emulator to work off a USB HDD. P.S. Please don't respond with telling me to just load games off the SD card...that would be very annoying and borderline trolling as i stated i want to load the games off USB, Not SD. I'm so close to getting this emulator to work
NeoCD-Wii plays NEO GEO iso files, if that's what you mean. It's also really quite good :)
