That speech from Heidi in this episode was that kind of wisdom which I would have never thought on my own, and the way Tweek and Craig portrayed it is just chef's kiss.

Alex Katakuna Yeah, but the only reason they are together (I'm assuming they are still together, because they broke up in Season 20 for a completley stupid reason, but seem to have made up in The Fractured But Whole, so I'm buying that they have gone back together unless the show says otherwaise) It's because of Cartman's racist beliefs that black people should only be with other black people, otherwaise, Nichole would be dating Kyle.
El Luigismasher I mean by that logic the only reason Craig and tweek are together is because of the Asian girls drawing Yaoi and their decision to just pretend to be together. I would agree that they appear to be a more stable couple though just from their dialogue.
I think the girls were still angry at the boys throughout season 21, hence why they were so standoffish when Kyle went to talk to them in the gym. At least, there's no indication that any of the girls forgave the guys, so they'd all still be broken up. Otherwise, I'd say Nichole and Token were at least not toxic. They talked clearly to one another about their feelings and stayed a couple even when they felt people would judge them for being together because it's "obvious". This song touches me in a very personal level. I had two cousins who were killed by a distracted President using his phone. This issue needs more awareness, I really think people don't take this matter seriously enough
I think the coolest thing is the consistency with how they animated the choir, the voices that are singing are animated and the voices that aren’t have their characters with their mouths closed, just a nice attention to detail keeping track of what characters are singing what parts
I think this was the last season that I “really really” liked. South Park has always been about satire but nowadays I think they focus on it too much and don’t focus on the stories/plots enough. This episode obviously has some satire, but not too much of it, and it definitely has a good story with a great message, and of course it’s funny (like Tweek always freaking out about North Korea while Craig tries to help him, and Eric attempting to get all of the attention for himself about his suicidal thoughts). Some of the moments from this episode between Tweek and Craig are also surprisingly wholesome :)
It's not only Tweek singing the back up vocals at that part, there is a second set of backup vocals that sounds kind of like Kyle singing slightly lower notes.
So many things to praise here. Firstly, you can tell how much the staff adore these characters with how every single one has a different role in the chorus, like when Tolkien and Nichole aren’t singing but Kyle and Scott are, that’s fucking dedication to your characters. The whole message is both funny and sweet, and Cartman’s bit is really catchy too. I love Tweek and Craig in this one too, so so freaking adorable. One of their best episodes ever.
easily one of their best episodes ever. it really builds onto tweek and craigs relationship, while also teaching about some more serious topics, without making fun of them. Trey and Matt obviously care a lot about little details and it adds so much to the show ☆

That transition to single beat (where Eric starts his rap) has me addicted to this song

The animators when Eric start rapping and moving his hands so fast: oh shed.
That transition was really on point
Trey might've been getting a little inspiration from Hamilton, or maybe something else that transition sounded very familiar.

I think the coolest thing is the consistency with how they animated the choir, the voices that are singing are animated and the voices that aren’t have their characters with their mouths closed, just a nice attention to detail keeping track of what characters are singing what parts

this is definitely one of my favorite South Park episode. Like it's a joke but it's not a joke, and perfectly describes South Park.

Wow tweek's backup vocal at the start is so beautiful
wolfwhite forever what do you expect he's a kid.
It's not only Tweek singing the back up vocals at that part, there is a second set of backup vocals that sounds kind of like Kyle singing slightly lower notes.
wolfwhite forever yeah! He has a voice carved by Angels!!
One of their best episodes ever.
ikr!!
easily one of their best episodes ever. it really builds onto tweek and craigs relationship, while also teaching about some more serious topics, without making fun of them.
Trey and Matt obviously care a lot about little details and it adds so much to the show ☆
I wish tweek didn’t have a role
His name’s Token, not Tolkien
They deserve another episode because this one is very wholesome :)
I love how the choir just says "No one cares" when Hilary Clinton shows up to take the pledge
We need this song now more than ever. People still won't put it down.

Ok can we talk about how Craig clearly isn't the most experienced singer and seems kinda nervous, but he steps up to sing the lead in the song his boyfriend wrote to help work through his anxieties. That's actually the cutest shit. Craig and Tweek are honestly goals.
