In this week's coffee and conversations video we are talking about minimalism and the benefits of minimalism in a consumer driven society. I also go into depth on my own minimalist journey and the challenges I found in becoming minimalist and more consumer conscious.

    ABOUT ME ❤
Hi, I'm Carly, a thirty-something wife, mumma and former high school English teacher. I live in a sleepy, stunning coastal town in southern NSW, Australia 🇦🇺🌊
I am passionate about living my best life, while avoiding the hustle of modern culture and adopt a slow living mentality, creating beautiful moments in everyday activities 🌅 I love cleaning and organisation and aim to motivate others to have a beautiful, tidy space through my cleaning motivation videos 🙏 through establishing positive daily rhythms and habits 🌸 I have realised that so many beautiful things in life are free and find joy in exploring my local area, making conscious spending choices, minimising my impact and supporting small business 🌿

Recently decided enough is enough with 'stuff', in my time on this earth I have convinced myself constantly I need new little things to 'cheer me up' or make me happy, and its all a lie. Ive been decluttering for 2 weeks and think Ive downsized about 30/35% of my stuff at this point. I find myself decluttering more and more each day! Thank you for this and your video! Love from the UK!

Oh yes, whenever I'm in a low mood I'm tempted to buy things thinking it will cheer me up. But if I go through with it, I end up having buyers remorse and feeling worse 😕

Minimalism is the best. So wish I'd discovered when i was younger, rather than in my 40s. In addition to not having so much stuff to clean and look after, I love that I'm not just spending hard earned money on things I don't need and things I would just end up donating. I joke that I'm a real bad shopper these days as I very rarely buy things without a good long think about them.

Love this video as a great reminder of all the important thoughts about minimalism.
I really resonate with the focus on stopping the mindless consumption rather than on decluttering
    Well done!👍🏼
