"The forehead can get bigger"
Gotta love Peyton Manning!
Wait til he goes bald 😂😂
As a Texans fan I’d like to thank a few people.
Lovie Smith
S2 test creator
David Tepper
As a colts fan, Peyton is unfortunately correct. CJ has “it.”
Watching dude all year was actually really cool. But man. Him tossing long touchdowns like it's so easy is awesome. First time I watched a full game dude tosses a TD first play of the game. And dude threw it so beautifully. It was so effortless as well. He is really good
Same on Duvall
The reality of the situation is rookie Qbs that ball out like that dont end up sucking.
I’m so hyped for AR v CJ rivalry for a decade to come
Let's not give the Texans organization much credit for taking C.J. Stroud. If it were not for Lovie Smith winning the last game and giving them the second pick, they would have taken Bryce Young and I am from Houston.
I seen cj stroud potential in the Ohio vs Georgia game he made nice plays
that was the game for me that made me say thats the dude i want at the helm of an organization. Dude just has the it factor
For real, Peyton is the man, mad respect to him
Everyone talking like they have better insight than Peyton Manning about what it takes to be great.
Just bc he’s Payton manning don’t make him right lol…stroud is not fck’n with Brady or mahomes stop it
@@Aii896 Hes better than both when its all said and done
@@SFBay69 Stroud is the truth no doubt about that but in no world is he on Brady or Mahomes level. Go get drug tested ASAP
@@broderickcrawford8110 he will be far better than both when it's over
The man’s had one season. Let’s not speculate either way until we see more
This is why I was so pissed when the Texans got Stroud . I wanted him so badly . I saw him against Georgia ( although in a loss ) but to do what he did against that defence that seemed untouchable told me all I needed to know . Richardson can still certainly be something special so we got a good consolation prize .
Would have won the game if Marcin Harrison stays healthy
Oh, you wanted him? Imagine being equal parts Buckeye and Carolina Panthers fan. Knowing it's a fact that we have an uncontested choice to take him #1 overall... but simultaneously knowing the Panthers inept front office will ruin it. ☠
@@rukus9585 Yikes that's rough man . There's still hope for Young just needs a really beefed up O-Line because his size is a weakness for sure .
@@RipliWitanior if the kicker made the kick
"forehead could get bigger" looool
Same with Jordan Love 💛💚 would love to see packers vs Texans Super Bowl
From the mouth of the most cerebral Qb in NFL history and one of the best to play Qb. That’s a good enough endorsement for me, oh wait! Tom Brady saw it too! Nah those 2 don’t know football 😭
THE SHERIFF SAID THE BULLY OF THE DIVISION IS CJ STROUD. PAT IMMEDIATELY TUCKED HIS HEAD 🤣
Richardson has a lot to prove as far as passing….great runner but that will just put you on IR
I have a feeling that the wyatt 6 is gonna interrupt the pat mcafee show again on Monday
Pat on that juice ah nice 👌🏽
Ay, man! Ya used to torture us when Peyton was around. We didn't beat the Colts until that season he was out. We're due. Go Texans. Long live the H!😤
Texans are stacked, but teams have been studying the tape. We will see if year 2 will be the same or better.
They have tape on everyone and guess what people still get it done. He has tape too
All teams got tapes of each other
Im a Texans fan but you can't sleep on Anthony Richards the dude is a stud too.
AR will be hurt as usual. 3rd week
I’m more worried about Stechien as a Houston fan. That dude seems to be legit
Peyton is still my GOAT man love the guy
Anthony Richardson has done anything. CJ has to prove he can do it again. Everyone wants to anoint guys superstar for one season. To many one and done in the history of the nfl.
Chiefs fan here but I like Stroud
Me too. I wish he was in the NFC🤣
Peyton will be a GM soon
I'm just gonna enjoy a legit AFC South for a nice change. Colts haven't won the division in a decade now...but AR healthy gonna be a huge problem for everyone.
How the Browns felt when they saw a young ben Roethlisberger winning huge games...It went on to be Ben's stadium more than it was ours for the next decade. The more comfortable Stroud gets throwing in Indianapolis stadium should be alarming for colts fans.
When a top 3 QB of all time says that it holds merit
@@1hendrixx7 top 10
@@SFBay69 Peyton Manning shouldn't be lower than 4th on any credible all time QB ranking list. If you look at everything honestly and objectively, he's second all time behind only Tom Brady.
4th is really the highest he can be Brady Montana Mahomes are set in stone at top 3
I would put Arod over Peyton also
Peyton speaking the gospel 🤘🏾🍿🏆
💪🏿💪🏿💯💯 y'all the truth
Mahomes his first year was a phantom offside away from going to a Super Bowl, CJ got blown out in divisional. I’m a huge CJ guy and think he has the chance to be the second or third best. But let’s pump the breaks a bit
I love how y’all talk about how we got blown out by the ravens when we had literal historic amounts of injuries at the time. Pretty hard to beat a top 3 team in the league with 1 healthy receiver lmao
@@natedavis8669 every team has injuries welcome to the post season
and mahomes had an infinitely better roster, a year learning under alex smith, a seasoned OC, and an arguably all time great head coach who had been to the super bowl already. cj stroud had what everyone called a worse roster than carolina coming into the season (he elevated everyone), a rookie head coach, and a rookie offensive coordinator. you can’t simplify it as much as you are.
@@pluginpanda only casuals claimed that roster was trash in Houston. Their defense was one of the best the year before he got drafted and even took the chiefs to overtime that year. Easy how everyone forgets things that don’t fit their narrative. And Mahomes has one of the best rosters 🤣🤣🤣🤣 good one 🤣🤣🤣🤣
@@GriffinThomasMFCEO i guess the former players and GM’s in the media who, you know, were in the league, are casuals then.
I love how people are trying to argue against Peyton Manning on quarterback play. I thought I was delusional but y’all must genuinely be smoking crack 💀
Colts need to fall in line behind the Jaguars and Texans. 2024 Dolts going 6-11... And the narrative in Indy at the end of the season will be, "Well it was really Richardsons 1st season as a starter" ✅
Manning is just naturally funny. Love how he can make fun of himself. Charisma level 10.
His rose bowl game against Utah is an absolute barn burner. OSU kept struggling to stay up with Utah and at the scored at the end to win it!
CJ all the way
hahaha....."then there's this team out in Houston"
Texans fans living rent free in Indianaoplis.
Deshaun was a dog in Houston for a hit too
Really can’t wait for the season to start! Richardson will be ready!!!
CJ STROUD has it
Aye being in the division with Aaron Rodgers sucks soon as he left 🦁 make history 😂
Just like Brock Purdy you have to show us how good you are with less.
Damn nobody was saying this last year they was Bryce young is the guy and make panthers take a bust and Houston got a great player
They were saying he was the best and didn’t even realize they were saying it. They kept saying he’s hands down the best thrower in the class, has the best mechanics, timing, touch & is very productive. All they kept saying about Bryce is that his improvisation was the best when in he nfl his strength is his biggest weakness. People kill players who improvise and when CJ adds that to his repertoire now they wanna act surprised like he wasn’t capable of doing the same
@@3rdCoastSportsTV trust me I’m Ohio state fan CJ is the truth
Why are the colts in the AFC South to begin with?
Geographically it just doesn’t make sense
Cincinnati is farther south than Indianapolis
Not considering Brock Purdy in the “it” factor is WILD considering his draft spot and accomplishments
Brock needs that 1 vintage come from behind moment and folks will come around. It’s hard for him to shine with all the offensive weaponry and a brilliant coach in Shannahan.
@@mellomike4012 *ahem* 17-point deficit overcome at the NFCCG
@@dicegamenetwork ok, I had to go back and rewatch the game, honest assessment here. I wouldn’t call that a vintage come from behind moment. First you were gifted the ball twice by Campbell going for it on 4th down. If Campbell opted for a field goal the second time, the game might have went over time. I saw some very ill advised throws on Purdy’s part one resulting in an INT that would lead to a Lions TD making it a 14 pt deficit. Majority of Purdy’s passes were underneath and he had significant windows he was throwing into. The only one that wasn’t, was a high point pass to Aiyuk between 2 defenders. Honestly, I saw more out of McCaffrey and Deebo after the catch. McCaffrey was more of a reason to say the 49ers won the game. To me Purdy really seemed to struggle when the pocket got muddy. Now, do me a solid and lookup the Texans v.s. Bucs from I believe it was week 9. This is what I mean by a vintage moment.
@@mellomike4012 well I’m glad you kept yourself honest and took the time to go back and assess that game. But I have some issues with what you’re saying. This is football, where much can happen on any given play and many variables are at play. To say that MCDC gifted us the ball by going for it instead of a FG is assuming you know more about his team and his scheming of our defense than he does. He took the necessary risks and made the necessary calls he believed would work based on his experience all season long and the scheme leading up to that game. Hindsight is 20/20 so that point doesn’t work for me. And that shouldn’t count against Purdy. Purdy actually made key plays with his legs to position us to win that game, like mahomes does with his clutch side arm passing and at times running. As far as Purdy throwing only in significant windows. Thats just not true. Like you said the pass to BA. Also check the pass to Kyle Juszczyk. I mean tha might be the tiniest window I think I might have ever seen in a game ever. A sideline throw on a scramble once the pocket collapsed. Incredible. Also, Purdy plays extremely well in the pocket that gets muddied. He always has. There are plenty of examples of him staying in the pocket, taking a big hit and completing the pass down the field. Check the game against the Dolphins, his first NFL appearance (which I was at by the way and got totally sweet footage of Purdy ballin out), where he gets cover zero all game. He passes that test with flying colors as a THIRD string qb on his FIRST NFL appearance. He does it again the following week against Brady and the bucs. His first truly bad game didn’t come until the following season 23-24 against the Bengals. Not to mention Purdy’s speed. The 49ers won the NFCCG because of the team as a whole but in large part to Brock as a complete package. When the pocket collapses his scrambles are amazing. And he’s so fast. Check his 10-yard split. It’s just as quick as Lamar Jackson (please google this it’s an amazing statistic). He made key runs for 1st downs to get the Niners in position to let McCaffrey score. Don’t drink the haterade when it comes to Purdy. He finished as the most efficient passer this last season (passes, rushes, penalties), became the 49ers all time passing leader, and is more complete of a qb than anyone in the league besides Mahomes (the SB win is the only thing he has over Purdy in the 23 season in my view). So I completely disagree with him not having the “it” factor. While I recognize the great that is C.J. Stroud, he isn’t without help as well (great coaching, shanahan tree), guys on defense. Tough to make direct comparisons for me when football is a team sport and there are so many variables. Purdy had a low stat game in the Divisional round against the Packers but he had the grit to do enough that game as well to ultimately get a W. To me that’s an “it” factor, a complete player who has a high football IQ. And he’s only going to get better.
Bro had the best roster last year and still couldn’t pull it off. What top QB has a top 3 coach, the best roster and doesn’t win? Stop glazing bro he’s a good QB bro that’s it
Mahomes, Stroud and Love are gonna be the best QBs for the next 10-15 yrs. Richardson and Daniels have the chance to be Stars also.. if they can stay healthy
Putting Stroud and Love in the same group as Mahomes is dirty work.
No one is even close to Mahomes, not CJ, Burrow, Allen, Jackson none of them.
It’s crazy how people put Jordan love on a pedestal when he struggled for a good part of the year last year and then started beating teams that were already fatigued from the season. I can guarantee you that he will not have a better record than 10-7. Teams are going to watch tape on him and quickly realize the type of quarterback he is.
@@andrewboyce7268 Oh I KNOW that. KC born and raised. Just saying those 3 will be above the rest.

Lol bro stop being a hater Stroud is a winner and the way he leads his team into battle is astonishing. Ima be the one to say because nobody is, CJ Stroud is everything people thought Trevor Lawrence would be. A true generational talent, a pure passer, and a gifted thrower of the rock.
@@MildsandThatYac Trevor will always get dominated by us the same way we’re been doing. Jags are never a threat to spoil anything from a division standpoint. The jags are never good or make any true impact when the rest of the division is playing well

No this is the season to see with CJ. Same with Jordan Love. You gotta run it back again.
😔
Nah that's Brock
CJ had the SECOND greatest rookie QB season in the history of the league. Put some respect on Roethlisberger's name. 13-0, 14-1 including the post season. AP Rookie of the year. Lost in the AFC Championship to the Patriots who were cheating.
has to show consistency when his team gets injuries , the second his wrs got hurt the jets dogwalked em and they had the worst offence in football 😅
Tank dell missed half the season 😂 only had 1 wr for half the year now added Diggs

CJ had tank dell
Daks rookie season was actually slightly better than Cj js 🤷🏼♂️
Not even close if you compare the teams. Dakota will never bee good lol, he had stacked rosters his whole career and can't beat anyone lol
@@dannyalmeda45 negative. Dak took over a Super Bowl contender. CJ took over the worst team in football for 3 consecutive years. CJ also lead the league in passing yards per game and completion to interception ratio. Only 2 QBs have ever done that. Brady in 2007 and Montana in 1989.
Herbert's was objectively better than both. Just didn't have the team success they had
I don't know what league you all are watching. In the NFL, there is Patrick Mahomes, Lamar Jackson, Joe Burrow and everyone else, PERIOD. And of those three, Mahomes is far and away the best. Burrow and Jackson are the only QBs in tier 2. Stroud, Herbert, Prescott, Purdy, Hurts, Tua, Allen and all the rest fall into lower tiers. Jordan Love played well for half a season. He's not even in this discussion.
You not putting Allen is with those 3 up top is a terrible take. PERIOD.
So we should listen to you instead of Peyton Manning? I think I’ll go with Peyton Manning.
@@calebhoffman6368 Maybe. We'll see how he does without Diggs this season. IMHO, Diggs made Allen look a lot better than he really is. I think this year he'll have all those interceptions we're used to but without all the touchdowns because Diggs isn't there to bail him out.
@@haydensnethkamp1 You listen to whoever you want to. I know I'm right. CJ Stroud is 9 and 6 in his career and 2 of those 6 losses were head to head against Lamar. Every time Stroud came up against a good defense last year he lost. He was BLOWN OUT by the Jets, 30 to 6! Let's see what he looks like this year playing a 1st place schedule.
Stroud beat Burrow lol
Josh Hines Allen gonna get multiple Stroud sacks this year.
“It’s a great division” 🤨 It’s more like a division of constant disappointments Peyton
Joe Burrow happens to exist, unfortunate for stroud
stroud beat him tho lol without nico even
We’ll see what happens this year then, guarantee Burrow has more TD’s, and less interceptions.
Boo hoo cry more. Burrow sucked against the Texans, got picked off by random DBs
@@RipliWitani we’ll see what happens this year brother! Remember commenting back to me when the Texans are 1-4 to start the year.

He doesn't have any factor until he wins a SB. Until then he doesn't even compare to Mahomes or Brady.
Just another Jalen hurts. 1 year wonder.
Greatest rookie season ever is hilarious when Herbert literally had the greatest rookie season for a QB a few years ago
Naw Stroud ain’t the dude. He don’t have the talent or the mass appeal to be on Mahomes’ level. Dude had 1 good year. Furthermore he can’t be a face of the league with hair extensions and he’s in the same boat as Lamar Jackson trying to hold on to ever ounce of his hood speak.
