The future is both exciting and mysterious. Sometimes we have to tune back a little to find some comfort and warmth after exploring the world. Thats what makes nostalgia so nice
@@carlocarnevali7790 Thx for the compliment. This is why i like writing a lot. Most of the time i dont only solve someone's problem, but also to provide an answer to myself. It lets me think deeply and basically records my entire thought process. While we humans feel impressed by space travel and self driving cars we still can't ignore that the world is filled with corruption, people are still starving somewhere in this world, that there are still people fighting over stuff that is completely pointless, in a world where everyone is supposed to get whatever they need. You may cover your palm over that for a while, but the ash still burns. Our body require comfort as a bodily function, just like hunger, to notify us our needs for mental and emotional relief. While most songs nowadays talk about love, society and satires to some events in the world, nostalgic songs just doesn't. Love songs and others give a message no matter positive or negative, but it still have something attached to it and you will most certainly be reminded of each time you listen to it. But nostalgic music just doesn't. No lyrics(most of the time), no messages, no complications, no attachments. Just a good rhythm and a slow downed song. Most nostalgic music is slow downed to somewhat of a degree and it is just right to make us feel sleepy. It feels like a dream and nothing is real. Nothing has to be. We just love a good rhythm and a moment to relax. It is the best stress reliever and its just like taking drugs but no health concerns no matter how many times you listen to them. Somehow for our generation we feel nostalgia to be something really positive. It brings back memories we've never had and takes us to places we've never been to. But also to new realms, and open dimensions higher than ever where no one have reached before. The feeling of a community of people who all love the same song, all being together and relax in harmony calms our mind. The feeling of being embraced is rare in the modern day society, so it makes us joyful and delightful. Its a saddening fact that we may never see the day where we reach distant star and galaxies within our lifetime, but we dont have to see it to enjoy it. Nostalgic music can also bring a futuristic sense to us and it is just as great as watching space stuff. Everyday existential crises make us feel empty and confused. Nostalgic music make us think more and to feel more. That is what makes us alive.
I think we love this because we're searching for something that gives us the happy nostalgic feeling that you might get after watching a really good movie with a good ending like "Man, I feel good." It's like watching happy memories and seeing them in slow-mo. And this is deeper for those of us who wanted to experience certain things in life that we saw others have.
For a Stoner like me, this is a perfect setting. The mellow blue light with a "90's" touch, long bathroom corridors and sounds of song everywhere. I doubt that I would want to go back to the party

The tones of this song is made for that exact reason. The song is played to make the listener feel nostalgic. It does so by making an 80 move. It's build up like a regular 80's song, so people feel nostalgic, or feel like their missing something. Thats why
*Was playing Minecraft a few days ago and discovered something extraordinary, put this music on while your caving, particularly -Strip mining. quite a surreal/mesmerizing experience.*
This actually happened to me when i was high on some substances, i remember having my earphones on listening to Resonance and just sitting down on the toilet stall while regretting ever taking the substance.. But this song somehow made everything seem more MAGICAL because as i sat on the toilet stall i could swear that when i opened up my eyes i was in some futuristic cyberpunk dystopian future for like 10 seconds 😂
The answer is yes. Unless the other person is with someone else. Or is clearly rejecting you. Or if they are a nutcase and you've been ignoring the warning signs.
If any of you are wondering how to do this to other songs, the effect is called a “low-pass filter”. It does what it says on the can really, it filters all the high frequencies of the input signal and lets the low frequencies pass through, the quantity of which can be variable... Interesting enough; by the sounds of it, this is a low-pass filter with _resonance_ (a resonant RC filter, how fitting), which in technical terms means the capacitive/inductive reactance of the simulated circuit are both virtually equal in magnitude, cancelling each other out (they are vector opposites of one another). This basically amplifies the voltage output of the frequency band from the input signal equaling what’s known as the “resonant frequency” of the circuit, which depends on both the quantity of capacitive/inductive reactance in the circuit. This is why some low-passed parts in songs sound more warm or cold, because the simulated resonant frequency is variable along with the frequency cut-off due to the fact that the “cut-off” knob basically alters the resistance, and the “resonance” knob alters the level of inductance to provide an inductive reactance equal to the inductive capacitance. This is _also_ the meaning behind the name of the song, as a resonant condition can cause current overloading in AC circuits causing irreversible physical damage to components rated at much lower currents. You can simulate this yourself by maxing out the resonance parameter, it produces an ear-piercing sinusoidal tone of that particular resonant frequency. This can have a metaphorical use which I guess is entirely up to the listener to decide upon. The more you know!

I feel like Home - Resonance wouldn’t be the best party song. It’s more of a stay home-listen to song. You know... you play this bad boy and lay on your bed thinking how worthless and how unproductive your life is. Then go back on Social Media or back to your video game.
Never have i been so offended by something i 100% agree with
Damn, this is way too accurate my friend
I hope everything back home is alright

I hate how accurate this is lol
It would be more for a chill type of party where everyone is just relaxing getting high and shit
If I was at a party where this song was playing, I would automatically be scared. I feel like in the universe where parties play this song anything can happen.
you might be high

you make a really good point

you may be experiencing something known as saudade emotions, google it.
There's a really awesome video that breaks down the nostalgia of the song using music theory. Check it out just search home resonance nostalgia and I'm sure it will pop up
The future is both exciting and mysterious. Sometimes we have to tune back a little to find some comfort and warmth after exploring the world. Thats what makes nostalgia so nice
Thanks for having written this, I often can't find words for what I feel, but you just found em for me.

Thank you so much for introducing me to Resonance ❤
I think we love this because we're searching for something that gives us the happy nostalgic feeling that you might get after watching a really good movie with a good ending like "Man, I feel good." It's like watching happy memories and seeing them in slow-mo. And this is deeper for those of us who wanted to experience certain things in life that we saw others have.

The tones of this song is made for that exact reason. The song is played to make the listener feel nostalgic. It does so by making an 80 move. It's build up like a regular 80's song, so people feel nostalgic, or feel like their missing something. Thats why

This actually happened to me when i was high on some substances, i remember having my earphones on listening to Resonance and just sitting down on the toilet stall while regretting ever taking the substance..
Thank you for this comment, I was honestly curious

I swear bro Bathrooms during parties are like alternate dimensions. Normally, everything is loud with people constantly talking and then the music blasting all over the room. The moment you step into the bathroom, everything gets super chill. All you hear is the music and nothing more. It’s like a nice little reset from all the current craziness.
