A little question: who should apply OXYGEN PAX MASK MANUAL ON if PF is a captain and PM is a F/O? In one of the videos it was applied by PM but it looks strange, because this button is located overhead the captain who is in the role of PF.
It should be applied by the Pilot Monitoring as the PF is controlling the plane. Either the FO or Captain can be PF.
Capt, Please consider the topic of "FCU functionalities" for your up coming videos. ALT nob, SPD, HGD nob managed Vs auto, etc. Would like to get an idea. Thanks

Your presentation was updated in 2021 but the procedures have changed since the third quarter of 2019.There is no first step and second step anymore.

Hi Hp, the FCTM states first step is to apply memory items, and second step is to perform read and do procedure(ECAM or QRH) . The FCTM then went on to explain what needs to be done first step and during the second step, the PF should refine the settings. Am I missing anything out?
Captain, would you use the ECAM or the qrh for the emergency descent procedure after the memory items are complete?

Captain one more question. What is the uses of HIGH ALT Landing guarded PB? If that is for landing at aerodromes in higher elevation such as airports in hilly areas what will happen if pilots engage that button?
Good question Isuru, yes that's right it is an optional pushbutton installed for high altitude operations. Normally oxygen masks dropped when the CABIN PRESSURE exceeds 14000ft for passengers. If the pilot presses the pushbutton, the masks will only drop when the cabin pressure exceeds 16000ft.

Good questions. After performing the memory items. Meaning oxygen masks on and initiating descent, PF can call for ECAM actions. During the ECAM actions , PF will be having contact with ATC. PM will then be informing the cabin while the PF is monitoring the flight path and flying the aircraft.

It does on the top right corner of the FMA , either AP1 or AP2.
