I took a genetic test for a weight management doctor several months ago and found out I have XXX syndrome today. That explains a lot about my health history, although I do not display all of the symptoms that you mentioned.
I didn’t find out that I had Trisomy X until I took one of those ancestry DNA tests (I think it was 23&me) and then I also had it confirmed through a genetic screening done by my doctor. I have ADHD, learning disabilities, anxiety, and depression. I was also quite tall for my age as a kid and started puberty a bit on the earlier side, but not that abnormal. I also had delayed development of speech and motor skills. There’s not much information online about this genetic syndrome so thanks for posting this.
I have triosmy x and I’ve known since I was a child and I’ve been trying to find more people like me my whole life and it’s cool to m ow there more like me
After having a Trisomy 13 baby, that died, my husband & I were sent to a geneticist. I was diagnosed with Trisomy X Mosaic. I don't know if that's why I had the Trisomy 13 baby, or not. I've had a lot of health problems that were mentioned, even though I have Trisomy X in only 1% of my cells. I may also have chimerism because on my right side, all of my organs seem to be bad, but not my left side.
