Top Gear inspired GT4 Time Trial Honda NSX at Laguna Seca

Recently saw a re-run of the Top Gear episode, where Jeremy Clarkson played Gran Turismo 4 Laguna Seca race track to see, if playing a videogame can help in driving a race track in real life.
Wanted to see what would me my lap time without practising. I drove two laps twice. First with only D-pads, as seen in the episode, and another two laps using analog sticks, which I'm more gotten used to.
There was a bit confusing clips in the TV show, for example scenes between Gran Turismo mode and Arcade mode, so not absolutely sure what settings they used exactly, but tried to use as much same settings as far as I could find out.
Here's the settings I used:
- Gran Turismo 4 Platinum version on real Playstation 2 (fat console)
- Arcade mode, Time Trial
- Honda NSX Type R '02 in Monte Carlo Blue Pearl
- D-pads only on the controller (original Sony PS2 controller)
- Automatic transmission
- No driving aids
- Sports:Medium tyres
