What a fun experience you guys had. For as much as you guys tease one another, when the rubber meets the rocks, Josh is one hellofa team mate when it counts. After all these years, he has proven himself time after time. Congrats on the trophy as well. Deserved!! You'll never live it down about the 12yold girl beating you every year, though. Lol
It's all part of our schtick! He's a great friend and I was lucky to have him by my side. When I told my wife about coming in 5th she said "so I take it there were no little girls there this year?" 😂

Matt you did pretty OK with that crazy build. Josh is a good spotter. I'm sure you knew the leaf springs were a disadvantage. But you rocked on! Pun! Nicely done matt.

One thing i noticed that may help you out some on a truck with dig is to lock dig once you get your front tires up on an obstacle. Itll keep the truck from flipping over backwards while the front will continue to pull you forward.
"Driver" turns to passenger 😂😂😂 reminds me of my own driving!
The next time you want to go with leaf springs, I highly recommend looking at some real size Suzuki samurais! Real help!

Soo much fun. Man without a good spotter this would be 10 times harder. You really put that dog to use. A couple more time with the suck down winch may have helped. Overall fantastic job. Can’t wait to see the other videos. And congrats on best of show.

Hoho buddy that course is awesome. I didn’t realize that Colorado had red rock too, all of Vegas is surrounded by this stuff and shale. Always loved the performance of that rock’s grip surface, with the right setup you can climb to the moon.

I would be curious to see how you would do with a shackle reverse setup on the front of the F-Toy. That way on inclines the axles sucks up into the truck, instead of unloading. I know when I switched my build over it seemed to help on inclines, but I also made other changes at that same time so I cannot be sure...Anyways, great video as always my friend, and glad you were able to survive being berated by Josh at another comp, lol.
