RE is great until a landlord gets a nightmare tenant
@@5tyyu stocks are great until they crash... risk tolerance is what you need. If you pay cash for your property, you won't hurt as much, if you buy a class A property, your tenant will be better, if you screen the tenant heavily before, your risk is lower. RE is so complex that once you follow the rules, you can be rich and happy forever.
I just sold a property in Portland and I'm thinking to put the cash in stocks, I know everyone is saying its ripe enough, but Is this a good time to buy stocks? How long until a full recovery? How are other people in the same market raking in over $450k gains within months, I'm really just confused at this point.

True, initially I wasn't quite impressed with my gains, opposed to my previous performances, I was doing so badly, figured I needed to diverssify into better assets, I touched base with a portfolio-advisor and that same year, I pulled a net gain of 550k...that's like 7times more than I average on my own.

It's encouraging to see the market in the green, but when will we finally break even? I'm a typical retail trader who uses DCA to buy and hold stocks for decades, yet it seems like I'm up 5% today and down 17% the following week. Yes, the market is highly Darwinian; there are winners and losers, and it appears that I have been losing while others have made enormous returns of six figures in the same market. What tactics are these people employing?
So my strategy is to acquire companies that are succeeding and carrying out their strategies, and then short companies who are missing earnings.
@@Victoriataylor5668 we’ve been in a rally for the last decade, you just gotta accept not everyone is as knowledgeable in the market to handle the opportunities a crash market presents, and unfortunately for me too, I got in 2019 right before the market’s melting point, I just hope I recover soon enough before retirement. S`tay strong. I think the market will suffer more downtrends before full recovery, esp. with the inflation, hiked interest rate and looming recession bound to happen 2023, you should understand the market is not just finance and valuation, it’s history, it’s market psychology, it’s understanding how the world moves, which is why at this point in time, it’s ideal to work with an Investment-adviser with an unparalleled track record, from first hand experience, I could say they stand a better chance than most of us ever would and it has been reflecting on my portfolio. Do not give up. I came out of Prison in 2004 and make $85,000 as an oil hauler. I bought 2 homes and I'm working on buying a 3rd home.

Talked to my millionaire uncle (been investing in Vanguard funds for 30 years) last night and asked what advice he would give investors in today's market: "If you're a long-term investor, you should be buying stocks now. Ignore the recession news, it doesn't matter over the long-term."
People are almost always focused on the short term and never the long term. Yeah, market is brutal at the moment and it sucks for everyone, but the market always rebounds higher than it ever hit before. Cheap investments today bring better returns in the future.

I could care less how low we go because emotion and market timing kills. My primary concern is how to maximize my savings/retirement fund of about £300k which has been sitting duck since forever with zero to no gains.
Bull market riches are reserved for the investors who continue to buy stocks (individual, funds or ETFs) even while the market is collapsing around them. Being able to ignore the doomsday pessimism around the markets & not lose your sh*t is a pre-req to those future fortunes.
@@svengrot7943 Average bear markets last about 10 months. If you can’t get passed < a year without panicking, then you won’t make it as a long-term investor.
@@svengrot7943 I feel like nobody ever mentions the most important aspect of generational wealth building. You have to be able to protect your investment. Don’t buy it if you may, at some point, be forced to sell it. You HAVE to be able to exit on your terms.

There is more downside coming because current economic conditions can not and will not sustain any meaningful long term bull run for the near future. It's not me being bearish for the sake of being bearish. It's looking at the overall picture and there's really nothing overly positive going on right now.
For now i won't be holding rather just trade and earn those short term profits until the market gets stable again
Over time, the Crypto market has shown to be beneficial and rewarding, but it all relies on your investing strategy. If you invest incorrectly, you may wind up with losses, which no one wants.
We actually WANT a bit more of a retraction. Would allow us to burn more with less $$ invested and gives the retail investors a chance to both get in and get more.

I wonder how many recent buyers have over leveraged their finances to make a purchase anticipating a quick resale and profit. Will this lead to a series of bankruptcies if we slide into a recession next year, as some analysts are predicting.
I believe that the inflation is already priced in market since the end of last year. These manipulative rates are always 2 steps ahead of everybody because they are market makers, I hope I’m wrong and they won’t keep dumping it on retail investors as always. Those who hold the longest will profit the most, I trade and hold profits.
@@lisaollie4594 I agree with you and I believe that the secret to financial stability is having the right investment ideas to enable you earn more money, there is ALWAYS a way to make money in this market! While the market has not been set to easy mode recently, there are still nft to flip, solid coins to stake, IDOs to ape into, trades to make, yields to farm. Never stop hustling for those gains!

@@lisaollie4594 I'd say invest in good projects and DYOR if you don't understand, dollar cost average instead of going all in at once, so as to give you a good value for your money. Also i'd recommend seeking a fiduciary financial advisor who will guide, and show you the ropes as you are just starting out. I mean the likes of ’ Theresa Mary Chamblee' just like i did. she's seen dozens of market cycles over the past few decades, and she has a feel for how they move, why they move, and what comes next.

A friend advised i look into these Chinese stocks NIO and BIDU. Tesla stock dipped severally, resulting to about 23% drop in the shares value this month. I seriously need suggestions on how to diversify my $400k portfolio made up of volatile TSLA.

IMO, buy a revenu property... 3-4 door that makes 10% yr rev of your total cost ( ex:10k rev-100k purchase). Your down payment would be 20k (20% of cost and your ROI/ (return on invest. Would be higher than most stocks. ) Just my opinion... Unless of the rare case of market drop , which would affect your stocks anyway, realty is relatively "safe" with great returns.
Max out your Roth IRA account with S&P 500 ETF, I suggest VOO with vanguard for low fees... Hope this helps.

I agree with you. I had a senior colleague at work who was living well but never had an Investment, unfortunately his work was terminated,so he went from living well to surviving with his family.If he had invested when he was still working, he would have had another source of income.

I racked up in profits $558,405 from $185k capital in august last year to be exact on my portfolio using her trade signals. I watched a news interview on where she featured during an IPO and spoke proficiently, caught only her name and did a search later online. she's quite a genius in trading and portfolio diversification.

Amazing. You are absolutely correct. Put together a plan! I’m 50 this year. I sat down at 32 and figured out what I needed to invest with average returns to get to $1million. Then I read Grants book. The goals are much much bigger now and I’m building a legacy for my kids and grandkids. GC changed my life.

Maybe using local manufacturers in Auckland might be a good idea? You can always build strong relationships with locals and maybe there's an opportunity? Example, shipping from overseas is so slow, unreliable and expensive now that it makes sense being local.

You might be able to check with them if they know any manufacturers local to NZ, given that they supply tools. Then you could use Regal as a hypothetical referral to potentially working with them on some special watch designs. That's if you were to go local.

Etfs are the way to now. Index funds have expensive entry price and mutual funds have expensive management. Etfs cheapest way to get diversification
