@@Liryn Still the same concept. Even if you work at a job for $200k a year, that's a far cry from anything you can hope to make from passive income. So if tech is where you want to be, make sure you're developing an app, etc. where you OWN a tech company then investing that money. Not a bad idea to have other side hussles to bring in extra passive income as well.

@@Spladoinkal you can make a lot of money out of that amount. 200k a year is a lot, you can reinvest your money. Unless you own your soul to the devil. You keep going because of the adventure, the freedoms, the greatly increased ability to help others. Good luck, I've subscribed. A key ability you demonstrate is the willingness to be embarrassed and fail (even on camera in your case) but quickly pick up and try the next possibility. It's thrilling. I've done it a lot.

Not one single person has admitted they came from a line of wealth, everyone wants to be seen as “self made”…. From my personal experience being adjacent to this demographic, A LOT of these people were already wealthy to begin with. They went to the best schools, established the best networks early on and had exposure to these opportunities to excel in their career. Trust me, a lot more people already in the wealth pool keeping within the circle than you think. Kind of frustrating even wealthy people have a hard time admitting they weren’t self made. Not all, but most.

A share price is never low or high, it is what it is, what matters is whether it goes up or down from that point, I'm excited about the next bullrun as I'm buying as much as I can now, still words on the media says this crash has as much high-yielding possibilities as a bullrun, sure the risks are greater now, but they can be managed.

When he was speaking to the finance guy, it reminded me of something Chris Rock said years ago in the "Black In America" documentary. He mentioned that famous people (Mary J Blige, a rapper, etc.) and regular people (a dentist) lived in his building. The idea that a dentist could afford to live in the same building as superstar entertainers really struck me. The finance guy is another example. You don't have to be a business owner, or super famous, to make a ton of money.

Some of them are probably in debt up to their eyeballs. Living in a fancy house and/or driving a nice car are NOT necessarily indicative of wealth. Most Mercedes are bought on CREDIT (people with money don't need loans to buy s $70k car-we pay cash). Most wealthy people are frugal, not flashy. We prefer to have a large portfolio to a large house and an expensive car.
