It's nice to learn about stuff like this. I've tried to compose some barbershop pieces for myself and a few of my friends, but it rarely sounds good. Thanks Jason.

Hello! Great to see these videos! I think you are over-analyzing in the final chords though haha
The idea of it is basically one chord over all of those: B7
The first one is just a rootless B9, second is a rootless B9 with a #11, third is once again a rootless B9 with a 13, and then finally comes the B9 with the root in the bass. The idea of it is basically a static B7 chord with the extensions piling up (9, then #11, then 13) and then finally resting in the classic B9 voicing. You can check it by playing a low B in the bass over all of those chords.
Also, if you look at the begining of the bari line there (written as the lead part in the original arr), you’ll find the classic add on melody after a song ends haha
Like when Happy Birthday ends and someone sings “and many moreeeee”, ending on the 7th. It’s exactly the same thing here, but as a little extra tag lol
Hope this helps! Keep up the good work, big fan of the channel!!

Thanks for the extra input!! That long B dominant sound totally makes sense, I didn't even think about that, it's just a whole "aura" of B7 for the last few bars lol. Thanks for pointing that out! That's definitely how I'll think about it from now on

I have never heard that "and many more", could you give the name of the notes before the 7th too?
