Start by going out for a walk and find some green environment. A park full of trees, if you don't live near one, go to a shop with flowers/plants ♥🇬🇧. Then watch the Jane Fonda Level 1 low cardio walk and do it.
I've been doing this for 2 months and I lost 14 pounds. I'm shocked. Spiritually I gave my life to Christ but emotional trauma caught me off guard. I gained weight...way too much. Then menopause got me! But intermittent fasting has truly helped. I'm happy to find your page. You are awesome and admirable. God bless you.

Intermittent fasting changed my life too I am 68, no longer have pre-diabetes, high cholesterol or any other medical issues I start eating around 11am breakfast Around 4pm lunch/dinner Around 6pm organic apple & few organic prunes I walk 4-6km every day, swim & do stretches (yoga) My GP was so surprised, said to continue doing everything the way I am doing it, because it's obviously working ❤

I just found your channel, and I am totally inspired. At the age of 67, I went back to full time teaching because that is where I found my joy. However, at age 69, I do find that my energy is waning, and it is hard to keep that "school" schedule. I am also gaining weight, and I feel miserable. I am going to start jumping rope and stop eating at night. Your bathing suit video is my inspiration!

I am a 53 year old menopausal women who developed chronic fatigue syndrome at the age of 20. I was told there is no cure, and since 20 I have lived the life of a 90 year old women. Thank you, this is needed so much. 2 breast cancer diagnoses, a mastectomy, chemo, radiotherapy, empty nest syndrome, friends moving and passing away and retirement had my mind and body at a standstill. I am slowly changing my life, starting with getting up very early to feed my beloved feral cats, walk my dog and start my day with gratitude, green tea and now exercise. I need to eat more healthily and get more exercise, and I now finally have the time to take care of myself.

Now I know, that finiding you again is my wake-up call to start again for a healthier me! Im 40 and i dont wanna gain more weight! Already carry some extra😬. So its never too late, as long as you start and not only just planning in your head! You were right about the spark in your eyes in the old video compared it to this one! I'm 57 and have lost and kept off 15lb for 4 years combining a plant-based diet with IF (16/8.) It might not sound like a lot of weight to lose but, post menopause, nothing else worked and, although I was never technically overweight, my weight was creeping up towards the outer range of my healthy BMI. IF and plant-based eating brought it right back to where it should be and, crucially, it's stayed there and brought all my health numbers (BP and so on) into the normal to optimal range. I'm a convert for life! Thank you for being such an inspiration.

My inner guidance was leading me in the right direction however because I gained 25 lbs in the last year and I wanted to lose it as fast as possible I started following a very strict Intermittent fasting which has been stressing me out. I'm 54 just starting my midlife journey to wellness. When you described your previous self I can relate. I'm beginning better eating and intermittent fasting and herbal teas. I really want to lose at least 50 lbs and need to do more self care exercise which I just started. I'll be a year into the change in about 3 weeks and this last month has been such an anxious one. Things need to change.

I’ve ordered your book Gail & cannot wait to dive into it ! I just wish Sept 26th wasn’t so far off but I won’t wish the best months of the year away worrying about that now that I know you will be regularly posting on here. I am 61 this May & want to look & feel better not younger just the best that I can be into my proper “pre” old age age ! At the moment I have some nasty aches & pains that have set in so I’m taking your advice & re-starting my IF way of eating which I’ve done before with great success & great effects . I think I slowly stopped eating that way when I hit my target weight & felt that I had to accomplish so much to just stay in maintenance mode with no real gains ? I should’ve realised that the gains I achieved were being taken for granted & I could have my cake & eat it which of course is a journey to disaster without IF !! ….and who doesn’t love cake ?!! So I’m so pleased I’ve stumbled upon you because I’d love to get back on the wagon & start living my best life again. To be able to do anything, to not feel inflamed joints hurting & have a higher percentage of my bulging wardrobe available for me to wear because it fits me again which It certainly doesn’t at the moment ! I've been watching your posts for some while not entirely sure what to make of them but this video has won me over! I am turning 60 next month and definitely feel out of kilter. I have always struggled with my weight and with the long term stress of caring for elderly parents have become very anxious. I am also coming to terms with being an empty nester. I do eat very healthily but my exercise has dropped away to the bare minimum. Now is definitely a good time for me to tackle these issues. I will be tuning in regularly to hear more of your story and helpful tips.

I'm originally from Lebanon where we eat a typical Mediterranean diet - rich in legumes, lean protein, tons of fresh fruit and veggies and of course good quality olive oil. I was a professional ballet dancer and still dance but I mostly teach within the corps de ballet now . I've been lean for decades and then menopause came to town and left me piling on a colossal 25kg. This came as a huge shock and even though i have always led and still lead a very active lifestyle, I'd lose a few kg but I'd regain it. I became depressed as the extra weight made dancing and teaching so much for challenging. Fast forward 7 months, after doing IF 19-5 on weekdays and 16-8 at weekends or on special occasions so that i can enjoy get togethers with my family and friends. I lost the excess weight and am back to the same weight I was from the age of 17 until menopause tried to be the boss. I love the clarity and concentration it gives me and I am more active too. I have regained my confidence and am completely happy in my own skin. I had a heart transplant back in 2014 and during the surgery, my kidneys were damaged and I was diagnosed with stage 4b CKD (chronic kidney disease). IF has helped my renal profile - the toxins, particularly creatinine was much too high, along with my eGFR which was very low. These levels are back to stage 3a CKD and I know that's down to iF. The benefits of IF are amazing and it easily fits into my schedule and no foods are off limits (other than meat and alcohol). I commend you for sharing your photo with us, that was so brave, I'm not sure I could have done that. Your channel is very inspirational, i'm so glad to have found it. Sorry for the long comment. It’s funny how you ended with positively changing life. The pandemic Medicaid is over here in the US so I got disqualified from that free healthcare. Now my insurance on the platinum level is over $1200/month. Instead of my 1st reaction- I have to work more, get a side job! I decided to sell my excess stuff and sell art. I’m in a botanical drawing class to jump start the art. It’s a long journey but it needs to be done because someday the house must be cleared and sold. I’m making my way to manifesting that art studio surrounded by a small garden. I was a professional stone carver but didn’t have the confidence to carry on. The spiritual practice of yoga also really helped me grow up and shed resentments. Love your shine 🫶🏼

Not sure if it's hormonal but I feel like I have hit a wall, energy zapped, losing my motivation for exercise and things in general. Sleep is becoming worse and I just don't feel like myself. I am 68, no longer have pre-diabetes, high cholesterol or any other medical issues
I start eating around 11am breakfast
Around 4pm lunch/dinner
Around 6pm organic apple & few organic prunes
I walk 4-6km every day, swim & do stretches (yoga)
My GP was so surprised, said to continue doing everything the way I am doing it, because it's obviously working ❤

Just found you and know that you're the inspiration I've been solely looking for. I'm late 60's and diabetic and NEED to change my life! I've stagnated! And I'm committing all those terrible sins...eating late, not sleeping until early hours, then not being able to wake up until late 😢 missing the day/days, blood sugar up and down, back pain, leg pain, indigestion, arthritis, raised BP you name it...I've got it! I suffer from mild depression and have a clutter problem because I just can't get self-motivated....so I need you and your book! ❤

I just found your channel, and I am totally inspired. At the age of 67, I went back to full time teaching because that is where I found my joy. However, at age 69, I do find that my energy is waning, and it is hard to keep that "school" schedule. I am also gaining weight, and I feel miserable. I am going to start jumping rope and stop eating at night. Your bathing suit video is my inspiration!

I began a similar journey myself 2 years ago and lost 80 pounds using intermittent fasting and I've been improving other areas of my life largely alone and unguided as there hasn't been other role models to learn from in this area. Thank you, this is needed so much. 2 breast cancer diagnoses, a mastectomy, chemo, radiotherapy, empty nest syndrome, friends moving and passing away and retirement had my mind and body at a standstill. I am slowly changing my life, starting with getting up very early to feed my beloved feral cats, walk my dog and start my day with gratitude, green tea and now exercise. I need to eat more healthily and get more exercise, and I now finally have the time to take care of myself.

I'm 57 and have lost and kept off 15lb for 4 years combining a plant-based diet with IF (16/8.) It might not sound like a lot of weight to lose but, post menopause, nothing else worked and, although I was never technically overweight, my weight was creeping up towards the outer range of my healthy BMI. IF and plant-based eating brought it right back to where it should be and, crucially, it's stayed there and brought all my health numbers (BP and so on) into the normal to optimal range. I'm a convert for life! Thank you for being such an inspiration.

Beaucoup de gens saute le déjeuner et le dîner la semaine du moins car c’est plus fluide dans l’horaire . Mais c’est à toi de décider. Je jeûne tous les jours - sauf quand j’ai une activité importante comme un brunch en famille)- de 19:00 ou 20:00 jusqu’au lendemain 14:00 ou 15:00. Je casse mon jeûne avec un repas style déjeuner et je soupe avec ma famille à 18:00 ou 19:00. Voilà ! Je te conseille vraiment le livre Fast.Feast.Repeat de Gin Stephens . Elle démystifie beaucoup de choses …. Une question fondamentale : pourquoi tu jeûnes ? Ça deviendra ton levier !

There is so much I would like to say to you, your channel popped up just when I needed it. My inner guidance was leading me in the right direction however because I gained 25 lbs in the last year and I wanted to lose it as fast as possible I started following a very strict Intermittent fasting which has been stressing me out. I'm 54 just starting my midlife journey to wellness. When you described your previous self I can relate. I'm beginning better eating and intermittent fasting and herbal teas. I really want to lose at least 50 lbs and need to do more self care exercise which I just started. I'll be a year into the change in about 3 weeks and this last month has been such an anxious one. Things need to change.

I am 61 this May & want to look & feel better not younger just the best that I can be into my proper “pre” old age age !
At the moment I have some nasty aches & pains that have set in so I’m taking your advice & re-starting my IF way of eating which I’ve done before with great success & great effects . I think I slowly stopped eating that way when I hit my target weight & felt that I had to accomplish so much to just stay in maintenance mode with no real gains ?
I should’ve realised that the gains I achieved were being taken for granted & I could have my cake & eat it which of course is a journey to disaster without IF !!
….and who doesn’t love cake ?!!
So I’m so pleased I’ve stumbled upon you because I’d love to get back on the wagon & start living my best life again.
To be able to do anything, to not feel inflamed joints hurting & have a higher percentage of my bulging wardrobe available for me to wear because it fits me again which It certainly doesn’t at the moment !

I've been watching your posts for some while not entirely sure what to make of them but this video has won me over! I am turning 60 next month and definitely feel out of kilter. I have always struggled with my weight and with the long term stress of caring for elderly parents have become very anxious. I am also coming to terms with being an empty nester. I do eat very healthily but my exercise has dropped away to the bare minimum. Now is definitely a good time for me to tackle these issues. I will be tuning in regularly to hear more of your story and helpful tips.

I'm originally from Lebanon where we eat a typical Mediterranean diet - rich in legumes, lean protein, tons of fresh fruit and veggies and of course good quality olive oil. I was a professional ballet dancer and still dance but I mostly teach within the corps de ballet now . I've been lean for decades and then menopause came to town and left me piling on a colossal 25kg. This came as a huge shock and even though i have always led and still lead a very active lifestyle, I'd lose a few kg but I'd regain it. I became depressed as the extra weight made dancing and teaching so much for challenging.
Fast forward 7 months, after doing IF 19-5 on weekdays and 16-8 at weekends or on special occasions so that i can enjoy get togethers with my family and friends. I lost the excess weight and am back to the same weight I was from the age of 17 until menopause tried to be the boss. I love the clarity and concentration it gives me and I am more active too. I have regained my confidence and am completely happy in my own skin. I had a heart transplant back in 2014 and during the surgery, my kidneys were damaged and I was diagnosed with stage 4b CKD (chronic kidney disease). IF has helped my renal profile - the toxins, particularly creatinine was much too high, along with my eGFR which was very low. These levels are back to stage 3a CKD and I know that's down to iF. The benefits of IF are amazing and it easily fits into my schedule and no foods are off limits (other than meat and alcohol).
I commend you for sharing your photo with us, that was so brave, I'm not sure I could have done that. Your channel is very inspirational, i'm so glad to have found it. Sorry for the long comment. You have a new subscriber. 💕

It’s funny how you ended with positively changing life. The pandemic Medicaid is over here in the US so I got disqualified from that free healthcare. Now my insurance on the platinum level is over $1200/month. Instead of my 1st reaction- I have to work more, get a side job! I decided to sell my excess stuff and sell art. I’m in a botanical drawing class to jump start the art. It’s a long journey but it needs to be done because someday the house must be cleared and sold. I’m making my way to manifesting that art studio surrounded by a small garden. I was a professional stone carver but didn’t have the confidence to carry on. The spiritual practice of yoga also really helped me grow up and shed resentments. Love your shine 🫶🏼

You're an inspiration! I"m a 47 yr old perimenopausal woman . Like you, I have always enjoyed hiking and being outdoors, plus have a regular yoga and meditation practice. Not sure if it's hormonal but I feel like I have hit a wall, energy zapped, losing my motivation for exercise and things in general. Sleep is becoming worse and I just don't feel like myself.
