Having said that, my last stint at Dominos, I was working in a college town. 3 fellow drivers were Ph.D's. One was a psychiatrist who couldn't find work (and she was mentally unstable and woke... I hope she STILL isn't responsible for administering mental help) One was a Ph.D in theoretical mathematics (turns out with a degree like that, there are no jobs for you. You've got a thousand Ph.D's fighting for 10 jobs at the University, and the rest are spectacularly overqualified for positions that would rather hire an engineer anyway.) One was a Nuclear Physicist (In many areas of study, the University knowingly saturates the job pool by overenrolling in certain programs. At this University, there's Nuclear facilities nearby, so the University promotes it's Nuclear program so they can undermine the bargaining power of their graduates and hire for their Nuclear facility very very cheap... all at the expense of people who THOUGHT they would be able to get a job straight out of University. This guy was working full time at the Nuclear Facility... and still needed to work at Dominos as a driver to make ends meet.) I don't know if the movie intended to nail this aspect of the pizza delivery industry in a college town, but it's actually quite accurate. There were some VERY educated Delivery drivers, particularly in highly complex STEM fields (TOO complex as it turns out) and then the rest of them were potheads, hard drug addicts/dealers, ex-cons, and face-tattoos. Quite a diverse range actually.
For real if they wanted to do something funny after that just put a few quick clips of him delivering several more and maybe on the last stop the door opens and he sees some weird going on in the background

I deliver for Papa John's and believe me, if this happened to me, well, one, I would get fired for letting those girls get away with that. 2, If that happened to me, I'd call the police in a heartbeat. I'd do everything I could to avoid calling the police on those girls. 3, there is a policy about delivering pizzas. You're supposed to get the money from the customers before you hand over the pizzas.

Here's my rewritten scene for this: Bruce walks up to the door and knocks on it. Bruce: "Pizza guy!" 2 girls show up at the door. A party is going in the background. Girl 1: "Hi" Bruce: "That's $27.50." Girl 2: "Oh, no need to pay, we know Stanley. Has an account." Bruce: "Oh, right... Well... I'm gonna need to call Stan if he's ok with it. Do you mind?" Girl 1: "Yeah, I mind. See, Stan knows us and we're his best customers. Not to mention the fact that the Pizzas took forever... and they're cold." One girl opens the box and chucks a topping at Bruce to his face. Bruce starts to get slightly agitated. The girls give him a look of coy. Girl 2: "Whoops... sorry" The girls try to close the door but Bruce stops that. Bruce: "Um... I need that call please... Lol I can never imagine Mark Ruffalo here, his hulk started really good (in the first Avengers movie they represented him like the biggest threat) but later he became a joke. and regardless Edward Norton is a far better actor than ruffalo and his portrayal was really good. he portrayed a more violent, serious hulk, and his Bruce Banner was traumatized from his actions. it was a brilliant portrayal of Hulk in a double personality disorder style, as hulk's character was always meant to be. if this movie had just a better script we would have seen the full potential of Ed Norton's hulk

It could've been worse for the sorority girl... Imagine if it had been Tom Hardy Eddie Brock delivering the pizza for some reason, she does her usual BS thing like she did here, but then Eddie partially Venoms out like he did in that scene where he tells his neighbor to turn the noise down. That girl probably would've been scared & slammed the door, but Eddie would've fully turned into Venom & smashed the door open to get the money (would go so far as to grab her like he did that thug that tried to rob Mrs. Cheng again), but I doubt Eddie would let Venom eat her or anyone else present.
Everyone is saying that the scene of the girls is cringe, and I'm agree, but with better acting it would have been a great way of showing the frustration and stress Bruce has to deal with without even being able to retaliate

My brother was a young officer in the Navy with 3 small boys. He was delivering pizza in the evening to raise extra cash. Two squids ordered pizza and didn't know who the delivery guy was. They dissed him in a manner unbefitting our military servicemen. He handed them his drivers license and told them to read it. It had his rank. He told them they'ed be scrubbing shitty porcelain with their toothbrushes for the rest of their time in the Navy, called their commanding officer and made it happen.
The scene with the sorority makes me wish that, just after Bruce had the door slammed in his face and we see him walk off dejected, moments later there's a sudden pounding on the door, and the nasty girl laughingly jokes, "Hey girls, it must be that loser pizza guy, watch what I do to him this time!" But instead it turns out to be Jason from the "Friday The 13th" movies. We see him walk in with his trademark machete raised high, as we hear all the girls screaming in terror. Suddenly there's a flash of lightning and thunder, as a powerful gust of wind slams the front door shut. From then on, all we can see is glimpses of shadows until abruptly blood splatter across the window. >=D

Here's my rewritten scene for this:
Bruce walks up to the door and knocks on it.
Bruce: "Pizza guy!"
2 girls show up at the door. A party is going in the background.
Girl 1: "Hi"
Bruce: "That's $27.50."
Girl 2: "Oh, no need to pay, we know Stanley. Has an account."
Bruce: "Oh, right... Well... I'm gonna need to call Stan if he's ok with it. Do you mind?"
Girl 1: "Yeah, I mind. See, Stan knows us and we're his best customers. Not to mention the fact that the Pizzas took forever... and they're cold."
One girl opens the box and chucks a topping at Bruce to his face. Bruce starts to get slightly agitated. The girls give him a look of coy.
Girl 2: "Whoops... sorry"
The girls try to close the door but Bruce stops that.
Bruce: "Um... I need that call please... 'cause you're starting to make me angry... and you won't like me when I'm angry.
Girl 1: "Ugh, perv!"

Bruce shouts so loud, windows start breaking meters away. The sound system breaks and stops the party. The girls, guy in the back and the party goers all look at Bruce, frightened. Bruce's eyes are green and has veins popping outside his head and eyes. Bruce realizes what's he's done.
Bruce: "... Oh god. I'm sorry. I didn't mean to-"
Girl 2: "No, it's fine. You can have the call."
Bruce is led inside and finds a phone to call Stanley.
Bruce: "Hey Stanley. Can these two be led off the hook? I'll let them speak to you if it's ok."
Bruce looks around to see everyone keeping their distance from him.

Lol I can never imagine Mark Ruffalo here, his hulk started really good (in the first Avengers movie they represented him like the biggest threat) but later he became a joke. and regardless Edward Norton is a far better actor than ruffalo and his portrayal was really good. he portrayed a more violent, serious hulk, and his Bruce Banner was traumatized from his actions. it was a brilliant portrayal of Hulk in a double personality disorder style, as hulk's character was always meant to be. if this movie had just a better script we would have seen the full potential of Ed Norton's hulk

Imagine if it had been Tom Hardy Eddie Brock delivering the pizza for some reason, she does her usual BS thing like she did here, but then Eddie partially Venoms out like he did in that scene where he tells his neighbor to turn the noise down.
That girl probably would've been scared & slammed the door, but Eddie would've fully turned into Venom & smashed the door open to get the money (would go so far as to grab her like he did that thug that tried to rob Mrs. Cheng again), but I doubt Eddie would let Venom eat her or anyone else present.

My brother was a young officer in the Navy with 3 small boys. He was delivering pizza in the evening to raise extra cash. Two squids ordered pizza and didn't know who the delivery guy was. They dissed him in a manner unbefitting our military servicemen. He handed them his drivers license and told them to read it. It had his rank. He told them they'ed be scrubbing shitty porcelain with their toothbrushes for the rest of their time in the Navy, called their commanding officer and made it happen.

The scene with the sorority makes me wish that, just after Bruce had the door slammed in his face and we see him walk off dejected, moments later there's a sudden pounding on the door, and the nasty girl laughingly jokes, "Hey girls, it must be that loser pizza guy, watch what I do to him this time!" But instead it turns out to be Jason from the "Friday The 13th" movies. We see him walk in with his trademark machete raised high, as we hear all the girls screaming in terror. Suddenly there's a flash of lightning and thunder, as a powerful gust of wind slams the front door shut. From then on, all we can see is glimpses of shadows until abruptly blood splatter across the window. >=D
I applaud you, perfect ending! Those girls were rude to Banner, and he just left. Someone should have taught them girls that rudeness is not okay, but if Bruce's not gonna do it, then have Jason voorhees do it. 🤯👌
