On both sides 🗞️ work .. how much DiD stan Lee make on hulk... How much did Vick Vick make.. Hulk's mom praise God people not enemy religion ☯️☯️
It's a shame we didn't get to see Hurt as the Red Hulk. But alas, we will get to see Red Hulk (played by Harrison Ford) in 2025 in Captain America 4.
"You ever hear about saving something for a rainy day? Well, I think it's raining."
That is such a good line
Fake
Damn..they should reinstate this scene somehow - I can see the lead in to red hulk in CA4
Should have said "it's f***ing pouring."
PG13 movies get one f-bomb per movie. This would have been perfect.
When you realize abomination is talking to red hulk. Man, there was huge potential here.
Well now we got Harrison ford to carry on the name
And no-one watching this upon its initial release would have ever thought that an entire comic film franchise would be built with this as the foundation, let alone seeing both Tim Roth and Liv Tyler reprising their roles here. Looking back at this, I have to imagine the producers of this film have to be feeling the most profound sense of shame that they cut this essential material out of the theatrical release.
Now that _President_ Ross gets to become the Red Hulk, Betty Ross fans are going to feel like Hulking Out if she doesn't get to experience her own transformation into Red She-Hulk in CA:BNW.

the story lines on these older marvel movies are pretty good, compared to the new ones. It seemed like thats what youd imagine a conversation between high ranking officials would sound like.
Back when Marvel actually tried to tell stories
You're going a little too far with that statement here because this is only just their 2nd movie. That comment is better suited for at least a phase 2 film
@@MarvNARK Nah I'd say he's right. After Avengers, every Marvel movie just tried to be a joke with the exception of Russo Bros films like Winter Soldier. Although, even the Russos couldn't escape the excessive joking in their last two Avengers movies. I'd say all the Phase 1 movies pre-Avengers tried to be grounded and had a good balance between humour and drama.
I've never understood why scenes in action films that provide intellectual depth are excised, while mindless teenage violence is never edited.
because super hero movies are targeted at said teenagers.
sometimes movies like to show and not tell so and they also had to probably cut some minutes and not make it so long.
@@goodallj338yet the target audience end up preferring these scenes.
That is one huge reason I think Hulk 2003 is the best, due to the diolgue and story. It has action, but at the same time, diolgue dripping with emotional depth - like when David Banner recounts to Betty about when he was going to kill Bruce as a boy.
Plus, with a cast like Eric Bana, Jennifer Connely, Nick Nolte, and Sam Elliot, that's pretty hard to beat.
In this case the scene used conveyed the same information in a shorter period what is better for pacing.
When William hurt tells you to become a super soldier you become it no questions asked 💪🏾
But when your under the psychopathic hands of Thunderbolt Ross it's not a super soldier but a super slave.
I re-watched this movie after so long two weeks ago. This is definitely an underrated MCU movie. There were parts of the film that didn’t feel like a marvel movie to me! 😦🖤💚🖤
That’s cos it’s Not in the Disney plus family …
This was the Best hulk movie made!
@@emilyaustralis Spider-Man: Homecoming, Far From Home, and No Way Home are NOT on Disney+ either.
@@emilyaustralis it has nothing to do with that, it’s still part of Marvel Cinematic Universe and that’s what affects the feel
Let's not forget the first Hulk that Ang Lee directed with Eric Bana as Dr. Bruce Banner, Jennifer Connelly as Dr. Elizabeth Ross, Sam Elliott as General Thaddeus Ross, and Nick Nolte as Bruce's father David Banner.
Excellent scene between two amazing actors that really highlighted both character's intentions brilliantly, they shouldn't have cut this out as it did a great job in adding so depth to the story.
RIP William Hurt
This entire scene is gold, so much character development. Why would they ever cut it?!
It wasnt cut. I don't know why this says it's deleted.
It was in the movie, but it was trimmed so much that it barely made any sense.
@@ASMRMark What’s actually in the movie, provides us with minimal backstory and next to 0 character development on either character.
This scene in its entirety is huge for both of them as it adds context and depth to their character we otherwise never got to see. That’s why it says deleted.
You can see how pissed he is about his men getting f#@%ed by the government again and again. Reminds me of General Hummell from The Rock.
"The serum amplifies everything inside, so good becomes great; bad becomes worse."
"Nah I'm a fighter. I'll be one as long as I can."
Who then became a man of peace. Imagine the irony.
@@jonharper4478are you referring to Blonsky? Did he become a man of peace?
Man of peace and orgies lol
General Ross is a really cool dude. He is a villain, but he is not entirely despicable.
he makes a compelling argument for his actions even though he is the "villain"
He pursued an innocent man who did nothing wrong except try to live his best life
Exactly. This dude should be under a rock. Yet he ends up just rising further. Crazy.
In comic he become red hulk also enemies of hulk too
He’s not necessarily an actual true villain in this film/movie tho
This full scene should have been in the movie 100%
When a deleted scene is better than all fase 4 of Marvel
I still consider this to be the best hulk movie
Definitely the best standalone Hulk film. FAR better than the 2003 film with Eric Bana.
Indeed
Fantastic film. Best representation of the Hulk thus far
R.I.P William Hurt ❤
I'm missing you Mr. Hurt 😔😔😔 we love you General Ross
3:40 he should take that Colonel position instead of becoming a monster
Yea that was the smartest move
This scene would have done wonders to provide depth to Ross instead of typical “military bad guy”.
RIP William Hurt
Subjects Unstable:
Subjects like Red Skull
And the Hydra assassins & John Walker
Don't forget the Winter soldiers that Baron Zemo killed.
@@randyhughes8450 They are the Hydra assassins I mentioned.
Oh God so much character defining moments, strong performances were cut off. Why?? Bruce's suicide attempt, Ross' motives, Leonard's overprotectiveness, Bruce crying after feeling somewhat normal, university students interacting with disguised Bruce. Every single deleted scene deserved to be part of the main film.
This could've easily been the best MCU movie after Iron Man. Hell, if it was successful, Feige may have kept the dark thriller style of Hulk and Edward Norton probably would've stayed. He was more believable as an anxious, traumatized scientist constantly running from the Hulk. We could've gotten a more comic accurate She-Hulk instead of this weird abomination
Almost as if they cut all the good scenes on purpose.
Even something as simple as the flower Bruce uses for the antidote has more weight when it doesn't work.
That's the main problem with this film. All the intrigue in the story is virtually absent. It just goes through the motions. No wonder Edward Norton was so mad at Marvel. They didn't just reduce the depth in Bruce's character, they also removed any agency the rest of the characters had.
Marvel was concerned about THE INCREDIBLE HULK being another HULK situation. But what they ignored is that HULK had a very confusing tone and narrative. THE INCREDIBLE HULK (Norton's draft of the script) on the other hand had a more cohesive and focused narrative.
This movie was successful at its time when it released in 2008…I was in 2nd grade when it dropped. Numbers compared today make it look like a flop
Couldn’t agree more! This whole scene is sheer acting perfection!
It was never cut out.
I remember the cold storage cannister that Ross had the serum stored in was marked "Weapon + Program"...
Technically speaking Captain America was weapons +. I think he was designated weapon 0.
1:20 - 1:28 - Take THAT, Osprey, and RIP to any/all servicemembers who lost their lives in accidents associated with it
Even with the shortened cut in the movie, this whole scene perfectly tells you what kind of person Emil is. I love characters like him who, when in a fight, have like even the simplest of reasons 2 wany 2 just short of "Let's have a fight scene". If you look at every time he fights Hulk in this movie, it could easily be seen as rematches in a combat sport
Tim Roth was 46 at the time this movie was filmed...so Ross was pretty much right.
This as an MCU movie is completely different my key point out is the Soundtrack by Craig Armstrong he brought something extremely unique to an mcu soundtrack
To me, it felt like a Hollywood action blockbuster as opposed to the rest of Phase 1.
William Hurt masterclass
An example of the world wanting to make more captain americas when they don’t understand why it was given to Steve Rogers, a man with every health issue possible, instead of a highly praised soldier
Only men pure of heart deserve that kind of power
This deleted scene had so much character development and dramatic value to the story. It should have been kept in full.
Tim Roth in this role has to be the weirdest casting choice ever.
He was good though.
Why is it always the sheer brilliant scenes that properly explain things that wind up deleted! 🙄
Because you have to put something in the director's cut.
I love these scenes. Real talk
This is a pretty cool deleted scene
That soldier needs a haircut.
And a shave!
I remember hearing from soldiers you could always tell which soldiers were special forces because they had non-regulation haircuts. They were the only ones who could get away with it.

The tenor and tone of these early hulk movies are entirely different than what would come.
General ross actually make some good points
Some people don’t even recognize him from pulp fiction. XD
I do
"I understood that reference."
Nick Fury is also in Pulp Fiction.
That's because you see his face for 2 secs when he is on a sofa and he is not even credited for his tiny role ion Pulp Fiction.
I think you are getting Pulp Fiction confused with Reservoir Dogs.
Never forget when this got released on blu-ray. Watched it over and over again
So this man not only created Abomination, he poked the Hulk into coming out again, blamed the Avengers for destruction of everything everytime and yet the audacity of this man. Should've been killed by Hulk in one shot
General I remember a day like this for. The records, I'm only 45 years young,a young 45 yrs old please don't lie about my failure in the world of movies. I am HULK hear me roar 😅
Wtf are you rambling on about
General Ross will be back with a new actor in 2024
Harrison Ford will became the Red Hulk

Great scene, why did they cut it out of the film? Anyway best Hulk film for sure, too bad it didn't get a proper sequel and that they cut out Edward Norton, who's a great actor and the perfect Bruce Banner.
Two psychopaths. But this does help to explain that the serum they gave Blonsky made him more unstable.
Rest in peace Willam Hurt.
Blonsky is playing to Ross's ego here
The second Hulk film was far superior to the first Hulk film!
I love those rainy day serums, always come in handy.
The writing and quality of this Hulk was so much better than what they did with the character later
Great film this is the hulk we wanted in avengers

the blonsky doesn't look 45 he looks 50 yearold.
😂😂😂😂😂
General Ross is wrong. Bruce Banner's body isn't property of the United States Army despite that he created the Hulk by accident.
We miss all the cast of this movie.
My God, this scene is *perfect!* Why was it cut!?
This is going to play out in captain america brave new world 2:39 the serum general ross has been working on
this is still in the hbo max version i watched it not two long ago
This scene yes, but there are parts in this scene that were cut from the theatrical release which is shown fully here in this video.
I saw this film the first time I got HBO Max, and to me it felt like something different compared to other MCU movies.
2: 32 record ⏺️ that whole quote.. i bet😢
General ross aka red hulk
You could have at least got the haircuts right. And Tim Roth is a the oldest Captain in the Army. Please button your jacket Captain and shave.
Ross' uniform is incorrect. General officers don't wear branch insignia.
Ah yes, the “tremendously sensitive” security classification. 😂
This to me is the best part of the movie, not all the big actions scenes, how they justify their actions, and it seems believable too. You kinda believe them here, that their actions are right, problem is they don't seem to care about the possible and obvious collateral damage their actions will do. Their goals justify their actions and any possible unforeseen consequences. It was cut down, to allow for more CGI action time I imagine.
I miss when marvel was serious and wasnt constantly joking in every movie
Even notice how many military guys have good hair? 🤔
Captain Blonsky you are in need of a shave and button your jacket , or risk being reported for being out of uniform. That is an order soldier !🇺🇸
A Captain, Super soldier and a Part Hulk.
Wow
Love Time Roth in this movie. Much like The father in the 2003 film is the only really interesting part.
Blonsky was in the Royal Marines, "on loan" to Ross, but he wears American Army uniforms and ribbons. Geez.
Cause he was undercover. He starts wearing his uniform and people are going to start asking questions.
@@jonharper4478 Yeah, that's not how it works.
@@barfo281 Ordinarily you'd be correct. But this is Marvel and such things jave happened.
@@jonharper4478 Maybe. But, Ross was telling everyone Blonsky was a Brit on loan from UK. So it's not like it was some huge secret.
Older Modric on thumbnail.
Hurt would have been a hell of a Red Hulk
This stuff doesn’t happen anymore in Marvel. Two people talking seriously without 10 jokes or puns intermixed in the dialogue. Shame this movie didn’t do well enough to give Marvel the opportunity to expand on it.
This movie is still awesome to me
I love how a great deal of what happens in the MCU and even in the newly acquired Fox department stems from the work the SSR and Abraham Erskine did to create Captain America. The Super Soldier Serum combined with Vita-Rays makes Captain America. The same process but with a pieced together serum gives you Bucky and Isaiah Bradley along with all those other Super Soldiers from Civil War. If you can’t figure out the exact formula and use gamma rays you get the Hulk. Then you switch over to the Canadian Weapon X program and you get Wolverine, Deadpool, Sabretooth and X-23. In addition, I always felt that Erskine got the idea for the Super Soldier Serum from using Heart Shaped Herb from Wakanda. He might’ve found the active ingredient and created it artificially. The natural form makes Black Panthers and the artificial form makes super soldiers.
No the the heart shaped herb enhanced other abilities (hearing and smelling) that Steve and other supersoldiers didn't have.
Peace and freedom come through power. And violence.
Am I wrong...or do they, MARVEL..ADD all the deleted scenes, upon releasing the movie publicly??? Cause scenes like this 1...give more insight into the characters...their are no small roles
thanks
“ what im about to share with you is tremendously sensitive” and goes about talking loudly in an open hangar 🤣
You see anybody in that hangar? When a general tells you get the f out and expects privacy he's going to get it.
I laughed,he said people,he is not one of us...do you get why I laughed
This adds a lot of weight to what was shown in the theatrical version. Shouldn't have removed it.
There is only one General Ross and that was Sam Eliot. No one else could go toe-to-toe with a Hulk
Great....
@@StarWarsMoments Huh?
Glad they chopped that up
Some deleted scenes are way more meaningfull
Waiting for you to respond, I guessed it right.just like my dad's Christmas, ain't going to happen😢 at least you made me a crazy person...
This is not a deleted scene. It's in the movie.
it's haunting and inspiring. this scene was not cut for time. it was cut because it's 2 soldiers talking about hunting, capturing, and then torturing an American, and saying that American freedom and American prosperity and global stability stems from the fact that governments do stuff like this. Ross is a true believer and he can and will rationalize any atrocity in the name of protecting america. hes saying that he will hunt you to the ends of the earth and cut you to pieces to keep your country at its number 1 spot. the scene shows that on top of criticizing the military industrial complex in a way that Iron Man 2008 just didn't do. this scene should scare you. it is a simple reminder of the fact that so so so many of the things that soldiers do in war that win them medals, would get them the death penalty if their motivation was anything other than "I was following orders from my government." I wish they had kept this in the movie. but letting people stew on this for too long is an easy way to anger people.
Back when Marvel wasn't Disney. This movie still holds up today.
Sam Elliott General rose was better he was more jerk to banner then this ross
I'm older now let's re up on HULK s DNA testing
a multimillion dollar movie budget and they can't hire a minimum wage tech advisor to correct all those uniform mistakes??
1:00
Only saw each hulk once. The 2003 hulk and 2008 hulk.. Sam Elliott as Gen ross and Jennifer Connelly as Betty.. it was Eric bana as hulk and nick nolte as his dad in that story. This story seemed different. This was like tv w banner working someplace and not like tv and he’s faking his death. He’s alive w hiding from this gen Ross. This one like in helicopter and he says we all made this thing. Banner, Betty and general all made blonsky into abomination 👍
Movies really like to shit on military people don't they? Every person I've ever worked with from the army or military is not like this in the slightest. They're perfectly normal human beings who have a sense of duty to protection and tend to be disciplined. They're not war hungry monsters. I understand it's a movie and you need a villain, but good lord a bit of respect for people who put their lives on the line to keep us all safe from time to time wouldn't go a miss in Hollywood and Politics.
You are pretty delusional if you think soldiers can do no wrong
they shouldve kept this in
What is Ross talking about at 3:01…?? Alla keed??
R.I.P. WH. That said, I’m sure Harrison Ford will do a good job as Gen. Ross/Red Hulk. I still say they shoulda brought back Sam Elliot to reprise the role from ‘03 Hulk.
William Hurt would of been a great Sully from Uncharted
They did put the scene in the movie just took out most of the context .
