Thanks for this review/demo. It is one of the best on TH-cam for sure. You really show a lot of tones and styles and blending of the split and humbucker tones, clean, dirty, with effects, dry. You cover it all and in a very pleasant way. AND great playing and laid back presentation. Very cool. Subscribed.
I have the MTS model of this, and i love mine, one of my main gigging guitars, reliable, sounds amazing and the treble bleed is awesome. Highly recommend this guitar to anyone
I've got a SE Custom 24. I'm thinking this is better. Also, the way you lit this video really does justice to the finish. I've seen pictures online where the color is washed out but if I was going to buy one on looks alone, this is the video that would convince me to do so.
I have only been a Fender Stratocaster player since my entire guitar player experience started. I gravitated towards this guitar after seeing the marketing and thinking that if I didn't like it I would return it. It's amazing and I couldn't put it down. I wanted to not like PRS. I am a die hard American made Fender and Gibson man. I am converted. PRS is incredible. The sound of this guitar for the price is ridiculous. I won't even factor in the price because if you took SE off the headstock and sold it for twice the price it's worth every penny.🎸☠️🔊
Nice review. I'm also mostly a single coil tele/strat guy but looking for a relatively inexpensive guitar for some different hum bucker tones. Hard to find humbucker pickups I like that aren't too muddy and are still expressive but these seem like they do it very well!
Thanks so much! I do have an online store at leonardsrobert.gumroad.com This preset isn’t on there though. I will upload it soon so you can check it out! Thanks!
Just got mine. The action was pretty high when it arrived but it plays wonderfully. One thing I have problems with is the volume knobs. Volume cuts aggresiviley when you move the knobs, as opposed to gradually. So those knobs are more like mute buttons lol. Might swap those with log pots.
Not true. This is mahogany body with a maple cap, a mahogany neck with a rosewood fingerboard. For a guitar like this that all come in between 7 and 1/2 and 8 and 1/2 lb. This is very light. Much lighter than any Les Paul style guitar. My strats are all between six and a half and 7 and 1/2 lb. I don't think that your comment is accurate. By no means is this a boat anchor.
I'm actually using an Impulse Response from a Suhr cab with I believe Greenback speakers. Or V30's I'm not sure... Have fun with the DGT! I'm still amazed every time I pick it up! Did you get the goldtop as well?
This is such an epic guitar!
Thanks! I love it too! Here in the Netherlands they do pop up second hand every now and then.
Great playing and tone. Don't see many of these for second hand sale here in Scandinavia, which I guess means people seem to keep them.

Subscribed! Best review I've seen on TH-cam. Believe me, I watched everything on this PRS before I purchased it.
@@ronlee2611 Thanks so much! I’m happy you liked it!
This is probably the best review of this guitar I've seen (and I think I've seen like 20 😂). I'm definetely getting one of those. Great job!
@@4ndersonmenezes Wow dude, that means a lot!! Thanks! Have fun with the guitar!!

@@PetesGuitar2303 Right on! I have yet to use this on a gig, but I expect it to be great!
Very nice demo - I can understand why you’re intrigued by it. I’d love to hear how it translates in various mixes. Thanks for sharing!!

@@finishin.my.coffee8780 I tried a custom 24. Wasn’t very impressed. Out of the SE’s I played I feel like this is their supreme offering.
@@finishin.my.coffee8780 And thanks!

Thanks so much! I still love this guitar very much!
Fantastic Guitar

Oh wow, mine doesn't do that thing with the pots. Also, mine was set up very well but I suspect that the store I bought it from did that.
That’s a beauty.
@@fawkesandhound Thanks! I totally agree!
Weighs a Fricken TON!
@@rickhuepers5161 Wel actually it only weighs 3,2 kilo! A little bit over 7 lbs!

Didn’t Mike from American choppers played guitar ? lol
Haven’t you realized people won’t listen to any of you people talking up se models because they went and bought them and they are not worth it
