Douglas the key word is illegal immigrants we have no problem with legal immigration. Illegal means they are breaking the law.
This is very simple for my part. Anyone that has legitimate reasons to enter any country would not hide who they are nor enter illegally!
The prisons are full of these people who have committed all sorts of despicable crimes. If a stranger foreign or not knocked on your front door and wanted to come in nobody in their right mind would say in you come.

People won’t want to hear this but it is my lived experience.
I have literally worked with hundreds of young asylum seekers from all over the world in a social services children’s home. There was so many who claimed to be 16 on arrival but they were clearly quite a bit older. There were many instances of child abuse and underage pregnancies. And, with my hand on heart I can honestly say 80 percent of the young people (mostly men) were economic migrants who already had links to other migrants already living in the uk. When a young person had come from a country in conflict you knew it was so very very obvious. The immigrant-ion industry is now worth millions now, so many don’t want to give up their riches. 30 years ago interpreters £150 for a half hour session most often using the completely wrong dialects.

I can't see where he is trying to hide his opinions or goals.
