Do they ever talk about how Kratos used "Poseidon's Princess" to act as a temporary door stop (or lever stop) which ultimately ripped her to pieces? I feel that kill should be talked about more. At least Helios was a fighting combatant trying to stop Kratos, so him getting killed was not entirely unwarranted.

I love how much they respect the writing of old Kratos, not as a crazy killing machine but as a former general doing what he thought was right and eventually down the line letting his greif, pain, and lust for revenge cause the very same death and destruction to others as it did him.

  • @myspot8579

I love how even Tyr is annoyed by Helios

  • @temp-x8518

the fact that he was able to nearly break and or bend the bars while in Valhalla is insane since that cage was never meant to be broken/bent just shows how ridiculously strong kratos is.

Pretty much all of the gods killed in GoW3 were only ripped apart after they insulted Kratos further. Smart move from Hermes in particular with 2 broken legs and crawling away, only to taunt Kratos. Helios used his sun powers to try and blind or cook Kratos, forcing him to end it by ripping his head off. Hephastos could have lived but decided to become a boss fight instead, Hera chose to be drunk that day, Athena was cool with the vengeance until she changed her mind, etc etc.

I love how Helios is like “You killed me and tore my head off. I can be as fucking grouchy as I want!”

So basically, Kratos is going through therapy

  • @brahmantyoihsan5938

I laughed when Mimir said Kratos' technique (for beheading) has improved immeasurably; from a slow and agonizing dismemberment to a clean and swift execution. If that's not character development, then I don't know what is.

  • @Garrus1995

I’m happy they got Crispin Freeman back to voice Helios, even if it was pretty brief. Love hearing that dude show up in stuff.

  • @chadpeterson5698

Helios was definitely right about Ares. Especially since as bad as Kratos was in the past, Ares was much worse.

  • @gavinlamp5426

    Imagine if Atreus was here.

    “I know this…”

  • @filthyweeb5346

    "He is bitter isnt he?"

  • @MCHammerSmittyBacallJagerman

Are you kidding me those throw-backs to the Original Trilogy are incredible? I never would have expected something like that from the DLC

  • @xDeadlyWarriorX

Its so nice seeing Kratos treat others as friends and have this development... Really nice.

  • @lochnloaded6905

Love how kratos knew exactly what would happen! It screams how vengeful and hateful his former self was. Not caring about anything other than his vengeance.

  • @Baphelon

I really appreciate how Tyr comforts Kratos at the end. He made what seemed to be the best decision available to him at the time. Whether it was foolish or not in the long run is irrelevant, as in that moment he couldn't have possibly known, so he cannot be held at fault for it

  • @josecastillo115

Can we just take a moment to appreciate how the backgrounds are so faithful to the og games??

That Kratos respond to Helios request to say Hello basically mean he had developed, however slight, a sense of humor. Tyr really did a good job.

  • @darkranger116

Tyr catching Krato's fade with one hand and saying "alright, i think thats enough" is so badass
