It's cool to see that it calculates to something realistically fast. "Slightly faster than Usain Bolt" is just what I would imagine.

@@VV-ho8dg He's not exactly limited to human restrictions as he's a machine meant to surpass humans. It'd be what you call, "Downplay" as he was meant to be faster than elec-man who's as fast as lightning using his robotic parts as a basis.
In supplementary material, it's stated that Quick Man can outrun his own vision, thus explaining why he runs into walls during his boss fight.
That implies relativistic speeds, but since he is a robot his cameras may be delayed or just slow

Doesn't have to build up to that speed either. Can just immediately hop forward at that speed. Pretty scary if you think about it.

Just go back to the Robot Museum from MM7. Wily stole Guts Man and modified him to be a boss for one of the Wily Stages. If we can bring back MM1-MM11 Robot Masters whenever we want then why not do it again? Give Metal Man a Double Gear System. Give Flash Man the Speed Gear. Give Napalm Man the Power Gear. There’s so much potential here

Quick Man is, according to Power Fighters, the fastest Robot Master ever built. In that same duology (power fighters/power battle), Ninja Man and Slash Man move in tandem with or outpace Megaman's teleportation, which, in other instances, has reached other planets in seconds. This means Slash Man and Ninja Man are both significantly FTL, at the very least, and Quick Man upscales them to an unknown degree.
Speed gear Quickman? That would be cool. I would be down for the challenge. We need some harder MegaMan robot masters anyways!

Quick man's ability (speedgear) allows him to stop time. if you can move when time is stopped, then you're effectively moving at light speed.

Hed be holding back on our planet to avoid massive destruction. However, he has been shown able to turn into an asteroid. U could get ftl speeds from that. As well as rock reacting to lasers and beams of light quite often

No, that is not entirely true, in the comics of mega man he can go up to LIGHT SPEED. So somewhat true but I'm taking light speed
This is his in-game speed, not his lore speed.
Also, Archie comics tend to make characters a lot more OP than they actually are.
True, however if you search it up it is revealed that in the comics he can go up to FOUR TIMES THE SPEED OF LIGHT, revealed, which means that in the game, that wasn't his full potential. Also, isn't it kind of dumb that quick man, a guy for speed, is just as fast at around 30 miles. Although I'm probably wrong about this, thank you for sharing your thoughts on this

Something that needs to be factored here is that Usain Bolt has to build up that speed. Quickman does not.
I have to assume that Quickman can also build speed, which would mean he would need a greater distance than his room to do so. If this is true, then he should be able to travel even faster than this. Like ridiculously faster than this.
We can just measure how much ground Usain Bolt can cover in 1.1 seconds, compare that speed to his top speed, and we can find Quick-Man's Top Speed by knowing how much of a difference is there between Usain Bolt's starting speed and his top speed.
Quickman has a much faster top speed but doesn't have much room to accelerate and decelerate in that confined space. Quickman's start speed is zero but his ending speed is also zero. That means he would have to accelerate to 48mph in 0.55s and then de-accelerate back to zero in 0.55s. If he continued to accelerate at that rate for 0.685s he would reach 60mph. That is 4 times faster than a Tesla can reach 60mph. The fastest modified dragster can only do 60 in about 1s. Quickman's acceleration is quicker than any car or motorcycle in existence.

This does not factor in that Quickman slows his surroundings down. His ability to do this is an offshoot of Flashman's ability to freeze time. That is why Flashman's weapon does damage to Quickman.

Good calculate, bad logic. Pixels doesn't really show the true measurement I believe. There must be a default/standart speed for which Mega Man holding 1r (like c for light or M for soınd) then DWN.012 would have been ?r speed, it is kinda more accurate
I like the ath, but that's taking into account the liberty of game and design logic. It may look like that on screen but you can't officially confirm ever-changing fiction.

How fast is the speed gear can someone calculate it?
Since it’s depicted as everything else slowing down, you’d have to calculate the original speed of the object being compared, its need speed, and the factor of multiplication (2x, 4x, whatever).
