See? It's (Buster) Himan Brown's hand picked episodes for it's revival back in 1998 on public radio (somehow I missed it) and it would appear HE had some master tapes! Anyway, this is classic literature turned classic audio drama. Tell Heathcliff that this aired first in 1977. There was a B movie version in the early 1970's (NC-17) "Withering Penises."
