CBSRMT • "Premature Burial" • Himan Brown's Mystery Theater Revival • [remastered audio]

HORROR from Edgar Allen Poe starring 2001's Keir Dullea and produced by (Buster) Himan Brown. In 1998 he pulled out his stash of original tapes from CBS Radio Mystery Theater and they were re-broadcast. (I wish I knew where he put those tapes!) At least the AUDIO IS EXCELLENT, NO AM Radio static or thunderstorms, and no crummy commercials! He just called these shows Mystery Theater (these were re-aired on public left radio) and there's no E.G. Marshall to be found either.The story here resembles the original more than some of the of Brown adaptations. One thing for sure, getting buried when you ain't dead would really suck, and it would probably ruin your day! This first aired in 1975 then when (Buster) Himan Brown found "2001: A Space Odessey's" lost astronaut.
