According to my knowledge, we can plant plants that give shade. Our graveyards have trees.

Asalamu alaikum brothers and sisters please make Dua for my beloved uncle Nezam Baksh a father figure in my life. Please ask Allah to pardon his all his sins, pardon his debts, free him from the punishment of the grave, widen his grave and place him in the good side in barzack. Ya Raheem send your mercy on my uncle.

Can we plant, plants on graves. The story when the Prophet SAW places a branch on someone's grave to relieve them from the punishment of the grave. Is this permissible?

Regarding all black...why do ladies dress in all black to funerals that's copying Christians as well. I do get it's the colour. An uncle of mine hated it and always said at his funeral he didn't want it. When he passed away, I remember I wore blue.

Why the difference of opinions for women visiting the graves? Prophet Muhammad SAW clearly said that - before they were prohibited but now they can visit the graves. I am sure we all are aware of this hadith. Our teachers take us to the graveyard to teach us the etiquettes of visiting graves. Isn't it a sin to stop women from visiting the graves of their beloved son, daughters, parents, and husbands?

    More opinions than facts..
Do your own research or go to a righteous sheikh.

What did he say that was super hard to understand? He simply gave relevant examples that resonate with what is currently happening.
