This Sheikh hasn’t answered her question from an Islamic perspective nor has he disproven to the girl that the reason women wear hijab is because men cannot control themselves. If anything he has reinforced her opinion by claiming that women without hijab are inviting attention and that they are responsible for mens actions against them. He was extremely crass and crude, speaking in a way that quite frankly is embarrassing in front of other muslims, especially women in the audience. He could have spoken on men’s obligation to treat women with respect regardless of what they are wearing, he could have talked about how hijab is a sign of faith in Allah swt, he could have discussed that modesty is actually more empowering for the woman than dressing otherwise. This is a sensitive topic and he didn’t answer this question with any grace, rather she is probably more disgusted and rooted in her incorrect position after hearing his answer than before.
Bro or Sis if you don't comprehend his style please learn to seek other methods, he is using a more direct and attacking approach rather using an apologetic approach, he is using humans basics instincts to show the Hikmah of Purdah, these people are not seeking knowledge they are being derogatory and insulting, they will not understand otherwise
I felt the exact same way !!! A muslima saying something close to "even in my old age im aroused" would make her community tear her to shreds for saying something like that in front of men
Nobody should be forced to do anything they don't want to do. Because it does breed resentment and hijab is between each woman and Allah. It's nobody else's business. I'm not even Muslim and choose to cover my hair. Because I've matured enough to understand the importance of it. But imposing upon anybody Allah has given free will is crazy. He gave everyone free will and men do need to control themselves and be responsible for their actions. It's dangerous to me that anybody thinks they know better than the Most High when it's convenient. And I'm a modest woman. But nobody should presume they know better than Allah. He gave free will for good reason. He knows His creation.
You know when you smoke(short dresses) in public the non smokers(the men that are fighting themselves to lower their gaze/ modest women) also get affected. Also it is right it's everyone's free will to choose what path they follow. We cannot force modesty but it's natural to not like immodesty for a modest person. Somehow nowadays it's a crime to not applaud immodesty. Where's the free will then?
I have 3 sisters only 1 is wearing hijab and the other 2 want to follow in her footsteps We just tell them to take their time and one day they will do it
He gave you rattlesnakes to kiss and slippery cliffs to fall from too... he gave you not just free will but also a brain with the power of thought, the ability to understand consequences and then He sent down to you guidance in the Qur'an, if you read it and still choose foolishness then the consequences are earned not merely accidental.
well he is just a *dude* to you is he? Your brain probably moved whenever he mentioned g-string, and another thing, Hijab is a commandment of God for women and it is not a form of oppression since they have freedom to wear and not wear for their own reasons and the reason to wear as he *explicitly mentioned that women are a source of attraction to men and they themselves are too valuable as a being for their uniqueness come from their beauty therefore preserve your beauty for the people you love most* not show your beauty to everyone majority of which would probably go home and imagine you naked, you feel me
@@yuseph But why couldn't he add one simple point to the statement, which is that- Along with modest clothing from women's side, men should also keep their own sexual attraction at bay/out of the picture when it comes to other women? Is mentioning that one simple thought of equality that hard or is he just too arrogant to brush it off?
The true understanding of islam is sensible, we submit to Allah, we choose to be slave for our Creator, not becoming slave of our desire, not becoming slave of myself, others or anything else.
Because you have commitment issues. Hinduism is giving you so much “freedom” that you’re afraid you’ll lose it if you’re a Muslim. This world is temporary and we only have one life, sister. So choose wisely.
Well, if you're forced to wear it it is a form of oppression. I'm sure you'd agree that if you're forced to not wear it then that is oppression. Well it's the same thing.
Now, ask this to the Christian nuns; why are they covering their head? Don't they feel oppressed? Both muslim women and nuns are covering their heads, but why are only muslim women said to be oppressed? You see, this is double standard. Ever heard of obligation? Let's take traffic and road regulations for example. Does everyone like them? No. Does this mean these regulations are oppressing people? No. Because they are imposed for the safety of yourselves and others. You don't call them oppression, but obligation.
@@budokpantai well explained brother/sister. The double standards of the westerners will only be used for Muslims and Islamic countries. Whereas Islamic states have always been the most civilised. They won’t admit their own country is a 💩 where there’s no security of life, especially for women.
Yes true. And out of 57 Muslim countries only 4 enforce it by law. But tell me, are western women forced to wear shirts? Because if you don't wear a top you will be arrested. Are we oppressed? In other countries women can show their breasts, so we must be oppressed.
Covering body and being modest= oppressed Walking around naked like an ape= freedom and modern SUBHANALLAH!!! Everything Allah SWT command us to do is certainly for a reason including the hijabs not all of us i might say like or understand the wisdom behind it but it's not for us to decide what we like anyway! our duty to obey the creator and what he told us to do.
@@minestar2247 but they still put a veil on her head. is that not similar to the hijab? im sure she was even more modest, but christians have to show a little.
If you think that just because Mother Mary is your example of dress and that you have proven anything...then you should use something from farther back where men and women were always naked and that we should actually be dressed in the way God first made us. NAKED.
As’Salamu Alaikum, may Allah (Subhanahu wa Ta’ala) have Mercy on you, it’s best to blur exposing women like the women speaking in the video and thumbnail, there can be a lot of unmarried youths watching this video, remember this is an Islamic related video and we are ordered by Allah (Subhanahu wa Ta’ala) to lower our gaze, seek refugee from shaytan and your own nafs if thoughts starts, may Allah (Subhanahu wa Ta’ala) protect you.
The classic liberal argument “ should be done “. A girl should be respected regardless of what they wear. Yes we should but in real world this does not happen. Nothing should be stolen from my home regardless of whether I lock the door or not but in real life it does not happen. There is a big difference between What should be done and what happens in the real world.
you cant enforce the rule of respecting women to every man. Islam highly emphasizes this but there are bad apples everywhere, so for those, wear modest.
Again she said why should women cover up for weakness of men. And he just said thst men are weak and women should cover up to disattract attention. So, didnt he just prove her point. And talking about rape, girls are also being raped in pakistan and afghanistian. In pakistan no woman can walk alone for fee minutes on roads before being harassed and this is while she is wearing the burqa. So the women covering doesnt solve the problem as a woman in burqa can still be harassed. It is about time men should own up and take accountability.
You could say “hijab is so girls don’t attract men” but it would actually be more accurate to say “modest societies have multiple standards and obligations in place to ensure the maintenance of the moral character of society and discourage unlawful sex” It’s not just hijab it’s an entire system of modesty where men and women don’t free mix, no premarital relations and men are instructed to lower their gaze. In Islam it is never okay to harass a woman. You’re acting like Islam has one rule which is hijab that’s not true. When all people are following the deen to its fullest you get a country like Qatar with the lowest sexual assault rate in the world where women absolutely can walk the streets safe. And I know afghanis and Pakistanis to be good people and I think your comment about a woman being harassed in her burka after 5 mins outside is if not an exaggeration, an outright fabrication.
the main answer is because God said so. Both Quran and bible told the women to cover. If they still deny the command of God, surely they just don't want to follow God and only want to follow their desire.
Why should women cover up for the weakness of men? 1) To avoid unwanted attention. The same way someone shouldn't walk around a dodgy neighbourhood with an expensive watch for the weakness of a thief. It's preventative action. 2) God said so.
I swear the Man was very genuine in his words, he is very polite to the lady too, that is the Islam some people brand as Terror, he is saying my sister even thuogh she is young, Respect at it's peak!

Yeah how honest is it to bring up the most radically weird gospel writer of all the biblical texts as if that somehow supports the islamic view or how women in france get raped? Explain the entire subcontinent's rape problems then. Perhaps he gets to the beauty and honesty part in the next 5 minutes but i wont be sticking around to find out
@@jamesdolan3046 Don't worry man, all these so called 'Stupid Questions' according to these guys are gonna get deleted, it's happened twice with me already, they don't answer but rather they delete the question itself....
*Clement of Alexandria* ✝️ (2nd century CE Church Father) in his book “Pedagogues”: “We must avoid any irregularity in the type of garment we choose. We must also guard against all waywardness in our use of them. For instance, *it is not right for a woman to wear her dress up over her knees,* as the Laconian maidens are said to do, because *a woman should not expose any part of her body...* I should like, too, not only that it be *forbidden them to expose their ankle,* but also that *it be made obligatory for them to wear a veil over their face and a covering on their head.”* … “Further, the man and woman each must come to the church dressed becomingly, with an unaffected walk... *Let the woman observe this further practise: Except when she is home, SHE SHOULD BE COMPLETELY VEILED, for her appearance will be dignified only when she cannot be seen.* She will never fall into sin if she always keeps modesty before her eyes, and *RETAIN HER VEIL,* nor will she lure others into an occasion of sin by baring her face.”
We need to be accurate and not be carried by the wind in the direction in whichever it flows. 1 Cor 11 says a woman must hover her head "when she prayeth or propgesieth". That's the condition imposed by the verse, and there's a peremptory. Therefore, it goes without saying that a woman need not wear a veil all the time when she is in public. It applies only when she engages in specific activities: (a) praying, presumably in public; and (b) when making prophesies, again, presumably in public. But merely walking in public does not meet the states conditions
Thing is, I am a revert, and I figure, that the West has more than degraded women by placing them in advertizing, modelling so on and so forth and that we haven't called oppressing. Islamic world too is following the West with their women modelling acting and dressing like us and all. But at the same time, when I found out that I had to start with lowering my gaze and that was the duty laid upon me, I started wearing a baseball hat, that helped me avoid any undesired look altogether and have to say there that I've had to bump in men and an oncoming electric pole because of that, made few people laugh at that it's okay, still not as much as Trump did 😅

women are human beings not money or items 🤦♂️ but unfortunately you are right because muslim men see women as objects. however it doesn't matter if they are modest or not. at the end of the day, they'll always hate women.
Mohamed pbuh was a prophet, and this has been proven by science, there are dozens of videos on this subject. If you are convinced by what you believe in then these videos should not scare you
so will u carelessly wave around 100 dollar bills in public?
Best Explanation ever. We Miss Sheikh Ahmad Deedat very much.
No one can force anyone to follow Islam or wear hijab,
ISLAM IS A PRACTICAL AND TRUE RELIGION WHICH TEACHES THE WAY TO LEAD A LIFE, PLEASING AND WORSHIPING THE ALMIGHTY CREATOR IN THE WAY HIS BELOVED PROPHET (S.A.W.S)(PEACE BE UPON HIM) AND MESSENGER SHOWED AND IMPLEMENTED,
WE all will be judged by the Supreme and Almighty Creator, the one and only true God who has power and control over everything
May Allah bless him ❤
May Allah "SWT" forgive his shortcomings and grant him the highest level in Heaven. ❤❤❤

SubhanAllah I was thinking the exact same thing! What happened to lowering your gaze?
I felt the exact same way !!! A muslima saying something close to "even in my old age im aroused" would make her community tear her to shreds for saying something like that in front of men
@@SuperbCleaning-i9uhumans basic instinct is not rape. If u feel u can’t control yourself thats a you problem
@@SuperbCleaning-i9uthere’s no Hikmah in purda when the question has not been answered correctly!
I have 3 sisters only 1 is wearing hijab and the other 2 want to follow in her footsteps
We just tell them to take their time and one day they will do it
He gave you rattlesnakes to kiss and slippery cliffs to fall from too... he gave you not just free will but also a brain with the power of thought, the ability to understand consequences and then He sent down to you guidance in the Qur'an, if you read it and still choose foolishness then the consequences are earned not merely accidental.
We tell you every day take the hijaab as da'wah and protect our self the punishment.
Read the story of team of Saturday in quran a'raaf chapter.
Walking around naked is not permissible in Muslim societies. There is no freedom in Walkin around naked
Awesome to see this Lion of Islam again. May Allah grant him jannah
Alhamduillah very good but for one issue: BMW has nothing on Mercedes😉
Mercedes is more for luxury
BMW is more for speed
❤❤❤❤😂😂😂😂😂 Legend always. May ALLAH grant you Jannah firdaus
this dude completely answered all the questions not asked
He’s mentioning all the problems a hedonistic society like the west is creating.
Well he answered it in the beginning video
well he is just a *dude* to you is he?
May Allah grant him jannah
Oysters do not put pearls on display...
Funny thing is women aren’t oysters nor do they have pearls but i get ur point 😂
He left no crumbs whatsoever 😂
I am no great fan of Islam but this man spoke really sensibly...
The true understanding of islam is sensible, we submit to Allah, we choose to be slave for our Creator, not becoming slave of our desire, not becoming slave of myself, others or anything else.
you've got no reason not to be, you should be proud to see yourself joining such a beautiful community matter a fact !
its okay if you are not a fan now...sometimes thing we don't understand scare us a bit... research more and judge it again
Because you have commitment issues. Hinduism is giving you so much “freedom” that you’re afraid you’ll lose it if you’re a Muslim. This world is temporary and we only have one life, sister. So choose wisely.
Not a great fan? And the opinion is found based on
Masha Allah Legendary speech!! 🗿
Women are forced by the fashion industry to wear mini skirts and high heels destroying themselves… it’s an illusion of choice
Except they call it liberation
Yes true. And out of 57 Muslim countries only 4 enforce it by law.
But tell me, are western women forced to wear shirts? Because if you don't wear a top you will be arrested. Are we oppressed? In other countries women can show their breasts, so we must be oppressed.
There will never be one like Deedat
I hope so. Such a brainwashed individuum
Covering body and being modest= oppressed
Walking around naked like an ape= freedom and modern
SUBHANALLAH!!! Everything Allah SWT command us to do is certainly for a reason including the hijabs not all of us i might say like or understand the wisdom behind it but it's not for us to decide what we like anyway! our duty to obey the creator and what he told us to do.
WHAT - is Mother Mary wearing in every portrait all over Christaindom
well, the portraits are made by christians, who sadly hadn't seen her
so that's not an argument
@@minestar2247 but they still put a veil on her head. is that not similar to the hijab? im sure she was even more modest, but christians have to show a little.
She was a pious and pure woman. Modesty is part of pious woman, its not forced. Its visible. Same with mother mary
@@ibrahimzaheer6582 oh yeah, some portraits do show her with small veil
If you think that just because Mother Mary is your example of dress and that you have proven anything...then you should use something from farther back where men and women were always naked and that we should actually be dressed in the way God first made us. NAKED.
he was far ahead of the era in which he lived.
the moment I decided to wear the hijab whilst growing up in Europe as a muslim, I became free.
And get closer to God. Alhamdulillah
the legend of da'wah
Sister asked a very bad question
May Allah grant him jannah 🎉
As’Salamu Alaikum, may Allah (Subhanahu wa Ta’ala) have Mercy on you, it’s best to blur exposing women like the women speaking in the video and thumbnail, there can be a lot of unmarried youths watching this video, remember this is an Islamic related video and we are ordered by Allah (Subhanahu wa Ta’ala) to lower our gaze, seek refugee from shaytan and your own nafs if thoughts starts, may Allah (Subhanahu wa Ta’ala) protect you.
I agree blur out women who are talking in shaa Allah
May الله سبحانه وتعالى bless you shaikh. Aameen
May Allah give you the highest ranks in Jannah, Ameen
The classic liberal argument “ should be done “.
A girl should be respected regardless of what they wear.
Yes we should but in real world this does not happen. Nothing should be stolen from my home regardless of whether I lock the door or not but in real life it does not happen.
There is a big difference between What should be done and what happens in the real world.
you cant enforce the rule of respecting women to every man. Islam highly emphasizes this but there are bad apples everywhere, so for those, wear modest.
One of if not the best advocates for the ummah in my view,RIP
Again she said why should women cover up for weakness of men. And he just said thst men are weak and women should cover up to disattract attention. So, didnt he just prove her point.
And talking about rape, girls are also being raped in pakistan and afghanistian. In pakistan no woman can walk alone for fee minutes on roads before being harassed and this is while she is wearing the burqa. So the women covering doesnt solve the problem as a woman in burqa can still be harassed. It is about time men should own up and take accountability.
You could say “hijab is so girls don’t attract men” but it would actually be more accurate to say “modest societies have multiple standards and obligations in place to ensure the maintenance of the moral character of society and discourage unlawful sex”
It’s not just hijab it’s an entire system of modesty where men and women don’t free mix, no premarital relations and men are instructed to lower their gaze. In Islam it is never okay to harass a woman. You’re acting like Islam has one rule which is hijab that’s not true. When all people are following the deen to its fullest you get a country like Qatar with the lowest sexual assault rate in the world where women absolutely can walk the streets safe. And I know afghanis and Pakistanis to be good people and I think your comment about a woman being harassed in her burka after 5 mins outside is if not an exaggeration, an outright fabrication.
noueruz zaman ? Get well soon 😢
the main answer is because God said so. Both Quran and bible told the women to cover. If they still deny the command of God, surely they just don't want to follow God and only want to follow their desire.
feminist
Why should women cover up for the weakness of men?
1) To avoid unwanted attention. The same way someone shouldn't walk around a dodgy neighbourhood with an expensive watch for the weakness of a thief. It's preventative action.
2) God said so.
May Allah have mercy on his soul. Amin.

He's just being brutally honest!!! Have never seen anyone answer this controversial question soo beautifully and honestly!!👍🏻

MASHALLAH TABARK ALLAH
*Clement of Alexandria* ✝️ (2nd century CE Church Father) in his book “Pedagogues”:
“We must avoid any irregularity in the type of garment we choose. We must also guard against all waywardness in our use of them. For instance, *it is not right for a woman to wear her dress up over her knees,* as the Laconian maidens are said to do, because *a woman should not expose any part of her body...* I should like, too, not only that it be *forbidden them to expose their ankle,* but also that *it be made obligatory for them to wear a veil over their face and a covering on their head.”*
…
“Further, the man and woman each must come to the church dressed becomingly, with an unaffected walk...
Subhan Allah 😊
May Allah guide us forgive us 🤲..
What is his name?
May Allah SWT give peace to Sheikh ahmed deedaad
We need to be accurate and not be carried by the wind in the direction in whichever it flows. 1 Cor 11 says a woman must hover her head "when she prayeth or propgesieth". That's the condition imposed by the verse, and there's a peremptory. Therefore, it goes without saying that a woman need not wear a veil all the time when she is in public. It applies only when she engages in specific activities: (a) praying, presumably in public; and (b) when making prophesies, again, presumably in public. But merely walking in public does not meet the states conditions
He is more than genious🤗
Is this the Islamic stand comedy? 😅 No Disrespect BTW i love this man
Thing is, I am a revert, and I figure, that the West has more than degraded women by placing them in advertizing, modelling so on and so forth and that we haven't called oppressing.
