    I just bought these a few days ago. I have had trouble sleeping because of Tinnitus. I had been using a sound machine. The Bose Sleepbuds work great for me. I have been sleeping better and they do a good job of masking the Tinnitus. They stay in all night which is great as I am a side sleeper. Expensive for sure but worth it to me.

      These are no good for me, they are only just comfortable, I find they start to get a little uncomfortable at about 7hrs, I find the music does not block out close neighbourhood noise or highway noise and can sometimes keep me more awake. I may as well just set an external alarm because I would still hear it with the earbuds in anyway. Pointless, very expensive purchase for me! 🫤

      You will never be sorry. Best sleep of my life. One tip I can give you, they were uncomfortable for the first few nights. Probably because they were new to my ears. There was some pain but not horrible. Oddly I found using the largest tip solved the problem by keeping them just slightly less in my ear canal. They still didn't fall out and blocked noise wonderfully. Just hang in there for the first few days and stick with it until your ears adjust. They are indispensable! My sleep has transformed. You may not have any first discomfort but I want to tell everyone because they are worth it. Thanks for reading! 💤 😴

    No, no, no.. these are a waste of money. I was using gel ear plugs to sleep for the last few years and bought these on the basis of reviews. Firstly, they do not drown out noise unless you increase the volume of the white noise they create, which will wake you when you fall asleep. The white noise 'will' help with helping you fall asleep, as you can put a timer on this, but the discomfort of wearing them will wake you up when you roll over in bed. I have used cheap earbuds and the Calm app with white noise and while it wasn't perfect, it was as good as using these. Completely overpriced based on their purpose. I'd definitely call them a 'do not buy'.

    • @insidetechltd
      @insidetechltd  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I guess you could consider that a cheap alternative solution (and who knows, maybe some people would prefer it). But it's not the same experience as having the ambient noise directly in your ears. Nor would you have features like the alarm, and I think comfort would play a big part too!

  • @DR-gx2cb
    @DR-gx2cb 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

    I own both the Quieton's 3.1 as well as the Bose sleepbuds. I am a real consumer - this is not some fake review. At the beginning, the Quieton noise cancelling feature worked really well. The Quieton's are not as comfortable as Bose, but I forced myself to get used to them. Four months after I purchased the Quieton's, the sound cancelling feature stopped working making the product useless. After a long six week waiting period, Quieton replaced the earbuds. Guess what, four months later, the same thing happened the noise cancelling failed. Changing the foam earpieces did not do anything. Quieton refused to do anything saying their liability is limited to the cost of the earbuds. I was entitled to just this one replacement and they were not standing by their product. Tough luck. $300 out the window.
    Don't deal with this company. They have a problem with their product and they refuse to own up to it. Bose is now out of the business, but at least were great to deal with.

    I have the hardest time falling asleep and a sleep mask really helped me.. but I can't imagine sleeping in these, to make it worse they cost $400 in my country and have ZERO resale interest. That would make it a very-very-very expensive trial. =(

    I have these and love them. They mute smoring sounds nicely. I can faintly hear snoring if I happen to be awake but if I am asleep, the snoring no longer wakes me up. On the other hand, these block sounds from outside the room completely so if someone comes in the house for example, I won’t hear a thing so something to keep in mind. The sounds do not sound very realistic but they allow me to sleep which really is the point, isn’t it?

      @@tareq5853 personally I don’t think they’re worth $250. Overall they do the job but for my situation there’s some things I don’t like. For example, the ear tips. The mediums are too small to where they fall out at some point during the night. The large one are too big, when I make up in the morning my ears are sore. To correct this, I bought a new pillow that has holes in it for my ears and this has improved things.
      Like I mentioned before, I don’t think they’re worth $250. Luckily I got them brand new from someone off of Facebook marketplace for $120 so I don’t feel guilty purchasing them. If you went all in, with the pillow that has holes in it, I think you’d have a good experience.

    Hi there! I am very interested in trying these buds but I am worried the noise-canceling won't be as good? I am not quite interested in sounds in the library but just cancelling noise (my partner's snoring, so very close and not a neighbour upstairs). Is it as good as Bose's regular headphone's noise-cancelling? Or do you actually need to play something not to hear what's around you? Seems like comfort wouldn't be an issue :-) Thanks so much!

    I sleep with custom made plugs. Took a while to get used to, however it blocks all unwanted low decibel sounds. Louder noises just get muffled so is less likely to startle you (dog barks or fireworks for example). When in need of masking, I can turn on my Anker Wakey in combination with these plugs, and my Watch SE will wake me up on alarm/phonecall. Pretty happy with my current setup, so I won’t be considering the Sleepbuds 2. Maybe the Sleepbuds 3 can change that...?

    Does the lid on your case wiggle at all? Like is there some play in the sliding mechanism if you grab the lid and kind of jiggle it from side to side? Mine seems to have some play and I'm wondering if this is normal or if I have a faulty unit.

    • @insidetechltd
      @insidetechltd  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      A tiny amount yes - but that's normal. It needs to have a little play so that the mechanism is smooth, otherwise it would be too tight. Grabbing the case and shaking it (lid open) you can hear it rattle a bit - but not a large amount, it seems normal

    • @insidetechltd
      @insidetechltd  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      These are noise-masking, not noise cancelling. So they will block out noise depending on the volume you listen to the ambient sounds. So you need to be the sort of person who can fall asleep listening to ambient noises, because if you don't play any sounds then the earbuds probably won't block out much of the noise you describe.
      I think they would block out the noise you described at reasonable volume levels though!

    It would be a (no fair) comparison if it’s comparing with the bose quietcomfort earbuds but, if the noise cancelling was a priority to block out all sounds would it be better to go with the sleepbuds that focusses in sleeping or the quietcomfort bose earbuds? And by any chance, is the quietcomfort bpse earbuds comfortable to wear?

    • @insidetechltd
      @insidetechltd  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      100% Bose QuietComfort earbuds. They have active noise cancelling. The Sleepbuds do not. So it’s an easy choice.
      As for comfort, the QuietComfort earbuds are not quite as comfortable as the Sleepbuds, and you definitely couldn’t sleep with them. But they are comfortable enough to wear during the day for a few hours at a time

    • @holohulolo
      @holohulolo ปีที่แล้ว

      I think as far as comfort goes it would be such a huge difference. Bluetooth earbuds are generally larger than wire earbuds and I've used wired earbuds to sleep almost every night, and that's only because I got used to it and learn to position my pillow so the buds dont squeeze and hurt my ear. So something like quite comfort definitely isnt viable if you sleep on your side even ocassionally through the night because firstly you will have that rubbing noise when it runs on your pillow, this is not to be confused with the sound when your ears and face runs on the pillow. The sleepbuds are way more slim and comfortable. I honestly feel the main reason they couldnt just make it into normal bluetooth earbuds is because they couldnt make it that slim while having all those normal earbuds features and longer battery life. If there were a premium earbuds with a design as slim as this I wouldnt mind paying premium price for it.
      So when it really comes down to it, comfort is not even a question unless you just so happen to have an ear profile that coildnt quite get the right fit even with the 3 sizes. Anyway it's best to consider the sound, because I think the 2nd main value to it is the sound. I think it's really well designed for sleeping, really impressed with it, but then again it could be a preference thing, some people prefer some calming music, some people prefer natural nature sound. The sounds in these sleepbuds are more about creating white noise to help you sleep. You can listen to other ambient sounds online and then compare it with the samples from bose and you'll get what I mean.

      I can't speak for you personally, but this is exactly the type of thing the earbuds were designed for - so I think they will be good 👍🏼 As long as you listen to the ambient sounds at a high enough volume, then they will drown out someone snoring. Remember these are noise masking, not noise cancelling

      The whole point is to train your brain that when you put them in and hear your "sound" your brain goes to sleep. Believe me, they work! At first I was annoyed that I couldn't listen to my own music but now I'm really glad. Because I'm not distracted while wearing them to watch TH-cam videos and movies and stay awake. They do what they were intended. Solve insomnia. That's priceless.

    I have had the Amazfit ZenBuds for more than six months now. They cost $69 and do everything these Bose ones do. The ZenBuds also do sleep tracking. My only complain is that they are so comfortable, sometimes I forget to take them out in the morning.

      $69? do share where you can buy for $69. they are cheaper than Bose but still expensive for both. I have the Sleep buds and 1 of the earbuds fails to connect to the app 14 months on. I just got off a call with Bose support and they are happy to replace free of charge. Free trial and great after sales support from Bose.

    Disappointing that Bose have not made a noise cancelling option with the same design. They make good noise cancelling otherwise. Definately not buying as long as the noise masking sounds are the method.

    • @insidetechltd

      I expect this would compromise the small/comfortable design and would require a much bigger earbud

      They said it was a safety issue. Such as they should muffle some noises but not such things as you smoke alarm or security alarm. Some noises you should hear while sleeping. Makes sense.
      Honestly they have transformed my sleep. Solved my insomnia and that's priceless. They block a lot of sound actually. Any sound loud enough to wake me up through them is usually very loud. Love the built in alarm that only I can hear.

    • @insidetechltd
      @insidetechltd  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I think the safety issue is a completely valid point - but I also think they would an offer an ANC option if it was possible to maintain the small design.
      Still, I know the current Sleepbuds II are ideal as they are for some people!
