    Hi there, excellent review, I’ve been using these for a week and have to say they are absolutely brilliant! Yes, they are expensive but worth every cent to me as they have helped me sleep through the night for the first time in very long time. I do agree re some of the sounds being repetitive, I find Cascade and Warm Static to be the best for me. Cheers 😊

      Awesome!!! Those are my two favorites too!!! Do you wake up in the middle of the night and take them out? I've definitely had a hard time getting used to them but they are a genius product and I'm glad I invested in them too. Thanks for letting me know what you think!!! Sleep good! 😴💤

      @@NickBorsellino I keep them in all night as I’m a very light sleeper and my wife snores, these do a great job at masking out the noise. I find them very comfortable, I hardly even notice them in my ears. I used to use silicon ear buds but they hurt my ears terribly. The Bose sleep buds have been a godsend to me, I seriously can’t fault them at all. Cheers.

      Well, I can still hear some noises, it doesn't block everything out. But it does a really good job of making the noises LESS annoying. And it introduces sounds in your ears so it helps to mask the outside noises. For instance. The bathroom door is just outside my bedroom. I can still hear someone go in the bathroom and close the door. I might hear light footsteps, but I don't hear them using the bathroom, just the door. And it's faint. I hope this helps :) Check out my review of the Amazfit Zenbuds. I purchased them after I did this review and I like them even more than the BOSE and they are cheaper! th-cam.com/video/VbFm4NSmYzM/w-d-xo.html And here's a comparison video of the Amazfit Zenbuds VS the BOSE Sleepbuds 2 th-cam.com/video/WUstubOJoxs/w-d-xo.html

      I really like the amazfit better. I did a comparison video that I uploaded but haven't made public yet! You can be one of the first to see it! th-cam.com/video/WUstubOJoxs/w-d-xo.html
      I personally like the amazfit better now that I've owned both. I wouldn't say they eliminate all noise but they drop it significantly. What's great about Amazon is if you buy something you can try it and return it if you don't like it. I got the amazfit for 20% off which made them totally worth it. If you use my links to Amazon i can get a small commission which helps out the channel. Thanks for the question and I hope one of them works for you!!

    • @NickBorsellino
      @NickBorsellino  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      No, your phone will not ring through. The only sounds it will play are the noises and alarm built into the Bose app. If you have a loud ringtone you can probably hear it lightly through the sleepbuds as they don't block out 100% of outside noises

    These are a waste of money. I was using gel ear plugs to sleep for the last few years and bought these on the basis of reviews. Firstly, they do not drown out noise unless you increase the volume of the white noise they create, which will wake you when you fall asleep. The white noise 'will' help with helping you fall asleep, as you can put a timer on this, but the discomfort of wearing them will wake you up when you roll over in bed. I have used cheap earbuds and the Calm app with white noise and while it wasn't perfect, it was as good as using these. Completely overpriced based on their purpose. I'd definitely call them a 'do not buy'.

    • @NickBorsellino
      @NickBorsellino  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks for your feedback! I'd love to know what these gel earplugs that work for you are? I agree about turning up the white noise to drown out noise completely, but I've found I just need it loud enough to hear and the earplugs themselves cut out a lot of the noise. Yes, they are very expensive for what you get, and I'm sure a lot of that is for the BOSE name. However, I have really been enjoying them now that I've gotten used to them. I tried foam earplugs in the past and they were uncomfortable and seemed to amplify the noise inside my head somehow so for me, these are a big improvement. Not perfect, but the only perfect solution would be no outside noises (other people in my house sleeping the exact same time as me)

      @onebodytherapy4194 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@NickBorsellino Hey Nick, I suppose its contextual. I'm comparing the experience to cheap gel ear plugs and its no superior. I'm not comparing to any other earbuds. Paying big for a brand or reputation is poor value when you get a mediocre experience. I have the Quite Comfort Noise cancelling headphones and they are worth every penny. Here's the link to the cheap plugs I normally use. Thanks for the reply

    For sleep do you recommend these buds or noise canceling headphones?

    • @NickBorsellino
      @NickBorsellino  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I'm not sure exactly what will cut out that loud of a noise. I'm sure you can feel that in the house too, not just hear it. The noise cancelling earbuds by QuietOn do a better job of eliminating noise. The noise masking that the BOSE does just cover up noises and have only minimal noise blocking

      Thanks for the update. I didn’t know they stopped since I never looked to replace mine. Those second gen sleep buds sucked. Now the first gen, fantastic. I had been using them for a few years and they were more reliable than the second gen. Either way, in the end it was a disappointment since they didn’t last long. I had two pairs of the first gen and two of the second gen. If they made the smaller first gen again, I would spend my money. Again, thanks for the update.
