Doing great on your first rides! Your board cuts off because you aren't maintaining enough foot pressure on both halves of the front sensor pad. When you slow down to 1mph if you don't have weight on both halves of the front pad, your board will cut off. The new Flat Kick pads make it much easier to keep the front sensor pad engaged. Maybe something to consider. The fact that you can ride goofy at all on your first rides is awesome!! Thanks for sharing your experience. Enjoy the rides!
Good work, it's tricky but so worth it. Once you get more comfortable and confident it really becomes enjoyable. I'm still learning but starting to actually enjoy it now. Good luck🤘
Your front foot is too far off the front of the board which is why the sensor was disengaging. Also trust me, TRUST ME, get a helmet. Your head WILL meet the ground a couple hundred miles in and then you will respect push back. But you don't know what I mean yet.
Would you consider owning a Onewheel ? #OneWheel
Yes. I own 2 at 67 years of age. Rode 27 miles day before yesterday! I just retired an Onewheeling is my favorite outdoor activity!
