This guy helped me fly my one wheel pint, thanks for sending me the info via email. The main thing that helped was showing the specs at the bottom of the board be because they need visual proof showing it’s 148W and not over 160W
@@Junipersecrets Just talk to the ticketing agent, make sure to get verbal approval from them and be ready to show them TSA approval (send a tweet to @asktsa, I think that's the right handle, giving them a high level overview of the Pint's battery specs; they should reply that you are golden as long as you get airline approval). Again, it is up to airline and depending on the ticketing agent they may not allow it. Once in MIA, I just carried the Pint along the hallways, wasn't brave enough to hop on it inside the terminal; that could get you (and all of the OW community) in trouble. Good luck!
Thanks for your info. I have successfully checked my pint on my international flight from Los Angeles to China (China Eastern Airline). I basically said it is used for filming and video recording and I showed the guy the 147 Watts battery rating and he said it's fine.
American Airlines allowed us to take it from Phoenix to Chicago, but they would not allow us to bring it back. It is stuck in Chicago. I even got permission before flying to be able to take it, but the airport personnel would not give way. Anyone know the best way to mail it back and how much it will cost?
Has anyone had luck flying internationally? Going from LAX to Guadalajara, Mexico and I REALLY want to take my Pint to leave over there, so no coming back. I was just told by Alaska Airlines that it was not authorized to fly even after stating it's 148 wh and NMC battery powered. I just emailed TSA hopefully get some luck.
Just emailed you thanks man awesome vid 👍 Hey watchncarry i loved your video I was wondering if you could give me the document that you showed in the video I’m going to try and use it for my Onewheel thanks buddy 👍
I am desperately trying to find your pint documents, I’m in the Onewheel riders group and have searched high and low and can’t find it anywhere. I also sent you an email at the address provided in the description.
Curious about that too. The popular onewheel youtuber, John D. Dyer, has taken his Plus and EGO extended batteries to Australia without any problems. Not sure what airline hes used.
Same. I live in Oaxaca, MX at the moment, and shipped my Onewheel to NY, so I can pick it up over Thanksgiving. This info was very useful. Appreciate it. Mexico customs is super strict, but I never usually have any issues, so I'll update in a few weeks.
@@EduardoRamirez-ny6fw It worked out. I carried the Pint on the plane, I took Delta. Once I landed in Mexico City, I had to check the Pint, they refused to let me carry it on the flight, due to is "density"

watchNcarry what about if I put the board with the wheel in my suitcase and I take only the battery with my in my carry bag? Could security after inside airport break my lock and check and confíscate it? Since all monowheel aren’t allow? Then I get home and... surprise!!! 🤭
@@carlos-km3wq thatsba good question. Honestly im not sure. I would contact your airline to find out. Ive never flown that way. I always carry on my board with battery onto the plane
watchNcarry thanks! You traveled with your OW then. In USA or also abroad? I am travelling from Switzerland to Perú which has 3 security scans in Zurich, Amsterdam, Perú inside the airport, if one of them say that the scan can’t see what is inside the wheel then fuck up meee
@@naorjun that sucks. But youre not alone. This is the 5th jet blue denial ove heard, along with 4 United Airlines denials too. It's too bad the different airlines cant be in line with the FAA/TSA (who deems any nonmodified Plus and Pint as flight-safe). Hopefully will change in the near future.
watchNcarry it is probably more than that not every one talking about it. I think it will change with time. But now is a special time to have it, we are the first ones :)
took my XR to FedEx in the original shipping box from FM... got rejected..showed all original paper work...said they will accept new , but will not ship used??? Do I have to buy a PINT now to TRAVEL??

This is some pretty great information and resources. Thanks for posting this!
I sent you an email requesting the documents. Thank you very much for putting this together. Much appreciated.
Just emailed you. Let me know if you don't get it
@@watchncarry9593 Got them. Thanks a lot.
No issues from DFW to CTG (via MIA) on AA. I did not deflate the wheel or put the Pint in a bag.
Thanks for sharing
Ricardo Ortiz Reyes awesome. Thanks. I was going to bring my usual two carry-ons. What was your situation? Also will be flying AA and through MIA.

Very useful information. Thanks for all your hard work on this. It's greatly appreciated.
No problem. Happy to help
Can you remove the battery.. and pre-arrange to pickup yours at your destination???

JetBlue not taking it ☝🏻
Sorry to hear that, but thanks for sharing. Did they tell you over the phone or at the gate that you couldnt bring your Pint?
