Great video! Most vids I've seen were from "pros". It was cool to get a relatable video from a regular dude with no experience such as myself. A few buddies of mine ride onewheels and convinced me to join the crew. This video gives me confidence that I'll be shredding with them sooner before later!

Brother I finally broke down about a month ago as well. Purchased the pint x and by far the best investment ever. I can't ride it to work cause I work way to far from home but the GT will definitely be in my future. To all new Onewheel investors, yes its a huge learning curve but that's what makes it fun. Learning something new or something you have never done. If your on the fence.... do it you will not regret it! Be safe shedding my friends and always wear the helmet!
I don’t comment often but have to do that with your video. Well done, it is extremely nice to see how excited you are being new to the OW community. After having mine for 13 months now, having ridden more than 3330km (as of today) I still feel the same every time. Great video and very well made. Most important thing for me: if you fall no matter how hard the fall was, get back on and use it again immediately. Otherwise I feel it’s difficult to overcome the fear (had 3 hard falls within the first 9 months).
thank you dude, first time doing a video like this took me a lot of time. yeah i fully think if you fall you need to go back up the anxiety will built up more otherwise. great point !!!
Had my PintX since December 21…done over 300 miles, commute on it mostly & love it! It wasn’t instant love though I found it too hard, not to balance but to enjoy also foot fatigue making it uncomfortable. Two things that made a huge difference, different grip tape but even bigger, let some air out…there’s a sweet spot…I’ve gone over some serious pot holes & survived! Enjoy people, they are worth it! ;)
I took a bad spill on mine today. I’m terrified of breaking my collarbone like most do but I’m still riding tomorrow. Take in mind, my shoulder is in pain but I just love my Onewheel so much.
Love this review! As a guy around your size and fellow one wheel rider, it’s good to see others like me in the community. It can be fun for a ton of people!
I'm in the same boat (size wise) and really want the PintX but keep being told that I need the GT. I'm glad to see others my size opting for the PintX. After seeing this video, I'm definitely joining the PintX team!
I was 283 lbs on the OG pint and had a blast! I then upgraded to the X in March and doubled the fun with a friend since I had my old pint as a loaner! Sadly in May I ran into financial problems and sold both boards... But as of November 4th I lost 20 lbs and I was able to purchase a brand new XR (crazy right?) and man! Feels good to be back on one. Yesterday I peeped FMs website and saw the GT on sale for Black Friday and snagged that! These boards really help alleviate stress and I was ecstatic to see you (another big dude like myself) riding! 😎👍

Pint X is brave purchase for a 1st board. The nosedives are more sudden and violent, the bumps are bumpier and the board gets manipulated easily by terrain. That being said 20k miles later on every Onewheel starting with the OG v1 in 2018 and the OG pint. Having that boxy Vega is the best option for noobs in my opinion because most people are falling forward and backward, not nosediving. That comes later 😂
