You might think that because the RedTail Hammock is so inexpensive it's too heavy for backpacking or doesn't have what you need "out of the box". So, I spent 2 nights on the Pinchot Trail System here in northeastern Pennsylvania in my own RedTail. I have been looking at getting into hammock camping. Don’t know if I could use the red tail or have to go with the coyote pack. I am 5’-10” and 240. Don’t know if I could use the 58 inch as opposed to the 71. Let me know your thoughts. Thanks

Kurt is that a #5 zipper or #3? I prefer the 5

I use #3, same as the CoyotePack but I might be getting some #5 for something else I've been working on.
