How about separated D-pad buttons instead of one big button. It's better for fighting games and no one did on the duelsense. It exists only for DS4 at the moment.
I was thinking about getting the PS5 pad.... but I'm a fighting game player and I literally have to replace the silicone for the Dpad every month or so.... and this looks like around 4x the pain in the ass as doing it for a PS4 pad... So I'll stick with PS4 ;D Edit: I wrote this before finishing the video.... I'm gonna change the 4x pain in the ass to around 7x pain in the ass.... LOL I do NOT wanna have to do this monthly.

Thanks i mostly did this to change the rubber plating under the D pad and the. buttons because i hate that mushy feel of the duelsense while playing fighting games.. although my dualsense is a slightly different model where u remove the motherboard "like so" well if i didn't look i probably would of broke those tabs. It was a long journey but i made it back controller feels better again thanks for the vid
My left direction on dpad doesn't seem to be working. I've definitely slipped something out but can't work out what's connected to it. Do you know which cable this might be?
Might seem like a stupid question, but could you not keep the board and ribbon cables plugged in, and still unscrew the longer silver screws to access the shape & D-pad? Seems a bit long winded to have to completely disconnect the ribbons if the entire board unit comes out as a single piece. TIA!
can someone help me i know the ps4 face buttons will work on ps5 controller with soem modding, but with the directional pad (d Pad) be able to be used on ps5 controller... thankks!
After I disassembled and assembled my controller, the right side of the controller doesn't input correctly when I press the buttons. I don't know what could possible be
@@suinezzolezzuino6772 I think one of the ribbons wasn't well connected. Opened my controller like 5 times until I got all the buttons working properly

Can you change out the home button? I’ve seen dualsense controllers with the coloured ps logo and they look sweet!

Did you screw back in the trigger screws??
When I got past the ribbons the top 2 screws aren’t screws they’re just these plastic little things that I can’t unscrew
