    Thanks for this excellent tutorial. Just successfully completed binding a small quilt this way; this will be my go-to method from now on.

    I had missed this video! This is fabulous. I will try this next time. I didn’t know there was fusible tread . I’ll order it next time. ❤

    Have been stitching the binding just like your tutorial but the fusible thread is a great idea! 😎😎

    I haven't heard of that thread yet. I have to see if we can get it here.
    I always thought about using an overlocker for hemming the quilt. thanks for the fantastic tips.

    Hi Gayle. I love your videos and have learned so much from you.
    Can you please add a link to the app for calculating binding fabric? So far I havent been able to find it.

    I too love fusible thread in the lower looper! I also prefer the 10D for sewing binding down to the front; however, I much prefer the walking foot or 97D for the initial step of sewing the binding to the back. I would think that even the 1D or 34D would be preferable to the 10D due to visibility.

      Isn't that a wonderful thing about the sewing craft? Everyone does things differently.

    Any chance you remember what pantograph this is? It would be perfect for a quilt I’m getting ready to do!

    You mentioned using QCT for the quilting. Are ever or would you do some videos on that? I’d love it. I have the setup for it but in the middle of moving.

      What do you mean by QCT?

    • @DD-ek8qc
      @DD-ek8qc ปีที่แล้ว

      Software from Grace. I guess it was Qumatic. My mistake.

      @@DD-ek8qc software from Grace is called q-motion and that’s an old product we no longer support. Q-matic is BERNINAs Longarm automated program and we have a few videos already! Check out the playlist here.

    What kind of iron are you using!

      We use the Laurastar irons and actually sell the systems in the store and online. www.berninaofnaperville.com/collections/laurastar

    Your hands and fingernails were in the way of viewing what you did to join the ends of the binding. Do you have this step shown more clearly in another video?
