Thank you for taking us with you on your coastal trip!
I really love all the little pieces of sea glass, they are so colourful.
Craig, I loved the selkie story. Never heard about that before. All your history lessons are so interesting!
Did Nicole manage to get the buoy back home?

3.30 - wonder why that pottery broke into bits with a face like that, sure the beach is not cursed! Seals knew you were coming for a rock show not Rolling Stones ! Spotted an illegal number plate in that town 8.50 ?....... Great finds again like the cobalt blue stones ! PS Robinson Crusoe in that town and you put it out for viewing on........ Friday ! Maaann !

    Hello Nicole, Hello Craig,
First I must say I have seen a movie about a female Selkie. It went exactly as you told the story. Sailor stole a Selkies skin because he was in love with her. They marry and have babies. The youngest of their children gets lost in the water and is presumed dead. A cousin finds him on shore and calls out to him, but he runs back to the small cradle like boat. Anyway you should see the movie. Enough of that; the sea glass was exceptionally pretty this day. Cant wait to see what is made with them. I love the pictures especially. The birds on a line and the balloons in the wind are both lovely. Thank you for inviting me along on your lark. Always lovely. Greetings from North Carolina U.S.A.

Oh! That film, I think, is called the Secret of Roan Inish! Its a fantastic film - we love it!! There is another called, The Song of the Sea - its annimated, but in a very interesting style - such a lovely film...such sad stories though... I can't think of a Selkie tale that has no sadness and seperation in it - but they are magical tales, filled with wonder!
We will have to do more framed crafts - they are a lot of fun to do and its great to know you enjoy them! :D

Fantastic video! The little yellow car always makes me chuckle. I think that piece of pottery with the face is The Green Man (Jack in the Green). Depending on the artist he could appear sinister. I have a few plaques of him around my property because I have always enjoyed gardening. The scenery in this video is gorgeous. I enjoyed the history of the Selkie Seals while watching them on the rock. Nicole dragging the buoys along the sand made me laugh. Beautiful sea glass!
