@@NorthernMudlarks The world would be a much nicer place in which to live if it were populated with more people like the two of you lovely ladies. I thoroughly enjoyed our beach larking adventure. Much love to y'all from North Carolina USA. Take care.
I was happy to see that you did not disclose the location or name of the beach. I think it’s really important -especially because you have so many followers. I can certainly see why beachcombers like to follow you. You are both adorable! And it’s fun to see you get so excited. People go to beaches to enjoy the peace and quiet and serenity (as well as to collect treasures). Once you share the name and location of a beach it becomes totally overrun and that sense of peace has been taken away from those that live locally.
Seeing you two pick up various smooth rounded rocks reminded me that American Indians in the Southwest US have a tradition of using polishing stones to smooth their pottery. They have not used glazes historically, but they do have a custom of using a smooth, round hard rock to polish ceramics in the greenware stage (dry or leather hard). It does make beautiful ceramics, even if it is time consuming. Polishing stones are even passed down the family line.
Wow, what a beach to go shopping for sea glass, love the seaweed green, that tiny bit of bright blue, cobalt and milk glass blue. My favourite that gorgeous piece of agate. Thank you for taking us on a walk on the beach it was a lovely day.
Don’t think I’ve ever told you…..I just love the tune collection you play in your videos! ❤️ great finds in this video as usual………stay safe out there! ❤️❤️❤️
Thank you so much for sharing your search for beauty and inspiration for your gorgeous jewelry. You each have gentle and beautiful voices that are comforting and calming.
Lovely sea glass finds, well done ladies! Myself and my little girl love sea glass hunting, hoping when she's older we will still have this connection as you both do 💜
Eltham in England is an historic centre for potteries. Brilliant pieces of sea pottery and glass. Your videos take me to a zen place that I always feel am there walking alongside you both through seeing what you do. As an older archaeologist and artist, I appreciate watching your beautiful films. The landscapes, seascapes and places you visit are food for the soul.
Hello Gail and Alex from the US!! I have just discovered your channel and I love it!! I’m afraid that in less than two weeks I have binge watched all of your videos. Please keep up all the lovely work. I am looking forward to all of your adventures.
Hello loverly ladies! You might consider investing in a collapsible wagon. Then, if you found more of those cool brick pieces, you could get it home and into the garden. They would make very fun stepping stones!
Alex those pieces of bottle would make a fantastic indoor chime set. Same with the pottery. I am so jealous of your finds!! Even two years ago and I still wish I could own every item you found. Congratulations to Mum too!!
Hello Beauties, from sea glass, beads, milk glass, marbles, to pottery and wishing stones, it's really hard to decide what I like best. Beachcombing and Mudlarking is the most fun. Greetings from North Carolina U.S.A.
I collect sea glass here in the southern US. I love the colors and the smooth feel. I wear an aqua heart sea glass pendant my daughter gave me. Lovely finds!
@@chelseaphillips9048. I have found that many seaglass hunters will never say where they are finding it. If they do say it’s usually a lie. I used to go to the beaches that people said they got loads of seaglass from only to find nothing or just trash glass. Now I just go exploring beaches by myself until I find one. The south doesn’t have very many beaches with seaglass though. I found one piece in The panhandle at a little beach in June george state park Florida and a few pieces on the dike in Texas city, TX but lots around the great lakes. The US is not that great for glass. Fun when you do find it though. Good luck to you!!
Your underwater scenes are so refreshing. Thank you for sharing…your new marbles, amazing, your pottery pieces beyond words so nice… have an amazing week ladies 🌹🌹
That brick "pillow" was AMAZING! Love beachcombing myself, I do it on all my seaside travels, unfortunately none this year, none since 2019 😭 Which is why coming along with you is extra lovely, as I'm stuck in the city a hot summer night, hoping for a little rain so the wild blueberries dont dry out before they mature. Have you ladies ever tried foraging for berries, herbs and mushrooms? I bet with your trained eyes you'd be exellent! I love sea pottery too😍
Oh my goodness! Too many wonderful finds to enumerate. The sea pottery has to be my favorite though, they were just as you said, tiny works of art beautifully sea worn. I love them all. The turquoise pieces of sea glass and milk glass were my favorites among the sea glass finds. The small stones and pebbles were beautiful too, and that flat black rock that you thought might be coal was so cool. Another one of them looked like a piece of the candy "Sugar Babies", I don't know if you have that in the U.K., but it was a perfect match. The sea marbles were great finds too. I don't know when you filmed this episode but it sure was weird hearing you talk about being cold. It's been blazingly hot all over the U.S. and I thought most of Europe as well. It made me wish I was there with you all the more. I loved your cinematography, especially the underwater shots. And, lastly, the circling dog was just hysterical and added to the fun of your video. Thanks again for taking us along on an epic adventure. 😊
What a wonderful film, i loved the wild weather and the beautiful sea foam glass, well all the finds were beautiful. Thank you both for making such a wonderful film.
The brick piece looked like a big loaf. A brick & mortar 🍞 loaf. What a pity it was too big to carry home. Some of your camera work this video was superb. I love your videos, always lovely and evocative. Thank you for taking us with you on your beachcombing this time, I had a blast. Hardly noticed the cold wind at all. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻🌟🌟🌟😊😊😊

Wow! What a great video! I could hear you just fine, and when Alex asked if she should take that giant piece of glass that was a cod marble bottle, I was yelling at the screen- Yes! Take it, take it!
That was a good but windy day on the beach. Lots of lovely sea glass and is always nice to find pottery. I often find warm shale on the beach here and I liked the little face looking up at Gail. Thank you for sharing and have a great week
So many wonderful treasures! Beautiful glass and pottery but my favorite are the stones, the agates , carnelian, the cute little stones with a happy face😊 Thank you Ladies for sharing!!
I haven't been with you ladies in a while (life, interrupted), but I'm thrilled to be back. You both always brighten my day, so I'll be binge-ing the last few months' treks that I've missed. I, too, love the softened shards of pottery that the sea offers up. I love to think of the history of 'how did this piece end up here on this beach', as well as the bits of sea glass. Thanks for taking me out of my head for a while. I had this thought when Gail was holding up one of the larger pieces of the pale green glass to see the light through it---stack a vertical 4x4" square-ish shape by gluing some large pieces together on their edges and adding a base. I can just picture a little tea light flame flickering through the varied shapes of frosted glass from behind, or even a nightlight bulb. Thanks for sharing your outings, your time, and your delightful selves.
Such a delight! Wonderful finds. I had a beach day yesterday. Wonderful but the only treasures were my grandchildren playing in the waves of the Atlantic. So many collect glass here now that it really is next to impossible to find. We walk along dropping bits from my collection to give our grands the joy of "finding" glass.
Hello ladies. Your finds are beautiful. Cant wait to see what some of them become in a craft vid. The pictures of sun and the sea were just lovely and the pics under the water are just amazing. Thanks for the adventure.

I heartedly love you both. Your video's give me so much joy. It takes me back at an age of wonderment that I so much loved all of it. We had a 1.4th acre garden that the rows were so narrow we had to walk toe to heel gently moving away limbs and vegies. Yes, I too helped my momma with her flower beds completely around the house and all over the porches. We went bottle digging and beach combing. Memories that last a lifetime and beyond I pray. I am so glad that I found such wholesome and mysterious videos. Thank you so much. Hugs:)
All the piping stems you could make the string curtains we had in the 1960s or with sea glass. Sea glass could be pressed and glued on planter pots. Pam from Texas

I’m here in the US the commonwealth of Kentucky but I just visited Boothbay Maine and started collecting Seaglass. I came home and discovered you guys. I love the information you give on sea glass and especially sea pottery. Cant Wait to watch all of your adventures. I so wish I could come to your part of the world. Maybe someday it’s on my bucket list, my maternal grandparents OJernigan and O’Sullivan are from Scotland.
Good to be back on the beach, lovely watching the waves roll in and the music was beautiful. Thank you for braving that wind and showing your amazing finds. ❤️
Its so true the ocean creates such magic and beauty with the sea glass and pottery! The sound was very good and the wind did not win this time!! Stay safe and well gals!!
