    This is so much more valuable than the typical "I just got it and haven't used it but it's great" reviews. Thanks, 🍻

    I have been using the NOT twill version since 2016 in england always parked outside in the baking sun, snow and rain and its still fine.

    Nice job Darryl - especially give the wet, coolish day. Good luck with the rains!
    Wouldn't it be nice if more of the car was this easy to renew!

      Certainly easier than tearing down mechanical bits.

    I've been subbed to you ever since I bought my jeep several years back, so good to see you still making awesome review videos. I appreciate it a lot, I've been wanting this type of soft top for my TJ a while. Love your TJ and im gonna take a lot of inspiration from your build when I can afford to put some money in mine. Anyways keep up the fantastic videos and reviews!

    5 years in Australia sun!!! I'd say very good with the selection of fabric.

    I love my Trektop. I tried to buy it in twill but they don’t make them for TJ unlimited, oh well. I love the fold back part as well, I just wish it had a middle roll bar strap to stop a bit of the flapping at hi way speeds.

      I think you're lucky to have a LJ. We never got them here.

      @@DarrylSheather ya it’s kind of the TJ unicorn here ( Canada)as well. I’ve owned it since almost new , I would have never guessed that it would one day become so desirable.

      I just ordered a Twill Bestop Trektop for my 2005 TJ Unlimited. Not sure when they started making them but I was able to install one on Saturday ( May 4, 2024)

      @markjames9205 I tried posting the link but it's on the Bestop website. They have Two options now for the Trektop for the LJ.

    Great review. I just bought the missus a suntop fastback, hoping it's as good as the bestop.

    Darryl I really like your seats. What brand are they and were they hard to install? Really enjoy your channel. Thanks

      Corbeau's and I just purchased the mounts to suit, complete bolt in. There are a couple of videos regarding them in the jeep playlist.

    What is the name and model of the rack in the back of your TJ? I like how it is setup.

    • @DarrylSheather
      @DarrylSheather  ปีที่แล้ว

      It's a Bestop rack. Good for lightweight items.

    My back window zipper did the same thing (missing teeth) but other than that it’s a great top

    ANy rubbing on the side of the bestop where the cargo rack knobs meet the side of the windows?

  • @zeleznid

    Hey thanks for the great video. I am going to get one for my 2000 TJ and was wondering if you can run it with the back window in but the sides out or sides in and back out. I currently have a bikini and was wondering the best configuration to keep dust out. Also where did you get that rack in the back?

    • @DarrylSheather
      @DarrylSheather  ปีที่แล้ว

      I run it mine with no rear window, or no windows. Rack is a bestop.

    What radio are you using, interested in your antenna mount. Is it GMRS?

    • @DarrylSheather
      @DarrylSheather  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      The head unit is an Alpine Halo, single DIN. We have different UHF frequencies than the GMRS radios however, the antenna mount is a fairly standard GME base.

    Hi Darryl.
    I am planning on buying the same Range vlt that you have. Im wondering if youve done any further testing on its range, and what you managed with the 900wh.
    Thanks in advance.

    • @DarrylSheather
      @DarrylSheather  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      it's going to be dependant on what power level you use, but in full power mode I'm seeing well over 100km's with a mix of terrain. Trail would be a lot further. Distance is so dependant on terrain and your fitness. That said, I'm not getting too much range anxiety on any of my rides so far.

      Thank you for replying.
      Im 20 and almost always rode in eco (untill my bike broke)
      So im sure the range I would get on it is ridiculous.
      Good to hear it from an actual owner though.
      Think im convinced to buy it now.
      Much appreciated.

    How do you have a slant in the back?

    • @DarrylSheather
      @DarrylSheather  ปีที่แล้ว

      Its a Bestop soft top with the slant in it.
