I was so mad that Miles Prowler suit had purples and such... I know why they made it as such because it's supposed to be the Prowler suit etc so I don't hate of because of that, but the fact that miles didn't have any other suit with green made me sad. 😔 But green Big Time... Ooooh boy PLEASE put it back along with the T.R.A.C.K suit for Miles and ass TASM 2 movie suit and the black Raimi suit in Spider Man 2 on PS5, it would be Heaven for me suit wise honestly. 😩👌
I'm not sure what everyone else sees in the Bombastic Bag-Man, but I like it because of its connection to the Symbiote. I'm obsessed with the Symbiote suit and the stories surrounding it and Venom, so that's why it stands out to me. Another thing that's "charming" about the suit is how it captures the character of Peter Parker. Just when he finds a great new suit that enhances his strength, it turns out to be an alien that's been taking control of his body while he sleeps. After getting rid of it, Peter has to resort to wearing a leftover outfit and a bag over his head to hide his identity. The Bombastic Bag-Man does a good job at capturing Peter's "typical Parker luck." Because of his reliance on his fancy new suit, Peter's left without webshooters and has to walk/run/jump/crawl his way back home while wearing a stupid, humiliating costume.
Funny enough the original run post secret wars. The black suit doesn't make him stronger or enhance his negative emotions, all it did was occasionally take peter on joy rides at night(good o'l symbi was adrenaline junky) and peter didn't like the idea of it being alive. Those were changes after the 90's cartoon. That adaptation was so good all versions followed suit.
I really hate the fact that the bombastic bagman doesn't have a proper mask, like it's just a bag and two drawn on Spiderman lenses, I think the mask would look cooler with a blue Spiderman mask
The Symbiote easily. The Symbiote suits itself takes Peter on one of his greatest and most impactful stories in his career as Spider-Man. Other than that, one of my favourites is the Mark 4 Armour/All New All Different, Future Foundation, Advanced Suit(PS4),
I just wish people recognized it as black rather than blue. Ever since Shattered Dimensions got the color wrong, EVERYONE did! I can understand the preference for blue, but the misconception is what kills me. That said, the circuit pulses that Beenox added were pretty fucking awesome lol

It is so crazy to think it was a fan who created the best alternate suit for Spider-Man. Not someone with years of professional experience as a character designer or a comic book artist, but a fan. It's adds another layer of cool to that suit.
It's actually not as original as you might think. The suit takes heavy inspiration from another hero at the time, Arachne, don't know who that is? Don't worry, not many people do, but she was actually wearing that logo long before Peter or Eddie. But that doesn't really take away from the black suit at all

She did infact officially wear the suit first, but the black suit appeared in a promotional piece for secret wars in December 1983, the event then being under the working name "the cosmic champions" (note that is about a full year before the official appearance of the black suit we all know). Julia's spiderwomen first appeared with her suit in secret wars #6 (October 1984) I might be missing something though, I was just introduced to Arachne after all. Just a fun rabbit hole
I’d say the Advanced Suit hasn’t aged well for me but I love what Insomniac did to change it for the sequel. The red and blue are a lot deeper than before, they streamlined the suit a lot. Really curious about what they’ll do to the black suit.
If the symbiote suit is web-less, has white spiders connected between his torso and back and is pitch black with blue/purple highlights, then it'll be perfection
In the PS5 remaster of the Insomniac game they actually fixed the colors of the Advanced and Classic suits, making the reds and blues much deeper and it made them look far better than they did on ps4
I love the Last Stand suit so much, the jacket and the “grittier” vibe to it is awesome (it also helps that it first appeared in one of my favorite storylines)

I feel the mk2 suit is pretty underrated it looks the best to me in the amazing 2 game and insomniac version but the mk1 is the better of the two, mk2 just looks like a spiderman who takes crime fighting more seriously which at the time he had to as the suit was made when he lost the spider sense and was more vulnerable. Also the colors and the long spider logo stretching all over it looks amazing. Mk1 is awesome because it has a favorite trope of mine with a suit having a up and downside to it but that’s just me
I like the Ditko suit because it hits that sweet spot between being a colorful bright superhero outfit and looking a bit more menacing and monstrous than your typical hero. In hindsight, it's easier to understand why people would be scared of Spider-Man when he wears this suit compared to the one he wore Romita onwards.
17:50 Coming from a Batman fanboy: changing the web pattern, logos, eye size/shape, etc. would be more than a "few tweaks" imo. Batman's costume is still largely the same in that respect too with just variations on the symbol, trunks/no trunks, ear size, etc. since his debut.
batman without trunks only reall works a few times imo that being the animated dcamu movies, and extremely armored suits otherwise, batman without trunks just looks so weird. almost unnatural
It's probably the Mark IV suit for me. It combines super advanced technology with the classic design. It feels like a true "Ultimate Spider-Man" suit. Raimi's symbiote suit is also one of my favorites. It's not one of my favorite designs because I don't love white on suits, but I love the Advanced Suit just because of my love for the story in the PS4 game. I used a mod to re-color the suit to have darker red and blue on PC.
For whatever reason, the Unlimited suit is my favorite (although it looked terrible when worn by 616 Peter. The black borders around the eyes as well as the flat red mask make it look bad imo)

Personally, I feel like the black suit is abit overutilized in modern media. I understand its the first MAJOR costume change for the character, but it seems like every toyline, every video game, every cartoon feels the need to have black suit representation.
now I'm not trying to starts stuff but, is it just me or are people just nostalgia blind towards the ditko suit? It's not a bad suit, it's just kinda old to me. I like to focus on the future/present and ignore the past. So I'm genuinely confused why people like an old suit. My opinion will ALWAYS go straight to the most recents. So will someone tell me why this suit is so high up on the list?
Someone could ask you the same thing about why you have such a strong preference for anything newer or more recent. It's just a cool ass suit that captures the feeling of SPIDER-Man perfectly. Nothing more.
Only issue for me with the PS4 suit is the colors but also how overly segmented it is. Take the red panels off the thighs, connect the belt to the torso, and also I think boots similar to the sensational suit would work. Where they’re half boots, because it would still work with that modernized segmented look but ass a bit of color to the bottoms half of the suit

I’ve never understood the black suit hype. Other than being just less interesting to look at and stylistically very boring, Its lack of overall detail gives it that “naked” look people tend to have when they put on morph suits. I like other variants of darker suits like his Red and Black (called the Dark Suit by insomniac) or the Agent Venom worn by Flash. Those ones actually bother to give their designs some substance. The black suit by comparison is just “naked morph suit Spider-Man.” Why do people like it so much?
I was first introduced to the Future Foundation suit when I was like 10 and was playing Lego Marvel Superheroes, I thought it was so awesome and still think it’s an amazing suit

here again to drop my unpopular opinion but i disagree with most of this list, i know a lot of people love the PS4 suit however i think the suit is straight gar-beige, i didnt wear it once playing through the game, and it genuinely blows my mind how low the spider-armor suits are. The mk-1 is so iconic to me and is so nostalgic, it instantally brings me back to the OG spiderverse, the 90s spider-man cartoon. And i think the MK3 suit is awesome.
I love the spider armor Mark 1 suit I even have a figure of it. It's one of my favorites personally I feel like it's a very simple design and like with some suits you can't really tell it's Spider-Man when they do this like with weird colors the silver and black just works really well
Hate me if you want but... the last stand spider-man suit is KINDA overrated. I mean like I LOVE the idea of street clothes being a spider-man suit but, I think it would be better if there was a dark blue section instead of the black section and had a tight web pattern.

I honestly love the noir suit (maybe because I love Batman)
now I'm not trying to starts stuff but, is it just me or are people just nostalgia blind towards the ditko suit? It's not a bad suit, it's just kinda old to me. I like to focus on the future/present and ignore the past. So I'm genuinely confused why people like an old suit. My opinion will ALWAYS go straight to the most recents. So will someone tell me why this suit is so high up on the list?
Someone could ask you the same thing about why you have such a strong preference for anything newer or more recent. It's just a cool ass suit that captures the feeling of SPIDER-Man perfectly. Nothing more.

Only issue for me with the PS4 suit is the colors but also how overly segmented it is. Take the red panels off the thighs, connect the belt to the torso, and also I think boots similar to the sensational suit would work. Where they’re half boots, because it would still work with that modernized segmented look but ass a bit of color to the bottoms half of the suit

I love the Ends of the Earth armor but mostly because I love the arc for Otto leading into Superior Spider-Man

My favorite suit is definitely Aikman’s. Still though, I do understand that it really only fits that character.
The all new all different suit is in my top 5 spiderman suits of all time....the circumstances around it coming into existence sick but I still love it.
I’ve never understood the black suit hype. Other than being just less interesting to look at and stylistically very boring, Its lack of overall detail gives it that “naked” look people tend to have when they put on morph suits. I like other variants of darker suits like his Red and Black (called the Dark Suit by insomniac) or the Agent Venom worn by Flash. Those ones actually bother to give their designs some substance. The black suit by comparison is just “naked morph suit Spider-Man.” Why do people like it so much?
My favorite suit is advanced 2.0 but the most populer alternate suit is black suit obviously

I was first introduced to the Future Foundation suit when I was like 10 and was playing Lego Marvel Superheroes, I thought it was so awesome and still think it’s an amazing suit

I first found out about the bullet proof suit in the amazing Spiderman 2 game and I always thought it was pretty cool and weird at the same time but marvels Spiderman PS4 did it better
the ends of earth suit I always thought was cool it reminded me of like a apocalyptic suit and I first saw the suit in the tasm 2 game also but I loves the PS4 games version of it

Classic Scarlet Spider is my favourite. Symbiote costume is also great. Classic is classic, 616 and Ultimate. Other suits suck

here again to drop my unpopular opinion but i disagree with most of this list, i know a lot of people love the PS4 suit however i think the suit is straight gar-beige, i didnt wear it once playing through the game, and it genuinely blows my mind how low the spider-armor suits are. The mk-1 is so iconic to me and is so nostalgic, it instantally brings me back to the OG spiderverse, the 90s spider-man cartoon. And i think the MK3 suit is awesome.
I love the spider armor Mark 1 suit I even have a figure of it. It's one of my favorites personally I feel like it's a very simple design and like with some suits you can't really tell it's Spider-Man when they do this like with weird colors the silver and black just works really well
Hate me if you want but... the last stand spider-man suit is KINDA overrated. I mean like I LOVE the idea of street clothes being a spider-man suit but, I think it would be better if there was a dark blue section instead of the black section and had a tight web pattern.

I don’t like the bombastic Bag Man suit in the ps4 game. The original Bag Man suit was loose and had no boots. It was just his soles out. That version is sooo much cooler than the one where it’s just a bag on a regular F4 Suit. Y’all should look the original version up. So sick
