You always try everything for us and it's so soooo appreciated ❤. I loved the photo slate of your furbaby (Rest in peace baby girl ), it is definitely a fitting memorial piece xx
You can use them on Black or Navy Blue shirts, I have done it and they come out fine. I do not use powder or anything like that, it's just extra steps. I place it on the shirt and use my 5 in 1 heat press. They come out great. Can also be used on 100% cotton.
You're so awesome for trying all the different items! I get so many ideas! Rest in peace Missy ❤ sorry for your loss. That slate photo came out so beautiful!
We lost our 14 year old pup this year too. It has been rough since April 21. A date I will never forget!! I made him a cremation box and a custom slate. I cried the whole time.
Thank you for the video...I ran across a video where you used screen print ink in white and you used the DTF hack and it was beautiful. I also saw on Michaels that there is a glitter that you can add to the ink. I would love to see more of the screen printing with the DTF. I think that would be great for some Christmas shirts. I have purchased the white ink and I am going to try it.
Great tutorial. I just purchased a real Dtf printer and wanted to start pressing different things but no time to figure out what and times 🤪 so this is helpful. ❤️ Thank you!
Thank you Crystal for this video. I would love to try DTF. However I must still purchase a home printer. I am still deciding between a inkjet or a sublimation printer. My question, can i print on DTF film using a sublimation printer. My aim is to be able to do tshirts, home decor, tote bags, wood and wind spinners.
I love how you are fearless and give this a try. I do have a question, what is your thought on sublimating on etched glass? Do you think that the roughness of the glass hold the sublimation ink?
Loves this video! So are you able to give me your honest opinion on the PYD heat press ? I currently have the PYD life 25L and have the worst luck with it, and I’ve reached out twice to customer service with no feed back. If your happy with the heat press in this video I may which over to that one
This is my first PYD brand so far I do really like it the only thing that is time consuming is setting up the hat press. but added the tumbler attachment is a breeze. So far I put my stamp of approval
Hey Crystal was the libby glass just a regular glass? Or? Was it sublimation?I'm wondering do you think we could use the dtf hack on Dollar tree mugs or plates?
Thanks so much for this video! I’m trying to put DTF on a mirror. My first attempt I ended up cracking the mirror. I just ordered that green conduction pad you mentioned, so I hope that helps. Now I’m not sure if I missed this, but what was the time & temp you used for the glass ornament?
@@YouCanTotallyMakeThat Its a mystery to me CrystalAnn, because even it is mirrored, you got the white coating on the non-press side. Hmm. Does the coating dissolve?
I'm new to this whole DTF thing and enjoying your videos. If you haven't already done a print on a stretched canvas I would love to see how you approach that and the results you can get.
Re: Using my inkjet on a tile for the DTF hack. Would it help using the sublimation spray, letting it dry, then adding your design? It says it will work with a higher cotton content, but tile? Just a thought. Thank you.
Wonderful video! I love this stuff, it looks so nice. My craft space has been taken up by grandchildren. Crystal Ann 🔮 keep up the great work! I'll keep watching & learning 😊
I just try the dtf hack. It would have been great but I have dark marks on my image. I used my epson f170 with sublimation ink. I noticed that when I preheated my sheet at 300 degrees, it never turned vibrant. I did print the mat side.
When you hot pressed the t-shirt two times because the image was two big, doesn't hot pressing it for the second time on the same parts of the shirt, burns or ruins the transfer/image?
Hi there Crystal, I was wondering them if you have suggestions too retain those colors on the DTF inkjet hack. Because yes I tried this on a white tshirt and colors did fade and it did have yellow so it bled. Thank you for your wonderful videos!
as for the inkjet hack the black in will last through the wash so I only recommend all black designs or if its color on items you don't wash like hats, totebags throw pillows etc
Question, can you use the DTF hack and use white vinyl to darker color shirts? Basically, press the DTF film that’s been cured to white vinyl on the darker shirts?
Bestieee these are bomb! Aww Missy looked soo sweet. So sorry. That memorial came out gorgeous 🐶 My fav is the hat 🧢 and the shirts 👚. And I remember when you made that shirt you have on and guess what?? I made myself one and when I put it on, everyone loves it 🤣 love following you and getting some inspiration from you. You’re bomb ❤ can’t wait to see more 😊 stay blessed love 🥰
I have a sublimation printer and i have tried the dtf hack and when i use the white behind the dtf it comes out blurry. I was also wondering if i got a dtf printer would i have to put the white behind it?
Wow, glad I asked. Thank you for your tutorials, AND saving all of us out here a lot of time and $$$. It's really appreciated, and so much fun to watch. 🙋🖖
Yes i will do this i have done something similar years ago but it needs an update. I mostly use gildan for both tshirts and sometimes Bella canvas for embroidery i like comfort colors but lord have mercy the price of those are insane now
I was so excited to try the DTF film and DTF powder. I jumped right in. After printing out a few designs, my printer stopped grabbing the paper. (I only have bottom load tray) I cleaned the rollers and it fed a couple times then started to leave lines in my print, both DTF film and regular printing. What did I do wrong? How do I fix the printer?
I have some designs that look like watercolor paintings. I'm curious if there's any difference between heat pressing onto raw/untreated canvas, and primed canvas. Primed would just give much better, overall look of the finished product b/c the entire canvas area would look painted, as opposed to just looking like raw canvas material. Have you tested raw vs primed canvas yet?
New to sublimation and all i have is a inkjet printer...i have a question. Correct me if im wrong but are your print outs are sublimation papers, using a inkjet printer but used the powder and hovered the heat press over to cure right?

You should do the tests again but with items that are not for sublimation
love the idea

Thanks again.

Yes I do plan on doing this is a video soon

sublimation you could convert and epson for as little as $50

I’m trying to think since it’s already done and you put it on the bottom of the glass it may be mirrored but I would press with light pressure

I’m curious how many washes your transfers are lasting?
I have made tons and so far have no issues I think they will last the same as a shirt you buy in the store honestly
I always look so forward to your experiments! Your videos are the best!! 💕
Glad you like them! Thank you so much 😊
My favorite is the pet waterer that they step on

What heat press hat and tumbler press are you using
