About the button mapping on the Switch controllers: it’s surprising that you cannot remap buttons in the N64 app…! However, for most games, I like what they did.
    - I find it smart that you can hold ZR to change the face buttons into C-buttons
    - I don’t mind the orientation swap between A and B - they remain labelled A and B, but I understand the complaints (and again: button mapping customisation!!)
    - the choix of placing two C-buttons on the face buttons is strange but I cannot think of a better thing to do with them (aside from not having them at all). Although I’ll say they work very well for me in Starfox 64!
Bottom line: N64 button mapping isn’t straightforward to recreate on modern controllers, Nintendo has some good button mapping ideas in what they’re offering, but they have to add the option to customise them!!
