DJI NEO Unsponsered review!! Is it any good?

In my own opinion is this new Dji drone any good, This is the basic version they do with no RC where you use you phone to control it.

@@RCANDY195 See my comment. I think you expect way too much out of it. Without the remote, it's just a selfie camera that flies.

It will active track objects with the controller. Of course it won't track objects without the remote, since it would be out of range of the phone if it tracked anything faster than you could walk. Theoretically, if it could track a car, it could easily fly away since without the remote, it doesn't record a home point. It would follow that object until it dies. Same with sport mode. The range is limited with a phone, so it's smart to lock out sport mode, which goes 18 mph. again, out of it's range of 80 meters in a short period of time. Huge liability to make it be able to track autonomously any object just using it's internal AI. Probably the same reason why it's autonomous modes only allow it to go a few meters. With the rcn3 controller, it is still less than other ones they make. What is the biggest plus for this, is that it's so light weight that the FAA doesn't regulate it (US market). It's certainly more capable than the x1 thingy that hoverair makes, which can't use a controller. I don't own one yet, so no dog in this fight, but the restrictions placed on it for just autonomous or smart phone use seem very logical.
