Really surprise how light it is.
This is very good solution for my travel.
Normally I use Fuji with couple lens and I can’t carry a full system of current drone lineup. Now this model can fit very well with my bag.
If you don’t take a serious on drone footage and more serious about camera system. I highly recommend this.
If you want a real drone footage just look for another model.
I always come to this channel when DJI release new drones/updates! Always the best in-depth reviews and advice!

Excellent thanks so much for the info and effort you have put into this video , I have had many DJI drones but this is ideal to set up with your advice for my 10 year old grandson to get into the hobby 👍
Great tips in this video, but one question I have is how do you get the drone to land in your palm in direction track (since the drone keeps moving away from you)?
Fantastic question. For DirectionTrack you stand still for 3 seconds with your palm out, and it will automatically fly back to you above your palm!

great question, I'm wondering this as well. With the over sharpening the auto fly videos are unusable.

Btw Matt, a quick question - where I come from the Neo doesn't have Remote ID, but I'm thinking of using it in Japan - but it requires Remote ID. How do I go about doing this?

I was so bummed when I ordered my Neo and then realized it wasn't going to ship until October 7th. Oh well, I'll still be having fun with my Air 3 until it arrives. Great video!
1) can you adjust sharpness with phone alone?
2) if you use the rc3 controller and change the sharpness...does it stay in effect even if you don't use the controller...as in autonomous or smart app?
Thoughts on disabling Rocksteady and processing with Gyroflow instead? I've seen many people suggest this.

if you set sharpness on the remote and later you fly neo by it self (no controller) does the sharpness stay -2 or resets?
Do you get the "Style" setting to adjust sharpness and noise when just using the mobile app?
Unfortunately not at the moment no, hopefully they add that ability!

Does the Neo have a mode like the Avata 2 where you can turn off EIS and keep gyro information so you can stabilize in Gyroflow?
Great video...Got mine yesterday and think it is fantastic,I hae a mini 3 Pro for main use and probably will only use the Neo without phone and handset.I do think they are quiet noisey but fantastic value.

Thank you. I think the Neo is ideal as a complementary drone to something like the Mini 3 Pro. I would be very cautious about using the Neo to track yourself on a boat!

Got a quick question these awesome settings that you’re talking about near the end of your video. Do you have to have a controller in order to adjust that on the DJI app?
Because that means everybody’s gonna have to buy the controller to do these better settings , ??
For many of the settings, you currently do need the controller, unfortunately. Hopefully, they will add the ability to adjust these in the smartphone-only version of the app.

I have one question regarding when you fly the Neo wit the Goggles 3 and the FPV RC 3. Do you still have access to the other AI Flight modes (tracking, etc)?
Thank you. No, with the Goggles 3 you only have access to video and photos mode. No tracking or quickshots.
How far as in height it can go?
I really hope they change the phone only flying app so we can adjust all the same camera settings as with the controller

I'm assuming the RTH only works for the remote. I don't recall a RTH virtual button for the manual control on DJI FLY app
Great video! One question, if I set the sharpness when using the remote, will it keep these settings for when I use it either with the phone or just the drone? If not, is this something that can be fixed via a future update from DJI?
Can you use the fpv googles with the stock controller that comes with the flymore combo? Or the googles should be paired with the fpv controller?
If the video is set to record at 4K30 in the goggles, is the live feed only 30fps? Should I use 1080p60 for FPV? (apologies if this is a stupid question)

Sharpness -2 and Noise Reduction -1 should be default. Looks so much better.

I really want/need one, but until ALL settings can be changed in the App and not thru the controller only (sharpness specifically) I will hold off.
Another brilliant video. One question .. when you change the aspect ratio to 4.3 and after you crop the footage to 16.9 does the quality get affected ??
The quality between shooting in 16:9 and cropping to 16:9 will be the same because the drone is automatically cropping the footage anyway. The reason for cropping it yourself is so that you can control what gets cropped instead of the drone deciding for you.
You can also just leave the video uncropped, if that is what you prefer. It's just a matter of taste. Some people feel that 16:9 looks more cinematic.

Hi ! Real question that I have difficulty understanding since I have the Neo, they indicate 18 minutes of maximum autonomy but why even with a 100% charged battery, the screen never indicates more than 8 minutes of autonomy remaining?

I went with the Promax combo pack soon as released for a pre-order, The features an quality and the whole nine yard of ProMax would swallow and spit out this little strip down 4k drone like a tornado came through, yeah is more money but if these features and quality was on that Neo , i would bet money on it, would be over $1,000 EASY, for what we getting with the Promax is a bargain Even with combo pack
