With the recent retirement of NASA's similar DC-8, she may be the very last in service. Still quite busy. Looks very well maintained and clean, with an upgraded cockpit (which I don't think NASA's one had).
@StefanMochnacki There were rumors they had bought a 2nd one, but yet to see it out. I think there are about 5 still airworthy but some are suspect. She was built to fly and 7 decades later she still is

Why is reverse thrust selected while the aircraft is shut down? Is this to prevent engine windmilling ?
Correct, the stand orientation was tail to the wind.
