The very first thing I saw of this movie was a review in a newspaper clipping, and my brother cut it out and put it on his closet door cuz he thought the cover, with Howl and Sohpie, was cool!! We knew nothing about it then! omggg!!! I'm DEFINITELY gonna see this in theaters if i can!!!!
This was my first Ghibli film, I rented it at Blockbuster as I randomly past it, it caught my eye. Because of me my sister, and my niece also fell in love with Studio Ghibli films and Howl's Moving Catsle.
I can’t believe it’s been 20 years. I remember being in high school and seeing this film with my friends. This was the film that got me into the magic and wonder of Studio Ghibli films. And now, I’m going to the 20th anniversary showing with some of my family who’s interested in seeing this film after I told them the absolute beauty behind it. Howls Moving Castle will always be my favorite Studio Ghibli film ❤❤

When I was 10 years old I went to the library to take out a movie, that is where I found Howls Moving Castle and instantly fell in love with the movie. I'm now 30 and this movie is still my favorite of all time and even got Calcifer tattooed on my arm, its such a warm, comforting, beautiful movie that I related to so much with Sophie.
Lots of the anime I love now is thanks to my then girlfriend. She introduced me to anime and how special it is. Spirited Away and Howl's Moving Castle are just 2 out of many movies and TV shows she introduced me to. Hayao Miyazaki is a living legend.

This MoVie😊❤.....it can take you completely out to a different world 🌎 and can make your day all worth it. I completely lost count how many times I have watched this masterpiece and I still do watch it ....on days when it's heart gets heavy for the real world to deal with.❤
20 years feels insane to me, this looks like a movie that came out yesterday😭 Thank you studio Ghibli for all of the breathtaking movies, the most iconic music, the memories, and the peak male love interests lol. Every movie from this studio I have watched, I still think about the characters, the plot, the romance, at least once a day. So truly once again, thank you from the bottom of all our hearts for creating such incredible works of art. Hod bless all of you and Jesus love you!🙏🏼❤️
(Also is it just me, or the first studio Ghibli movie you watch, that will always be your favorite? Mine was my neighbor Totoro and I probably watched that when I was 5 and I continue to watch and care about it to this day😂)
There should be a sequel to this movie. The Flying Castle and the Magic House should also be turned into a movie by Hayao Miyazaki. I think Diana Wynne Jones' other books should be made into movies.
